This place is a joke. Ordered dumplings and Dan Tai Noodles. Few things sticks out a bit odd. 1. Kitchen appears as if it was never used for years. 2. There is no chef other than a teenager. Later I start hearing food put in microwave and food comes out. Yes it's a microwave as I actually saw it used. 3. The food itself was not good. The Dan Tai noodles ver soupy w no taste. Dumpling appears as if they order it from reseller premade. The food order was very prepped in kitchen fresh to order. 4. The restaurant was empty at noon on a weekend. 5. I suspect this place hit hard times and unable to survive and the actual chef left. Avoid this place since it's not worth the price.

Passed this place so many times and never tried it. The service was great, really small little noodle place. Next time I will try the noodles but ordered the pork dumplings and pork potstickers also the scallion pancakes. All were really delicious, it took about 30 minutes to get the dumplings and potstickers though which was kinda of a long wait for nobody being there. But they were super friendly and kind, got a dr pepper for a drink. I would come back and try something else next time. 4 stars for cleanliness and for the great service but took too long so one star off. Have a beautiful day :) Aloha

You pay cheap is what the food you will get for.! The Food taste cheap & not that good .. .. Not sure why people rate high for the food here, not truth, not recommend!.....Also feel sorry fr those kids that ran the business by themselves, look like they served us by frozen food & reheat them. Food didn't taste fresh at all.. Never come back .. The owner shouldn't force their kids work for them..

Food was worth more than its price. I loved the spicy beef noodle soup. Feels very underground, will be back! Thank you for the service!

Low-key spot. Feels very authentic, but more importantly, it tastes amazing! Even compared to different dim sum places or more extravagant places such as DTF, I think I'd still choose here.

Not sure how this place got 4 stars. My sister, brother and I tired this place today. The food was awful. If I could I give it no star. I know it's good to support a mom and pop store but the food still needs to be good. The prices were not cheap for noodles. Dan Dan didn't look like the real Dan Dan noodle. The pan fried beef roll was greasy and salty. Very disappointing.

This mom and pop restaurant is pretty good. I've been wanting to try this place and glad we did. Took my dad and mom there after their urgent care visit, and they really enjoyed everything. We ordered the soup dumpling, and my son loved it! It wasn't soupy, but it was tasty. We also got the shrimp mayo, we cleaned the plate pretty good on that one (input for the restaurant, doilies are unnecessary for any dish). Chicken fried rice was also made perfectly. And steamed bok choi, at first I thought it was a bit overcooked, but it's actually pretty good, don't forget to ask for the sauce. Definitely a hard-working family, the kids were really helpful and smart. Good job, guys!

I am such a fan of these little mom and pop Chinese restaurants. It makes me think of my own family and how hard they worked to support everyone. This restaurant is a mom cooking, with her kids who help out (the older one helps take orders and serve, the younger two help bring water and clean the tables). To the reviewer who spoke negatively about this restaurant looking like a daycare and wanting the kids to be out of sight, shame on you for shaming a mom running a restaurant; this is what it’s like for people who have to grind to give their kids the best they can.Having said that, we happened on this place when the Italian restaurant next door was randomly closed. I am so glad it was, because this food was GREAT.The menu isn’t huge, but we ordered a lot and everything was really good - xiao long bao, pork and shrimp dumplings, wonton noodle soup, beef rolls and pan fried pork buns. Of course this ain’t DTF but this was really solid Chinese food, and it’s perfect for a rainy day. We’ll definitely make this a regular place in our rotation!

The only thing I didn't like was the pan fried pork buns - not much flavor, plus it was just too oily. Loved everything else though, it's the stuff I grew up eating. We'll definitely make this a regular place in our rotation!

Pretty good and authentic Taiwanese food for North OC! We especially enjoyed the XLBs, pork & vegetable bao and scallion pancake. The beef noodle soup was rather bland and the popcorn chicken was too salty. Although the food was decent, the ambiance and service made us feel extremely uncomfortable. At first, I thought it was cute and sweet that the young kids were serving us. However, it dawned on me that the Mom might be forcing her young children to work in order to save money on labor, which just doesn't sit well from an ethical perspective. It got even more awkward when we noticed a newborn baby simply sitting in a car seat in the back of the restaurant by the bathroom completely unattended. Later, the family sat down next to us for an intimate family dinner, which just felt super uncomfortable - like we were intruding upon their personal living space instead of dining in a commercial restaurant. *insert nervous laughter*Not sure I can recommend this place in good conscience.

Ordered wontons and steamed rice. Wasn't the best-wontons lacked flavor and gave me bad stomach pain. Honestly I was very disappointed as it smelled good in the shop and I wanted to have a local go-to stop for dumplings. I won't be going back.

Good authentic Taiwanese dumplings. The prices are good for the quality of the food. Small family-run business with a mother and her young sons. It was a take-out order. I was even served some water by the young, sweet boy during my wait. Everything on my order was tasty: Fried Beef Roll, Xiao Long Bao, Pork & Cabbage Dumplings, Spicy Wontons, Scallion Pancake. The only order that wasn't a favorite is the Beef Noodle Soup, which was way too salty. It's still worth the wait if you are craving Taiwanese food.
