Best country restaurant that I have been to. Service was excellent, food was great. Portion sizes were great, music was great! There was nothing bad I could say about High Horse Saloon. If I am ever back in Anaheim I will eat here.

The atmosphere is exactly as you would expect a saloon to be like! Great decorations, great music, and fantastic food! Our server Jordan was the best, and the Manager Jayleen was very attentive! We will be back!!!

We took a train ride on a Saturday afternoon and got off to eat lunch. We walked around decided where to eat and happy we walked in to this rustic place. They were very nice and attentive to getting us seated. We ordered fish and chips, chicken sandwich, side salads and the steak baked potato. We shared the baked potato and it was a good portion with the side salad. The fries were enjoyed by all. We also ordered the brownie that came with ice cream and melted marshmallow which we shared again. The drinks were also pretty good. The atmosphere was not too loud and they have TVs for all to enjoy. Really liked that they served the water in a western motif with shorter glasses. We have also heard they have live music on Sundays.

This was my favorite establishment up until tonight. The manager wasn't sure why their system was trying to charge me $5 over the bill and told me that I would no longer be able to be served there upon their mistake. Super disappointing. Do not go here

The music was unbelievably loud ! The price of Blantons Whiskey at $32 a shot ? And it's only $15 a shot or less at my regular watering holes. Ridiculous!! The service was fantastic though . Nice people . Need to fix the liquor prices ?

Great place for drinks and dinner. They have a good whiskey selection and the food is delicious. The staff was amazing I have a food allergy and they went above and beyond to make sure I knew what I could and couldn't eat

Wow whatta a place! visiting my parents they highly recommended this place. We were delighted to had come. The food was very delicious and fresh. Our server was very knowledgeable and suggested a few items and he was spot on. They had live country music. We were they on a Wednesday evening and it was lively too! Highly recommend this place!

Great atmosphere. Full menu and full bar & the establishment was very clean and cozy. The employees were amazing, super friendly and attentive. The food was really good. We sat at a table next to the small stage area so we could be right by the band. There are tables and booths available, as well as stools right at the bar. Low cost parking right around the corner.
Fun little honky tonk restaurant! I had the fish and the chips and they were great, nicely breaded cod that was moist and flaked perfectly. My wife had the Caesar salad and bake potato, she said the salad was excellent and she can be a bit picky.We came in to see a friend's band but will be back for another honky tonk Sunday soon.Parking: Paid parking lots are FREE on Sunday.

High Horse is a what you see is what you get restaurant. Staff is friendly and nice. Food is what I would consider good bar food. Cocktails are average, but if you just drink beer, whiskey or wine, you'll be fine. So what have I had here? I've had their burger, it's great. I got it with the tater tots and loved it. The fish and chips with fries is also a good go to. The ribs weee good, but wouldn't say the meat just falls off the bone. The steak was good, but not a go to if I want a steak. Enjoy, it's worth the visit

My wife has been wanting to come to this place for a while now. Ordered the ribeye and boy what a mess. Maybe my expectations were too high for high horse, I'm used to a nice thick ribeye, nonetheless, it just wasn't good at all. I mean the color of the steak gives you an indication of how bad it is. Mash potatoes were very dry, add butter or a gravy or something they were absolutely dry. The veggies - I mean did they pick up frozen veggies at Ralph's on their way into work or what? The place is nice, love the look of it just wish they served better food.

It's Sunday and I want some me time.Back when I was in a relationship, I always have to pay for someone's meal. It's refreshing that I can just enjoy myself It's a fall Sunday night and I want try something interesting. Right after an event at Brea, I decided to have some American foodHigh horse saloon caught my eye on Yelp. I got to the restaurant around 7. The Sunday night crowd seems to be staying home today. Right after I entered the restaurant, the waiting staff seated me. Then brought me my drink and water. For tonight, I picked the Nashville chicken sandwich. Now, my chicken sandwich,which is my excuse to have more fried chicken, was delicious. The construction is nice. I can taste the chicken, the coleslaw and the bacons. Washing it down with a cold hazy IPA and it was the complete package I wanted for the night Oh, the bar was playing some modern country songs. the music gave the dining experience a good atmosphere

I've given this store 5 stars multiple times.. I can't tell you how disappointed I was !Had reservation at 5:00.. store empty .. got sat , wife and son and I. Took 5-6 minutes for anyone to come to table.. finally some one came. Ordered beer , wine, cherry coke .. took another 7-8 minutes to get drink. Maybe longer.. ordered chicken wing for appetizer .. when it came , NO plates .. so we put bones in water glasses.. food ordered.. my burger was fine.. wife salad with salmon horrible.. WHAT HAPPENED!So sorry , we can't recommend ... so sad!
