They were great, but they closed up without warning. Too bad, really. Their food was really good.

I don't know what's going on with this place. It was my first time trying it. I ordered online because their menu looked great ... and waited for a confirmation from the restaurant ... and waited. Then I tried to call the restaurant and the number didn't work. So I reached out to the payment processor ... and waited. I drove to the restaurant. Upon getting to their parking lot, I got an email from the payment processor saying that the restaurant had refunded my money (still haven't seen that) and they cancelled my order. I don't think this is common since they had a pretty good raiting, but it fell WAY short of meeting my expectations. Too bad. Menu looked good.

Been meaning to leave this review for a while, it's been making me uncomfortable not to. This is not authentic "Chinese" food at all, and I'm appalled that this place has 4.5 stars on average. Maybe just for the area? It is American Chinese food at best, and trust me - Stop reading right here and consider another restaurant. I got 4 dishes and I threw everything but the soup away. Chicken may have been "freshly cooked" sometime before, but tasted (and looked) like over-starched frozen meat, over-sauced, and not crispy at all. Mapo Tofu was literally cut-up firm tofu (NOT soft) - could literally see the texture of the firm tofu dots... In spicy-flavored water. On top of that, it was vegetarian and had NO flavor whatsoever. The White Rice was dry and grainy. It didn't stick together at all. Fried Rice was more like oil with a side of leftovers. Not appetizing at all. Hot & Sour soup was the only thing somewhat decent, but nothing special. I didn't finish the meal, and threw away the leftovers. You can get fresher, more quality food (ingredients especially) at Panda Express. I'm not kidding.

Great flavor, quality, and value. We ordered Pork Intestine Dry Pot, Fry Tofu, large Hot & Sour Soup, and House Fried Rice. The dry pot and the tofu each came with a pint serving of steamed rice. We enjoyed all four dishes, me particularly the tofu because of its tomato-based sauce. All of these for $46. We will be back!

If getting fried rice instead of white rice is a $2.50 upcharge, it needs to be clearly displayed on your menu & confirmed verbally by the cashier before the purchase has been made.$6 for a very small portion of the Shakalaka chicken appetizer is insane.Orange Chicken is supposed to be craggy & crispy, not doughy & soft.

I've experienced GI issues for two days now... this place is not good. I'd rather get Panda Express. Seriously. At least you'll know Panda Express' food will be fresher. Please avoid this place at all costs.

1st time there and definitely not the last. Food was freshly made to order and great tasting. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Ordered garlic chicken and got this. When I called they said this is garlic chicken. It was most definitely general tsaos chicken. No option to make it right or let me come get the right food.

My baseline for Chinese food is the authentic stuff you find in places like Rowland Heights and most of the San Gabriel Valley. These are the restaurants that Chinese people actually flock to in droves. It's a real bummer that most Orange County Chinese restaurants lack the authenticity and taste of our brothers north of us. But there is ONE place I trust for that requisite authenticity, and that is MY BROTHER CHINA KITCHEN. I 've had some negative experiences here, like on the occasions when my chop suey was watered down, or when my family style tofu was sweet where it should have been salty, or when my kung pao had no heat whatsoever. But the good times FAR outweigh the bad times and I suppose it's because My Brother REFUSES to use substandard or non-authentic substitute ingredients like their Orange County competition. I can taste the Shaoxing cooking wine. I can taste the Szechuan peppercorn, the quality black vinegar, and the REAL (not cheap substitute) oyster sauce. I SO APPRECIATE YOUR NOT CUTTING CORNERS & SKIMPING ON INGREDIENTS TO SAVE MONEY, My Brother. And I want you to know I can TASTE the DIFFERENCE. This is not a phenomenal restaurant for the Chinese elite. But it is the perfect place for the Chinese masses and because of that you have me as a lifelong customer.

The strip mall is in a weird spot and setup in a way where there is only one way in and out. The food here is very "Americanized" ... think Panda Express. However, the food is cooked fresh each dish and is very good. The highlight for me was the Sichuan Pork!! A really tasty dish that is sort of sweet and spicy at the same time. If you order one dish... order that one. Portions are big enough to feed 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. Really nice owners and very clean inside!! A solid 3-4 stars depending on how much you dock them for not being as authentic as the SGV restaurants.

Bottom line they serve good Chinese food and there was a generous amount of it in each order. The name is the part that made things a bit confusing. The website and menus in the reviews are all messed up but once I got past all of that, it was an overall good experience. It's listed on G- maps as My Brother's Central Kitchen, the sign at the street has My Brother's China Kitchen and the name over the door is China Kitchen. I think they need to pick one name and clean up their online information but now that I know how good the food is I'll go back for more no matter what the name is.

Got the orange chicken, wonton soup, and egg rolls. Very delicious and the portions are good. All freshly cooked. Will return.

Should've known that if there are no other patrons at noon this was not the place to eat. I came in due to positive Yelp reviews. This place is overpriced. NO lunch specials/combos although the lady says they have lunch specials all day. Upcharge of $2.50 to change your side from steamed rice to either fried rice or fried noodles which I was informed of. I asked for ice water thinking it would be complimentary, and she charged be $1.50 for each bottled water without telling me. Just saw it on the bill. Ridiculous that I paid $30 for a lunch for two that would have been fair at $20. Food was okay, but I feel kind of cheated. Not recommended. I will not be returning.
