Recently moved to Fullerton so I wanted to look for a new sushi restaurant nearby. Should have listened to many of the comments about this place. The food was TERRIBLE. The salmon smelled fishy and tasted old, the tables, menus and soy sauce bottle was very dirty and sticky. My daughter had to send one sushi roll back because there was something so hard and chewy in there she couldn't even eat it. On a Saturday night there was only one waiter (who by the way didn't know the difference between low sodium and regular soy sauce), and the chef. There are way too many sushi restaurants nearby to settle for one that is so inferior. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I honestly didn't know what to order, but I am so glad I was walking around and found this establishment because everything was really great here. First off, the man that was running the entire store by himself was very kind and you could see that he works very hard.I wish I lived closer so that I could try the food more often, but I was honestly impressed with the taste and appearance cause I really wasn't expecting much at all. He also gave us a little candy at the end with the receipt...now come to think of it, I think it's still in one of my pockets because I don't remember eating it!

It's been over a decade since I've reviewed and visited. It appears the ownership has completely changed and with it, the whole vibe, food, seating and service have gone downhill. From the outside, the place almost looks closed because the lighting is so incredibly dark, dim and uninviting. The menu appears similar to what I remember, but the food doesn't taste nearly the same. The presentation was lackluster and the food was bland. The rolls didn't taste fresh and my crunch roll came smothered in mayonnaise, which wasn't disclosed upfront. The ramen was soggy and definitely made from a package. Sadly, the bento was probably the best item, but even the beef teriyaki tasted a bit off. Worst of all, there were some combative patrons dining who were clearly looking to cause trouble. I honestly felt sorry for the staff, but I still can't say anything positive about the food, as it simply wasn't good.

Sushi rolls and appetizers were ok. Service was really slow. I think when we got there the server was gone and he looked like he came back from the stater bros next door, the sushi chef and the cook helped us with our order and drinks. Overheard the table next to us got a dirty plate. This place used to be good service, what happened??? It seems like the recent reviews have been complaining about service. Y'all need to hire better servers.

Food is great. Received my order and more. Ordered 1 CA roll, they sent two. I received sprite instead of coke. Driver or app didn't alert me when my order was delivered. Sat on my porch for 20 mins. I have a tip for the driver if they come back.

Friday night around 7pm, place was empty. Something has changed i said to myself. So I ordered my usual teriyaki chicken bowl with vegetables.Cold chicken on top of lettuce was delivered to table.I asked waitress for steamed vegetables per the menu. She went to ask the cook. Came back to table to say the menu was wrong. WTF??She said there was new owner and he discontinued steam vegetables but did not update menu.I asked how long new owner had taken over, she did not know as she only worked there 3 weeks.Obviously my last time to visit this restaurant.

Ughh I use to looove this place. The food is still good, although the presentation is not as it was before. This place use to have such a cool vibe, and the customer service was amazing! There was always music playing and the waiters and cashier were super nice. Now it feels like they just want you to come and leave. It also feels like they are about to close in 5 mins, no matter what time you go because it's dead quiet. If you dine at the restaurant it feels like you're at the library, either that or everyone hears your conversation. And the ppl who take orders on the phone or at the register seem like they are busy on their phone and you're interrupting their day.

This place used to be such a good place, we used to dine in all the time, since Covid it feels like it has changed hands and the service has fallen to the floor. We started ordering food to go since it was still good, but recently is has been hard to get them to answer the phone. When they do answer one younger woman is extremely rude, and when you go to pick up she has attitude and won't give you the time day. I wouldn't recommend this place to any one

We have tried to support Orange Sushi Fullerton since it opened. It has changed hands and has very apparently gone downhill, yet we continue to try to visit, even though the Orange Sushi Anaheim location is far better. We placed a takeout order on Friday, December 16. The person making the rolls was nice, but the person handling the register was not. We got home and there was no sauce to go with our rolls (even though she confirmed sauce was there). I called back to ask if I could come pick up sauce. It was 8:30pm and Google said they close at 8:45, and I’m less than 5 minutes away. The woman said I could not get sauce; had already been put in the fridge. I explained I had no sauce for our 6 rolls and asked if she could get it out of the fridge. She said no. I told her I was very disappointed and that Orange Sushi Fullerton had lost my business. I asked for her name and she hung up on me.
