Both times that I've tried going to this place they tell me it's closed. Door is wide open and the open sign is on. They close at 9 pm and I go around 1pm for lunch. Something is wrong with this location.

Just got home from the Fullerton location, what a wreck that place is. First it's filthy on the outside then I went inside and it's filthy on the inside and smells terribly of rotting food. Someone was just finishing up their order when I walked in and there was a party of about 4 young men seated and eating. The gal was telling the guy cooking "babe, don't do it that way......." while he was putting product in a bag. He turns away and starts cooking. No smiles anywhere to be found, very unpleasant attitude and body language....she looks at me and says something I can't understand so I ask her to repeat it. "What are you having" oh ok, I'll have the Italian sub "can't make that, we don't have any cold sandwich stuff". This is the sandwich I always get so of course I'm disappointed but that's ok, it gives me the opportunity to try the sandwich my husband always gets the Philly's Best. She asks if I want grilled onions on that and I say sure if it comes on it. She asks if I want anything else and I say yes make it 2 of those sandwiches. I have the e-foodie coupon so I have to buy 2 large drinks with that which I do. This gal just appears to be miserable. I get my drinks and some peppers that look old and shriveled and bring it outside where my husband is sitting. He warns me not to touch the arms on the chairs because of the dirt caked on them and looks at the peppers and says we're not eating those, they were slimy. So I went back in and tried to get some peppers that looked fresher. I mentioned to the gal that we were outside and asked how long should I wait until checking back on the sandwiches. She says she'll bring them out. The guy brings out the sandwiches wrapped up to go even tho we were eating them there. He was pleasant enough by saying enjoy your sandwiches. Right away I could tell they were smaller than what we normally get. We open them up and they are small but I know that a lot of businesses are scaling down their food recently. Looking at the sandwich I can't find any grilled onions nor any mushrooms. There was meat, a couple of green peppers and a very little bit of cheese. I go back inside and tell the gal that I think the mushrooms were forgotten (I don't even get a chance to mention the onions) and she raises her voice and tells me something like "our mushrooms look like that" but is interrupted by the guy yelling I told you we didn't have any mushrooms. I say no I was only told there were no cold sandwich ingredients and then she starts yelling ya, we told you. And I said why would I order and pay for a sandwich that included mushrooms then? They are both yelling at me, we told you. I'm telling them You didn't tell ME, it wasn't ME. She says what do you want me to do, we don't have mushrooms.....ok I say, then give me back the extra I paid for a sandwich with mushrooms. She says I didn't charge you for the Philly's Best which is not true, I have my receipt which shows she did charge me $10.49 for Phillys Best. She says no she didn't and was going thru all her paperwork and finally opens the cash register and THROWs the money at me! I brought home half of my sandwich and the slimy peppers just in case I get sick, I will be able to show it to the health inspector. I should be refunded all the money I spent on this inferior product. It's no wonder this place is dead all the time the way they treat their customers, we won't be back

Having not eaten all day I was starving. I wanted something fast but different. As I was driving I saw "Phill's Best" in Fullerton. I thought, that's the ticket! I quickly parked and went inside. There was no waiting (as i was the only customer) and the courteous young man quickly took my order. The cook got right on it and started cooking my order. As I stood there waiting, I began to regret my choice in eating establishments. The entire place was filthy (which is sad because it's so small and contained 4 employees). The floors appeared to have not been cleaned in years. Almost every chair had tears and the foam was coming out. The walls would have dominated the filthy floors had it not been for the glass doors and windows. You literally could not see clearly through them. As I looked around, I could only wonder when the last time the grill had been cleaned. I decided to snap a few camera shots because I thought no one would believe me. As I began to snap a couple shots my order was up. Wow, that was some quick service. I got home and with caution I unwrapped my sandwich. What a mess. Still starving I chose to try the smaller portion of my Buffalo chicken sandwich. Other than the Buffalo sauce, the sandwich was tasteless. I put the rest of it where it belonged, in the trash. I can actually go on, but the readers will take this review for what it is. I pride myself in patronizing eateries in my area and supporting local businesses. This is one business my family and I will never return to. Their other sandwiches may be amazing, unfortunately, I chose a bad one. I predict they will not see 2023, unless the owner does a 180° change with it. I truly wanted to love this place.

I really do love the cheesesteaks and onion rings. Disappointing that they have a BLM sign on the register. I don't care to be involved in anyone's politics or political views. When asked why they have that, the employees become argumentive. Not a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Employees look like they just got out of bed with no Phillys best uniforms. I won't be coming back to this location. Also $16 for just a cheesesteak and onion ring is expensive. No soda included

This place has super good philly cheesesteak! It has been the best philly I have ever had. I have only tried 4 other places for philly cheesesteaks, so take my opinion with that in mind. I had a cherry soda with the sandwich, which was pretty good. Theh had some posters with some football quotes and stuff that was cool.

I ordered my food through Uber eats and the food never arrived I called Philly and whoever answered phone in an English accent told me that there is nothing he could do I would have to call Uber eats so I explained that I have security cameras and there is no sign of the guy showing up to my house he again explain to me basically was not his problem call Uber eats. I called back and told him about a double charge and he again explained to me as I told you before Phillies best has nothing to do with that you have to call Uber eats. absolutely no help whatsoever like basically telling me it's not their problem. Horrible customer service!

June 5 2022 We received excellent customer service the Philly cheesesteaks were very delicious I think next time I'll do less cheese or no cheese it seem too cheesy for me but everything was very good including the french fries. The French roll they serve it on was fresh soft and delicious enjoy

Do not come here they don't wash there hands. I went in today and the cook was in the back on her phone and the cashier was wiping her nose. The cook coooked my food and the cashier handed her the cheese with full of snot. I grabbed my sandwich and threw it away. No thank you, they should be shut down. Mirrors are super dirty never been clean. Place is a mess, go to the one on placenta they are super clean there.

The food was OK. The person/pin cushion that took my order never even said hello or acknowledged me. just dropped my change on the counter. He/She/They/PIN cushion really needs to find a job they like because that is not a job they are happy at. Horrible customer service!

Most people in the area would swear that Charle's has the best cheesesteaks. I particularly prefer this place. And I have family in Philadelphia. There's about three excellent places in the area that make cheesesteaks this happens to be my favorite enough to where I'm gonna leave them a five star review to hopefully help get them more customers. Great food and excellent prices you can't go wrong. Stop and have a cheesesteak and tell them Tommy sent you.

We walked in and immediately felt the bad vibes. The pickles and peppers were sitting under a flickering light in the corner which looked like they hadn't been changed in days. We noticed the man making the food without gloves and politely asked him to put on gloves while he makes our food. He had previously been on his phone in the corner while we were ordering. He mentioned 'you're more likely to get sick from the gloves than you are from my hands and it's scientifically proven' first of all LOL second of all, we asked nicely and didn't ask for his opinion. He also mentioned he had washed his hands '3 times today' which we never saw once. We asked for his name because of his rudeness and said he didn't need to give us his name. Highly suggest any other place to eat in this vicinity or reading these reviews before you decide to eat here

I've always hated this location, but this time called for a negative review. I put my order 2 hours in advance to be ready for pickup at a certain time. When I got there to pickup which was a little past the pickup time, they hadn't even started making the order. They weren't busy at all so no excuse there either. The owner didn't even apologize or anything. Very very disappointed and will probably go to a different location just because of this.

Went one hour and 15 minutes after they opened. The soda machine wasn't turned on yet, the employee looked put out when I said it wasn't working. Another employee was wearing a BLM shirt, there weren't any napkins, and it is kind of run down looking. The food tasted good. The meat was skimpy, and the fries were huge.

Definitely one of the smelling, dirtiest, rudest workplace i have ever been to. I seen an ad about this on i.g and it looked really good. Came to see the hype and it is absolutely disgusting. It smells so musty, workers didn't even wash their hands before touching the food, and on top of that didn't wear gloves. Tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but after he started touching the food NO. We humbly asked for a refund and the girl with all the piercings was rude about. Smh. Idk who leaves 2 kids to close at night. Bad idea. Would never come again or recommend.

Phillis best used to be my favorite place to go for a steak and cheese but over the years the have cut back on their servings so much that I definitely think twice about even going there. I wish they would reportion their servings and bring back a real philly cheese steak.
