I really like Taco Tuesdays so I eat tacos almost every Tuesday. I have tried tacos from quite a few taco places ranging from Orange County to San Diego over the years. When it comes to tacos, I prefer the traditional Mexican-style with meat, onions, cilantro, and salsa piled high on a corn tortilla over the Americanized versions loaded with lettuce, cheese, and other toppings.Even though I am not Mexican and have never actually been to Mexico to authentically experience tacos, I still pride myself on knowing what good, flavorful tacos taste like.Ponchos Tacos is located in a shopping mall in an industrial complex so it's not directly accessible from the main road (State College Blvd) resulting in fewer visitors due to the location in a less crowded shopping mall. When I visited, I was the only customer. Based on the location, it seemed like a place focused more on lunch than dinner business.The interior atmosphere was nothing fancy, very much a common street restaurant vibe focused on takeout. However, Ponchos Tacos' carne asada tacos were the most delicious I've had in the past few years. The prices are also cheap - Taco Tuesdays are $1.75 per taco. But the taco flavor is unmatched. The beans were also tasty. However, the rice was too salty for my taste.Overall, if you are in search of a delicious taco in the East Fullerton area, I highly recommend Ponchos Tacos. And when you pick up your order, don't forget to hit the salsa bar next to the counter to load up your tacos with some extra flavor!

Tried this place for the first time today. I have been trying every taco place near work. So far, this place is #1 on my list. Taco Tuesday was great as I always get beef tacos. El Cantarito did not have beef taco for Taco Tuesday (what???) so I liked the fact that this place included beef taco. Beef in the taco were very soft compared to other places including Hole Mole. I am definitely coming back every Tuesday! Beans were good. Only complain I have is that rice was too salty.

Don't believe the prices... it's 12+ bucks for a wet burrito. Twice as much as you see on the screen. Food was pretty good though.

This was my first time here and it won't be my last. Tacos were the bomb! I had the chicken and al pastor tacos. Everything was tasty, including the avocado sauce.

I stopped by for taco Tuesday with my toddler and ordered 5 tacos and a medium agua Fresca came out to $16.85 we live walking distance we come here often and when we were done eating I over heard a lady ordering tacos for taco Tuesday, a family of 3 only paid around $20 ish I walked up to the cashier lady before leaving and asked her for my receipt because I realized she charged me for the regular price of tacos instead of taco tuesdays price. She took forever adding it up and recreating my receipt something was off after this I won't ever return I don't like people getting over. I could only imagine how many other people she has gotten over on smh so unprofessional and untrustworthy. Beware and always ask for your receipts.
