Sakura is awesome! As a vegetarian, this place elevates my experience to the next level with so many amazing options. I used to always go to Huntington ramen and the quality is still just as good. Only disappointing part was when we got the check the math at the bottom for the gratuity was totally incorrect and inflated. Not sure what the reason is for that, but seems super shady! Anyhow food is awesome as always.

I LOVE THEIR NEW LOCATION. Sad they are going back to the old location even though its closer to home. The vibe in the hotel is just nicer. That being said I love this place for their food not the vibe. So here or there we will follow. The crispy dumplings and the spicy pork goza are THE BEST! I also love the ramen. The spicy pork is VERY SPICY so if you like it spicy go for it. My personal favorite is the tan tan. I love the ground pork. Sushi is good. Rolls pretty thick and large. Not my favorite but last night we had a seared peppered salmon that was AMAZING. The service is ALWAYS friendly. On weekends check in on Yelp before you go especially once they move back. The wait in the parking lot vs hotel lobby will be missed.

It’s a nice Japanese restaurant. We only tried their sushi and it was fresh and good. The rolls are big and probably is more than enough for a person. The staff are friendly.

Ok Japanese food inside a hotel. I was meeting with two friends and one of them chose a shabu shabu restaurant. They remembered the name wrong and we ended up at Sakura instead. To find it, just walk in straight from the hotel entrance, go through a good, and it will be on the left. They have a Yelp wait-list kiosk right in front and they were pretty busy at 5 pm. The best thing we had were the handrolls and sushi rolls. Great rice ratio, good seaweed, and the all important fish was fresh and good. Loved these Nigiri and handrolls and would come back for them again, 4 stars. Not so successful was the curry my friend got which was lighter in color and not as flavorful as we wanted. It tasted bland and we wish it had that more distinct color and more significant flavor. The shrimp tempura was also battered with tapioca and too chewy.

you are missed but I messed up on the time. I will be back!! This place deserves more love, last time I ate here they gave us an amazing Gyoza to try that we crave and wanted more of this time coming back. So drove over, but the times changed. Whoops! I'll be back. XD Seating is novel and fun inside or outside the separated wall! I liked that we had the choice. The Shoyu Ramen I had ordered here was delicious! Had perfect texture with the noodles, not being too soggy or water logged! The broth was magic on my tongue, salty, meaty, well seasoned umami, and I will soon be making my way back to try that amazing taste again with that yummy salty egg! Only qualm I really had here, was the water being warm with no ice, but that's fine for the one time we came to this location. I highly recommend if you are on the fence to try this place out. Especially if you are looking for a good ramen spot! Hours are always on the change. So make sure to check yelps hours and don't use Googles hours, google is persistently wrong. Have a good one! :D

I found this place on yelp while searching for vegan options in my area. I'm so happy I found it! The vegan ramen and sushi rolls that we had were incredible. Great price for vegan sushi too as they have lunch specials. Staff was friendly and service was quick! Very nice ambiance but please note they will be moving to a new location around 4/3/22 as shown in my photo.

It's tucked away in Hotel Fullerton, so it's a bit hard to find, but I would just ask the concierge if you have any troubles. I love the fact that they have two menus--a vegan and a non-vegan one--as it made it very easy for our party (some vegetarian, some not) to order. The service was amazing and everything came out very quickly. My favorite would have to be the spicy tunaon crispy rice and the GB salmon vegan roll. P.S. I believe they are moving back to their old location in April though, so they won't be at Hotel Fullerton much longer.

Located inside Hotel Fullerton is Sakura! Aka Huntington Ramen & Sushi. Many parking spaces available. As you walk in the hotel you wanna go straight, slight right and it's on your left side. Came in on a Thursday night as it seemed pretty busy. There was about 6 other tables occupied. Quite suprised since the restaurant is tucked in a hotel. I really enjoyed the interior with the anime canvases and nice lighting. Pretty sure this place is more known for their ramen as we noticed all the tables had ordered ramen and few had some sushi plates. After reviewing their 2 menus, this place is definitely Vegan friendly as one menu is dedicated to Vegan and the other has everything else. The Nigiri/Sashimi menu is also on it's own menu. Tonight we were in the mood for sushi. Food: Seaweed Salad: A little different from your typical seaweed salad, this one comes with lettuce and is topped with sliced avocado. Solid taste, I enjoyed eating this in between sushi bites since I'm not a fan of ginger to cleanse my palate. Cajun Yellowtail Carpaccio: Simple and delicious -- not spicy. Loved the jalapeño. BG Salmon: Basic salmon on top of a CA roll. I enjoyed the crispy garlic pieces on top. For Nigiri we had the Bluefin, Chu Toro and Salmon Belly. All three tasted fresh. Unfortunately the Oo Toro was out for the night, I can only imagine how soft and buttery that one would go down as the Chu Toro was so delicate already. One thing I disliked was the amount of rice given, I ended up cutting the rice portion in half because it was too much. (No Wasabi in Nigiri pieces) For drinks I had a glass of Japanese whiskey: I can't remember the name, but it was $9.95 for a 4oz. We also wanted to order shishito peppers, but they were out of this appetizer. Overall pretty friendly service, the only downside was the food took a while to come out. I'll be back to try more and the Ramen!

VEGAN SUSHI YUMMY! really good options. The only thing I didn't like was waiter not telling us the same was unfiltered so we drank without mixing it. Overall good place

Spark notes for the impatient: Great food and menu, Consistent and very attentive staff. I am not used to eating at hotel restaurants, had a bad experience once. This place however has changed my opinion. After training for my new job nearby for 12 hours each day I just don't want to have to drive anywhere to get food after getting cleaned up. The staff at Sakura is warm and welcoming. Very attentive but not annoying. I think I've had a chance to meet everyone here since I've been eating here nearly every day over the past few weeks. The Chefs food is consistent and produces delicious dishes. I've tried quite a few things on the menu but I am a creature of habit so once I found a dish that really hit the spot I pretty much get it each visit. I've eaten at quite a few restaurants through out LA, OC and Northern Cal. and very rarely am I willing to write a review. This place is way worth your time. Note: I've eaten at nearly every Japanese restaurant within a 10 mile radius of here at least once. This one is at the top of my list. Hoping work brings me back to cali in the near future. I know where I'll be frequenting.

Delicious ramen, great service, and amazing lunch specials... definitely recommend. It's inside the hotel so it's nice and quiet. They also have beautiful anime art.

This restaurant is inside of the hotel. Food is good. They have a whole vegan menu. Fast service.

A bit of a wait for a busy night but the Ramen was fantastic. As with most places, they're understaffed so don't knock them for that. The service was still fast and friendly.
