I was in town for a couple of nights and had the pleasure of going here for dinner. Lovely atmosphere with friendly and attentive wait staff. It was a Sunday evening, so it wasn't terribly busy. There was only about a 20 minute wait or so, and it went faster than that. The menu is straightforward and easy to navigate. Each meal comes with salad and dessert treat (either a scoop of spumoni or vanilla ice cream) with the largest decision being what kind of pasta and sauces you want. There are a few things outside of just spaghetti to get, like fettuccine, lasagna, etc. but the simplicity of the menu is a strength and it all fits on one page. This isn't the Cheesecake Factory.I had the salad with balsamic vinaigrette, spaghetti with meat sauce, and some spumoni. Each is served separately as courses with a small loaf of freshly warmed bread to share at the table. It was delightful. Coupled with a Black Manhattan (one of a number of classic cocktails they offer), and it was simply a well thought out meal that satisfied, not stuffed. The portions of food seemed to be intentionally aiming to be "just enough," as opposed to a massive plate full of food you have to pack up with you for later. The salads and soups were enough to whet the appetites, there was a very manageable amount of pasta for the main course (no one felt the need to save some for later) and the single (generous) scoop does a lot to polish the meal off nicely.A wonderful experience all around. Next time I'm in town, I'll certainly be coming back.

The building is gorgeous, the food is fantastic, and the service was top notch. From our server, to the food runners, and the cooks, everyone cares about your experience. I have celiac disease/ gluten allergies and they took very good care of me. Wonderful place and excited to go back again soon.

I don’t appreciate how young girl with red hair worked in the takeout section on Sunday night had such an attitude for no reason it’s like she’s going out of her way to give me attitude and make me feel bad. Good thing I wasn’t dining in. Soon as I get unwanted attitude, I’m out… it was just an unpleasant experience.

Been coming here for the last 20 years from when my girls were babies to being adults. Always a great experience. Staff works hard to make the experience special. I really appreciate them. Food's good and we always order extra to take home.

Last time I came here, we waited for hours and hours for food. I didn't want to come again. But my mom said she had been multiple times since and hadn't had that problem again. While the wait was not as extreme, it still seemed unreasonable. We made a reservation so we were sat quickly. The restaurant was busy but quickly clearing out as it became closer to closing time. It took almost 40 minutes for our food to arrive. We we're going to just pay for our drinks and salads and leave right as the waitress came and told us it was coming. The sourdough bread was super fresh and smelled amazing. I wish they would slice it for you as it is very hard to cut especially at a tiny table. The loaves are small for if you have a big party it won't last long. I got the garlic Mizithra without mushrooms which is my favorite dish here. It had so much crispy bacon and a good amount of cheese. I finished off with my favorite ice cream flavor, spumoni. I wish they gave you a bigger scoop, but at least it comes "free" with your meal.Long story short, the food was amazing but service was very slow. I did also get sick after eating here, that could be unrelated but I wanted to make note of it in case anyone else experiences this!

I have been enjoying this restaurant for over 30 years! I have NEVER had a bad experience whatsoever, and that's what keeps me coming back. I teach at Cal State Fullerton, and I always have a wonderful meal to celebrate the end of each semester... in addition to all the other times I have a meal there. One final note: you have to try the spaghetti with the Mizithra Cheese!!!!

Just gotta vent here….. we had a large party dinner celebrating my father’s 94th birthday. Joining him was his 91 year old sister from Dallas. There were a total of 27 of us and we explicitly told them that we needed a table that was easy to seat my dad and my aunt as they were both on walkers. They said “no problem” because they had a lift to get them upstairs. The seated us on the 2nd floor where you have to use the steps next to the restrooms. When they took my dad and aunt to use the lift, they found out that it was not working and the only way up to our table was for them to use the stairs. For the inconvenience the manager comped 3 appetizers! Wow….. that makes up for being non ADA compliant! After dinner when we were all leaving, it took 3 of us to get my father and my aunt down the stairs. Both were very nervous about it but what options did we have?I admit it! I was pissed and dropped a “F” bomb when venting to the manager lady which I shouldn’t have done and to her, I am truly sorry but then when she smirked as if it was funny, I was really pissed. Then she explained to me how her father cant eat at the restaurant because he is in a wheelchair. Can you say NON ADA COMPLIANT?The food was sub par and the service was not great as they had one server for our table working her tail off with very little help. She was great and did a great job as thinly stretched as she was.Anyway, good night celebrating with my father but lousy experience with such an established restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Good luck…. If you are disabled or elderly on a walker, go somewhere else because this restaurant can not accommodate you. They also have the IDGAF attitude!
