(Pre-COVID-19 review) The Pizza Press is located directly across from CSUF, in the same plaza as The Habit, Which Wich, Cafe Rio, Wingstop, and CBTL. I never came here for their food but a few classmates and I stopped by to grab a drink after we had finished our final. There are 2 lines, one for pizza/food and the other is for drinks but we stood there for a good 5-10 minutes without any acknowledgement. There were only a few people in the restaurant, but very slow customer service. Thus the reason why I gave them a low rating. They have a drink menu on the wall and one can try samples of the drinks if you are deciding between a few. They have a lot of options on tap and the prices were reasonable. Very convenient location, but customer service could improve. Plenty of parking in the lot, or a close walk from campus.

Sadly, the experience at this particular store has caused me to now avoid all Pizza Press locations. This store had some weird pricing rules (probably trying to get extra money from the college students) that made no sense what so ever. As an example, order a "publish your own" and you can have any or all toppings as much as you want. This is what I ordered. One topping was pepperoni. I asked for extra pepperoni. I was told that would be $2 extra. What? On a publish your own you get any topping in any quantity. How about if I add every other meat? No problem. Ask for 4 extra slices of pepperoni, $2. I reached out to corporate about this 3 different times and they ignored me every time. So I stopped going to Pizza Press completely. All because the owner of this particular franchise is charging more in an attempt to profit off local CalState Fullerton Students and the HQ didn't bother to respond to me. I can not recommend this store at all.

First time here and won't be returning. There is something about the staff here that is very off. I didn't get a welcoming environment in here. The guy making my pizza seemed like he rather be other places when I told him I've never been inside a pizza press. And the pizza it's self was nothing special. Very thin and tasteless to me. Did the build your own with a range of different toppings. But it was not even that great. And now I'm sitting at home with bubble guts within 2hrs for 11.50$. Yikes. You're better off going to a different location or a different pizza place all together.

This is a really nice little place to customize your own pizza by adding any toppings you want. Be careful as less can definitely be more. This won't change your life but you will go back for more. The price is very reasonable based on location.

It's a good place to eat pizza. You can have half pizza if you want for half prize and create your own toopiings. After the payment they let you sit on the table and bring the pizza to you. Nice and clean place.

We went in looking to order for a party today, and only seconds in the door realised it wasn't worth it. I don't leave negative reviews, but there are certain things you don't do in customer service. We walked in the door, and it wasn't apparent to us that we had failed to close it when we had stepped inside and instead of a kind "would you mind closing the door for me?" apparently the employee decided an unnecessarily agressive tone and snarky attitude was the proper response in asking for the door to be closed. I don't mind being asked to do something, especially considering it was well within reason and we should have done it to begin with, however the approach of asking for it to be done was incredibly negative, and counterproductive to my goal of ordering for a party. Hence, we walked right out. I would rather take my business elsewhere right now and hope the next time I come back that their behaviour changes, so I can leave a better review. For now, however, it's a no from me, and only after walking in the door and being in there for less than a minute.

LOVED IT! The staff was amazing and very accommodating. I’m a pescatarian and they allowed me to order The Chronicle on half and my cousin ordered The Times on the other half. I’m sure I could have eaten the entire pizza by myself it was so delicious, but splitting it was perfect for us two ladies ? The crust was thin, which I’m normally not a fan of, but this one was scrumptious! Soft yet firm enough to hold all the toppings and had with a crispy crust. ?

I was there with my wife and encountered the rudest employee Jasmine. She was giving us attitude and have the most unpleasant experience of my life. The manager is an idiot for hiring this employee. He should be replaced, he is unable to identify those that need to be fired or trained. I will never return to this store ever again. In fact, because of this horrible experience I will just go to Blaze or Pieology and do our best to avoid this company and all its locations. Don't go there, jasmine will ruin your day!!

If I could give a negative star I would. I order the gluten free pizza one top for my daughter at least 3-4 times a week. I usually go to the Blaze at OrangeFair Mall off Harbor and they are awesome! And honestly other places are great. But today I decided to go to this Pizza Press and I had the WORST experience ever!!! It was Jasmine and her customer service was terrible. First, she didn't ask me what type of pizza I wanted and started to put the regular dough on the press. I told her, I want gluten free one top. From the beginning her expression was annoyed like I was bothering her...this is her job she can have a better attitude. Then I asked her for vegan cheese. All of these things are extra charge and I'm totally ok with that. Then she asked me what I wanted for the topping and I said can I get a lot of ham? They shrink when they cook. I literally don't want anything else on the pizza. That's all I asked. She puts a spares amount of ham and I tell her can you add more? She adds and few and then I say can you add a little more. She sighs and says I'm gonna have to charge you more. I was like why? I never got charged more for ham when I ordered the 1 top...not at another Pizza Press or at Blaze. If you're gonna charge me then I should just order the publish your own. Wth.....I said fine just charge me. Then she charges me for a publish your own, (when I clearly said 1 top), vegan cheese, gf crust and for the "extra meat." I told her your charging me extra when I ordered a 1 top and she corrects the mistake. Yea, so I ordered a really expensive 1 top pizza and got a lot of attitude. I honestly don't mind paying more if I am treated with respect. If that was the case, I would've just ordered the publish your own. Or have gone to blaze. Her attitude was the worst. They just lost a customer. I'm going back to Blaze and NEVER coming here again, ever! They just lost a really good customer. Her name is JASMINE. She should consider doing something else if food service doesn't suit her.

Clean, good location, nice staff. My only issue is the food itself. While it's not terrible, the taste is lacking compared to other similar build-your-own-pizza places.
This is probably my most favorite sit down pizza restaurant! I would come here often with my friends after class and the service is always great. I'm not vegan but I happen to go for the vegan cheese just because it tastes so good. The size of the pizza is good for 2 people to share if you can't eat a whole pizza by yourself. I find that I sometimes will have a few slices left over of the pie. One thing I like about this place is the comfortable seating and atmosphere.

Used to come Here all the time, best prepare your own pizza, but recently this place has a gross sewer smell and they try to mask it with air freshener. As soon as you walk in you can taste the bad scent. They need to get their floor drains checked.

There has been hair baked into their pizzas the last 3 times I’ve been here over 2 weeks. I used to be a regular customer (1-3 weekly visits) but I’m never going back again. The food was very good and up until a couple weeks ago (after finding hair in my food). The sanitation really needs to step up. I am never going to pizza press again.

Great selection of plant based toppings. My pizza had red sauce mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, onion, olives, pesto sauce, cilantro, & arugula. No wait, great service, clean, friendly environment.
