I give this place 2 stars... 1 cuz I LoVe the hummus board and another for Shaun. I've been to this place many times, but over the months pre Covid and Post they don't seem to take investment in the time for there clients and guest. I have tried a few times in the last month to come and order take out but no such luck. Strike 1 was when I went in pre covid to grab a hummus board and the hostess quickly told me and a friend they were closed at 6pm when it clearly states on the window they close at 10pm. Strike 2 was when I drove by and saw people in the bar, but when My friends and I parked and got to the front door the bartender made the hand motion that they were closed (once again it was well before 10pm) and strike 3 happened just now. I called the bar to see if they were open and got a voice msg. I figured, maybe they are busy since the msg stated they were open on Saturdays till 10pm. I took the drive and just what I thought... DARK, DEAD, and CLOSED. This place has HUGE potential, the food is GREAT if you ever get the chance to eat it, and Shaun was great to talk to. if they actually take the time to invest in some promoting and advertising, get some good live music back in there, and some daily drink specials this place can actually be a chill place to tell your friends about... I did... and now they are just making me look bad

I was shocked when I noticed employees not wearing masks and working back to back without the 6 feet social distancing that is required during these times with Covid-19. The bar and kitchen area was not rearranged as required per guidelines to make it safe and allow for appropriate social distancing for guests as well as employees. This should be in place before opening for business. It would be helpful to post a safety notice so guests and employees know what to do and how you help to keep them safe. In the meantime I would not recommend to go here.

This place lowered their prices for COVID and provides an amazing community service. Their cheeseburger is incredible and the rest of their food is really delicious too. I can't believe it took me two months to realize they were doing doordash. I'll order more! Raise your prices! Thanks for working right now. Take care.

Got an email advertisement from them, being local wanted to give them a try and support a local business. Had the burger and beer combo. What a steal! Delicious all around. BBQ was probably the better of the two but we really enjoyed both. Pizza and pretzel also hit the spot. Thanks again!

2 stars for food, 4 stars for beer. I ordered the Mini Banh Mi Tacos and the Charred Brussel Sprouts and unfortunately I was disappointed. The brussel sprouts were not charred at all- they came out as if they were boiled and then sauced. Not the most appealing to the eyes or appetizing, in my opinion. Also the braised short ribs in the tacos were dry and almost hard to eat. If I were to come back I'd definitely try something different. On the bright side the beer was great! I was intrigued and throughly enjoyed their selection. My favorite beer was the Pollen Nation. Would come back for that.

This place is coming along. I've lived in Fullerton for 30 years and although off the beaten trail, this place is nice! Great taco Tuesday. The bartender Shaun is amazing. Being in the industry I understand the ins and outs. Food was fantastic. I tried all the tacos. Fantastic. Show kitchen, you can see your meal being made. I love the music selection. Great date night. See Shaun! The food and his service are a game changer! Thank you!

This place is amazing love the drinks and the food but most of all the customer service. It was my first time coming in and I will definitely be coming back and spreading the word about this place. Marisela one of the servers did an amazing job, although it was pretty busy and understaffed she did her best and the drinks and food came out at a reasonable time. She was very welcoming and made sure that every detail (drinks & food) were anything but average. All in all a nice atmosphere to be around, 10/10 for That waitress !!! If I go back and she’s there I definitely want her to serve us again!

She said she was overwhelmed and started to cry. There were 4 guys just standing around talking and laughing. Not one tried to help her. Not sure what their job was but they could have helped. At 8:20 we walked out. Never got a chance to try the food that was so highly reviewed. My friends birthday was completely ruined. We couldn't get in at any other restaurant it was to late.Will never come back. We all felt so bad for the girl working that we tipped her anyways. THIS PLACE DOES DOES NOT LIVE UP TO ITS NAME. NOTHING AWARD WINNING HERE.

I always go to downtown Fullerton on weekends. I don't know how I never came into Evans up until Saturday... I enjoyed the food/drinks/friendly service. It was a very busy this day but what did I expect on a Saturday? I got pepperoni pizza/wings and Brussels sprouts. Everything was amazing! Shout out to our server Mari! Will definitely be back :)

Please don't plan on celebrating anything here, you will regret it.

Came to the public house on a Saturday night with a party of nine. We had reservations and we're seated relatively fast. Unfortunately, they only had one bartender who was also the server for the entire restaurant. The restaurant is half full so the service was delayed. Not to the fault of the solo worker, She did her best to just overwhelmed with workload. Couple people in the party ordered Jack Daniels,crown royal , Jameson and more normal whiskey's, however they did not have any of them. Not sure the bartender knew how to make some of the drinks, because they didn't have the same taste. Needless to say, we ended up leaving after one round of drinks and went to a different restaurant in downtown Fullerton.
