I'm Armenian and have been vegan for 17 years and was very excited to see that this "place" exists. My husband and I decided to try it for the first time yesterday. We ordered online from their website directly to pick up and received an order confirmation saying it would be ready in 45-50 min. This was around 5:30pm and their hours said they were open until 11pm. We started driving there and were parking around 6pm when we received a text saying the entire order was cancelled. It was so confusing and unprofessional on so many levels. The address they provide is a large apartment building. My husband asked several store owners near by if he knew where they were and they said that they operate out of their apartment and to call them, and someone usually runs the food down. We tried calling the number several times and there was no answer. I understand if you are "closed" but then update your website and social media to state that. ALSO, why wait 30 min to cancel the order when someone has already begun driving to you?

I think this place may be a scam. I ordered food and then found out there was no physical location (which isn't a big deal). After waiting for what seemed like forever in a street parked spot in front of their "listed address" which is actually the address of a well respected coffee shop, I was told that "the guy is walking my food out to my car now". Well, after waiting for this "walk" I continued to call for status updates. I was finally told that it would probably be another 30 minutes... Well it turns out, I think this place is IN BURBANK. They list their physical address in different locations (I assume) to come up on Yelp searches, and they never tell you where they really are based out of. This is an extremely odd way to run a business. The customer service was awful, the transparency was awful and the entire thing process took out over an hour of my day. In the end, I told them I couldn't wait any longer and asked for a refund. They DID issue a full refund, which I am very grateful for. At the end of the day, if you're going to try this place, at least know what you're getting into first.

I've never been more sick eating at a vegan restaurant. I ate at around 11:00pm and I cannot stop vomiting. I was completely fine earlier in the day and this was directly after eating from here. I have a really bad sensitivity to dairy and I'm really worried that I ate something that contained dairy.

waited a half hour after the time for pickup and got no text or call or email so we called and they said it was cancelled. really annoying

They are not open at 10. I don’t know why they have a breakfast menu. We ordered, paid and my husband went to pick up when it said the order was ready. He came to a parking structure and nothing there. Then we tried calling a few times and they said oh you didn’t know we don’t open until 5pm? Sure it’s good food but that’s not good business.

I'm giving it a 5 star because it may not be their fault this place is impossible to find. 10pm on a Saturday night and Google maps driving directions were useless. We drove around for over 10 minutes trying to find this place and it just didn't happen. I'm assuming it's inside a courtyard or food court. ? I'll never know.

Food is really good however our most recent order took almost TWO HOURS to complete and we only ordered three things. I was already aware that it takes a long time. I ordered an hour in advance because I know that's how long it typically takes. I got an order update saying it will take an extra 30 minutes and I was like okay so I won't leave yet. I got there right at the hour and half mark and I called to pick up the food and then she told it would be another 17 minutes but it ended up being closer to 20 minutes. I think this will have to be my last time eating here. I loooooove the food, I really do but they need to have a better system. I hope the owner reads these reviews and hires more help because it should not take almost two hours when we only ordered three things. And I see there are other reviews just like mine. I think once they get it together and are able to produce food within a reasonable time this place will be great. Also I think they should have instructions on how to pick up food and where to park, it's really confusing.

Amazing small business, the food takes awhile so order an hour ahead at least. And park at the Burlington coat factory parking lot as all of this is being done at a neighboring apartment, they'll call you to meet you at your car(:

I was in the area and really hungry, I only eat plant based and found this business online. I ordered pick up, It was hard to find once I arrived but they were nice and brought food to us. I will say wait time is longer than I expected but I could tell the food was freshly made and crafted at time of the order. I’ll go back again since my puff pizza was so yummy, this time I’ll know it’ll take a little longer than quoted time .

Delicious food for pretty cheap! They gave me a free drink too for the wait. The location is not at a physical storefront, but instead you can park anywhere in the address listed (basically by Burlington Coat Factory) and they will deliver the food to your car when it's ready. Wait is about 30/40 minutes, so I recommend keeping that in mind when ordering.

I had a very disappointing experience tonight. I will start with the positive - the food was truly unique and delicious. However, sadly, the customer service was very rude. I love supporting vegan businesses so this makes me upset to have to write, but I was so upset with how I was treated. I called the "restaurant" when I was 45 minutes away (because I was driving through on my way during a long trip and looked up new vegan restaurants along my way). I say "restaurant" in quotes because there was no actual physical restaurant, only a residential building next to a Burlington Coat Factory. I was told that it would take 25-30 minutes to prepare the food, so I decided to call back when I was closer so the food would not be cold when I arrived. When I arrived to pick it up, there was no actual location to be found, I was instructed to park at Burlington Cost Factory and wait for them to bring the food out. Already sketchy. But then, I waited for 16 minutes in my car for them to bring it out. After having already called 35 minutes in advance when I was cited a 25-30 minute wait. So they actually took 51 minutes to prepare the food, that they said would take 25-30 minutes to prepare. I was driving with my son in the car and just wanting to get home so I called ready to just cancel the order when I was assured my food would be right out. When the employee came out, I asked if they would take a few dollars off as a gesture due to the long wait. She called the business owner to ask permission and after an additional 3 minute phone call, came back and rudely stated that they would waive the cost of the meal (seemingly nice gesture) ...but threatened that I never to come back there again, as she stormed off. I was absolutely shocked and disgusted by this lack of accountability and blatant overreaction. The food was great, but between the sketchy lack of a physical location and terrible customer service, I feel obliged to warn others. I did give 2 stars instead of 1 because the gesture to comp the meal was nice -- if the owner had left it at that, I would have given a full 5 stars because of what would seem like her taking ownership. But threatening me to never come back, when I innocently asked for a $3 discount after being asked to wait an extremely long time with a child in the car is not OK and sadly negates the free meal. It was never about the $ anyway, but rather righting the wrong of time lost. I will gladly remove the review when the owner takes responsibility and apologizes. There is no room for ego in business.

Great food! We had the puff pizza! It tasted amazing, it's a much lighter pizza option! We also had the Meatless Zrazy, which was our first experience with this dish! We loved the taste and enjoyed our experience at Vegan Brand! It's a great late night food spot!!
