“In short I can review their wines and their online events. If there's any justice, soon I'll be able to review their new Sonoma space, too. In long These guys are low-key in their packaging and low-key in their approach to self-promotion, but their craft is exceptionally good, especially at the price points they occupy. I've been a club member for most of the last 10+ years and the worst problem is I keep opening stuff even when I should save a bottle or two to try with more age on it. They source mostly (if not entirely) local fruit to produce a nice variety of reds, a couple whites, and the occasional pink. I've enjoyed everything I've tried, some tremendously. They pride themselves on their pinots, which have some heft to them, with tons of flavor, all perfectly in balance. And while they don't make cabs as far as I know, they make wonderfully hearty zins and syrahs. I've purchased aged examples of their syrahs and opened them right away...which is also the schedule I follow for their new-release syrahs I could be aging. They often release a white (with a companion white blend) under the name Winter Sun, which is usually a very small batch. It's one of the best whites I've had. They have made a rosé (I think from syrah grapes?) that's definitely the best rosé I've had. They hosted online tastings with blending sessions during the lockdown. They made it fun to see how combining single-grape samples into a blend could make something average change instantly into a delicious and interesting wine, just by finding the right proportions to meld together. I've been a fan practically since the beginning and expect to keep enjoying their wines for as long as they care to make them.“

“My wife and my two daughters went to their Tasting Room Today off of River road in Fulton CA. Scott Henry was our host. Thank you scott for the wonderful tasting and such a great time. The Alexander family who owns Sanglier cellars makes some wonderful wines. You won't be disappointed.“

“Omg! We just had the best dinner date ever! So refreshing! The place is welcoming, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the wine is delicious and the menu is mindfully crafted! For the vegetarians and vegans out there, get ready to be blown away by fresh ingredientes and delicious recipes! The French lentil soup was the best soup I've ever had in my life! The lasagna bolognese omg!! The baguette! Don't even think twice! The whole ordering ahead was really cool too! Just come to n in and have an experience for yourself! Just wow!“

“Wood fire pizzas are finger-licking good. The crust was excellent. I could not stop eating. Nice, newly renovated or newly opened location (I am not from the area so I’m not sure). We tried a couple of pizzas and the house salad and everything was delicious.“

“Best gyro and the dolma is INCREDIBLE! This is a MUST VISIT spot when in the area. Tell Sam that Chris & Zip sent you. You’ll be addicted to his food, service and charm. A place for real Mediterranean flavors, and none of that big box processing. He’s open Monday - Saturday, with tri-tip on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Honestly, stop by and try the food. You will be transported to a new land of flavors and comfort.“

“Absolutely phenomenal! The hype is real.Ham & cheese empanada: SO GOOD with gooey cheese and a really flavorful ham! Not your usual ham & cheese.Spicy beef empanadas: great seasonings with just a touch of heat.Tarts: buffalo (crazy good, a bit tangy with tons of savory) , spinach/artichoke (creamy perfection with loads of seasoning), plum/bacon (sweet and savory), al pastor (the sauces really make it), and a dessert blueberry cobbler. Each was absolutely mind-blowing. The crust was so fluffy and light, and the fillings extremely flavorful.Husband says it's now his favorite spot in Santa Rosa. We just finished and already want to place a second order. Going to try their sandwich next.(Also the box comes with a fresh flower. Nice little touch :D)“

“This place is a hidden gem! Everything we have tried has been delicious! The people who work there are so nice and lovely to talk to despite the place being super busy on the weekend. Every time we are around that area we stop at wild flour.“

“I've eaten dinner here 5 times now. I always think the food is very good and I haven't anything that was not tasty. I love the complimentary small cup of lentil soup. They also do a nice salmon on the tandoori grill which is unusual and delicious. Of the many Indian restaurants I have tried in the area, this remains a favorite. Also I like the reasonable prices with many entrees in the $15-20 range. And great friendly fast service too.“

“Look, it's an embarrassment of riches when it comes to breweries in Sonoma county. But if you haven't been to Parliament, you are missing out. With a spectacular and varied selection of IPAs, lighter beers, sours, and stouts, the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We've come many times and the service has been consistently spectacular even with a crowd. And don't get me started on the murderers row rotation of top notch food trucks. Great patio, comfy inside, seriously, it's a great spot to spend time!“

“been to this wine area many times but been a few years, Saw the press on this winery and sounded great, It was awesome food with the wine, and thew wine was good and winery builings and houses, the estate, the gardens. This just how I see a winery should be run for my likes, Great time joined the club“

“Lovely winery located off the regular beaten path! I have tasted at La Crema Estate many times over the years and somehow it never disappoints. While many know it for it's grocery store wines, it has much more to offer. First off, the site is historic and absolutely gorgeous! Tons of room for all seasons involved, so never an issue there. Also some great spots to take some photos for social, so that's always a plus for those visiting. Getting to the location is not that difficult either, a simple detour from the major city of Santa Rosa and you have basically arrived. When it comes to the wine, they have a myriad of different varieties that you will not see in the store, likely either wine club or exclusive to the winery. While I am not a Chardonnay fan, I will commend them on their Pinot's that are local to the county. Price point for the tastings and bottles of wine are on par with many other competitors in the area, which is great. Overall, I always end up leaving with a bottle or two as it's such a great experience with some great vino to offer!“

“Is it a bit overpriced? Yeah. It’s air really good? Also yeah. As a Jersey Native the west coast has mainly disappointed me when looking for pizza but I’m glad to have stumbled upon this place while in town. If you want bready run of the mill pizza than this place isn’t for you. If you want East coast style ? with a little panache then look no further.“

“I had the Herbal Mocha (brewed with roasted roots with reishi and maca added) and it was delightful. It was a rich and earthy bouquet without being bitter like some similar drinks can be. My barista (who I think was Emilou!) was very kind, and gave me some guidance on where in town I should check it because I haven't been in Sebastopol since 2007 and it's changed a LOT since then. “Good food, they had the ground meat so it's a bit different. The plate was filled with meat, in fact i was hoping for a bit more of the noodles. Whatever was going on with the meat, it was a bit too sweet. So an overpopulation of meat made the dish a bit much. They had chillies at the table, but microscopic ones. Not enought to balance out the food. The dish was prepared by a culinary artist, just like in the shows. It was nice, but not what i was looking for.“

“My husband and I stopped by for a tasting and were hosted by Scott. I can't say enough good things about the wine. We are from Ontario, Canada and our LCBO carries Kendall Jackson wines which we love we wanted to pay them a visit. “I love Cooperage! Every time I go I feel so welcomed! They have the best beer in town, hands down! There is always something new. I also love that they always have a different food truck in front serving up so yum ? cheers to cooperage killing it in the game!“

“I am so happy that I took the time to make a stop at CUVER and sample their beers. I am an avid IPA drinker but after sampling CUVER's lineup of Belgian beers I may have changed my favorites list. Their beers are absolutely fabulous, I enjoyed every one of the 7 samples in the extended flight!! It's not a sprawling brewery like you find down the road but the atmosphere is very nice and you can tell immediately that it is a family run business, the staff are very friendly and are eager to tell you about their beers. If you like beer, do yourself a favor and stop by CUVER.“

“OMG! We just had one of the best meals ever! I can’t recall the last time I felt so welcomed by restaurant staff. Our server, Tiffany, new to serving since last fall, was absolutely stellar. We lacked for nothing. Her recommendations were wonderful and we ate so much and brought leftovers home. I’ve never been to Italy, but now I really want to go if this is truly what the food is like! The best lasagna I have ever had. It was so light that you couldn’t even tell you were eating a pasta dish. The pizza was unlike anything we consider to be a normal pizza here in America. The dough/crust was light and the toppings for fresh. I’m a serious fan of a good arugula salad and their’s did not disappoint. The lemon dessert was perfect. I have gluten intolerance to US wheat. But I can eat wheat without a problem in Europe. Other than local produce most of the food is imported from Italy. We will definitely be back.“

“Really great vibes! The beer selection is great, and the staff are super friendly - plus the trivia night we stumbled in to was a lot of fun. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer!I also can not stop thinking about the awesome tacos we had from the food truck outside.“

“I ordered happy hour beer and wings. Both were exceptional, and fresh. The mango habanero wings were delicious and hot!! I ordered the thumbs up burger with some changes and it came exactly how I ordered with amazing service. The gentleman was polite and was spot on with checking on us at perfect times. The ambiance was pleasant but the outside seating looked even more comfortable with multiple tvs. I will come back again with more family!“

“One of my favorite stops for a latte! I've been loving their seasonal tiramisu latte, so fun and aesthetic! Their food is also good, of course, cafe coffee and breakfast items are not cheap, I mean you can't even go to McDonald's without flinching at the cost, so be prepared for this to not be your basic cup of black coffee and croissant. I haven't ordered something at Retrograde that I haven't liked, bummer is, the place has become so popular over the years that a wait is almost always required when stopping in, with very minimal seating available.“

“I spent a lovely afternoon listening to live music, enjoying their Zin Master zinfandel, and loving the friendly and comfortable vibe. It is truly a family business, and the great flavor of the wine reflects the care they take in everything they do. It is a small and very comfortable tasting room. Customer service is top notch. I enjoyed the pesto, provolone and prosciutto panini. We spent a lot of time last summer going to wineries that our visitors chose. I wish I knew about Spicy Vines then! I'll be back soon. (They also make brandy and serve great beer for those in your group who aren't into wine.)“

“We didn't get to spend as much time at MacRostie than we probably would have liked, but my friend dumped a whole glass of red wine right onto his pants. But our time there with Corey was great. He was very friendly and welcoming, and explained a lot about the various wines we tried. He procured a charcuterie box for us as we were starving around lunch time and it really hit the spot. We sat outside looking towards the road and it was a beautiful day. Overall an excellent experience.“

“First time there - Valentine’s Day afternoon on the way home from a medical appointment. It was raining. My husband ordered take out and came back to wait in the car. He said he was really impressed by the young lady who took his order. He said she was pleasant, said please and thank you when she asked him questions and received payment, and she offered to bring the food out to the car (not necessary). The burgers were delicious. We’ll be going back soon.“

“Another amazing restaurant in Healdsburg. We loved the global creativity of the dishes, the elegant cocktails, and the fun atmosphere. The service was exceptional too. We sat at the bar (I thought I’d made a reservation but hadn’t) and we were glad to be there. The folks behind the bar were engaging and interesting. We had the two specials (a crudo and the croquette) and the dry rubbed ribs and French fries. Each dish was unique and clever. It’s going to be hard not going back every time we are in town.“

“So good! I knew how good their drinks were and have heard great things about the food so we have been dying to try it. My husband and I came in on a Saturday night and had our 2 year old with us... I let the host know my 2 year old was with us and that I was unsure if it was appropriate and he made us feel SO welcome. Overall the service was amazing, the drinks are exceptional, and the food is as good as we had heard. The smash burger is a must! :)“

“This place has the best fish n' chips and calamari! Their tartar sauce is mouth watering!! Everything else on their menu sounds so good too, but I always go with the same thing because it's too good to not order. Leave room for dessert and try their lemon cloud; it iS HEAVENLY!“

“Love the vibe here. This is my first time back in Sebastopol in 17 years, and the hodgepodge art vibe reminds me of old Sebastopol much more than downtown. Good to see the humble old spirit of the city still lives in a few places around town.They have a wide and eclectic variety of teas (including loose leaf). They also have display cases of various raw crystals (not the polished ones like in most stores downtown), all of which are for sale. My soy latte was great too“

“This place is a real gem. Wonderful teas and the cacao is extraordinary - especially the Euphoria. Just wonderful. The staff are really friendly, respectful and knowledgable.However, it is severely let down by only ONE very important thing for me... the fact that they serve swine meat. For an establishment with such an obvious wellness / spiritual underpinning, I was really shocked to see it on the menu. The most spiritually corrupting of all foods. Whether you are Jewish, Muslim or a shaman in the Amazon, pig meat is always strictly OFF the menu. And why is that?Pigs are the only animals whose organs can be transplanted into humans successfully. Their eyes are so much like ours, it's uncanny. According to cannibal tribes, humans taste like "sweet pork".That's all I'm going to say.Please guys, get swine off the menu!“

“Obsessed. Jeffrey's is our favorite neighborhood breakfast spot. We like to go an hour or 1.5 hours before closing as the line has died down by this point. My husband is a chicken fried steak connoisseur and he says this is the best one. I'm a big fan of the cobb salad with a side of fries for lunch and the bacon & Brussels sprouts hash for breakfast. The staff are friendly, personable and accommodating. Ambiance is family friendly. Outdoor seating available and dog friendly patio.“

“Portalupi offers a number of wines that diverge from most of what you'll find at the majority of wineries in northern Sonoma County. Starting with a Barbera-based sparkler (a little drier, please). After wading through a couple of decent dry whites (Arneis, Vermentino), and skipping some of the lighter reds, we moved on to some of the bolder offerings: Barbera, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo-- all winners. Dolinsek Pinot was a nice surprise; a departure from the rest of the (Italian) lineup. The host of our group of six was friendly, informative and engaging, with just the right balance between taking us through the flight and giving us space to socialize among ourselves and discuss the wines“

“Good food and friendly service!! The shrimp taco wasn't what I expected but was still good. It was more like a mini shrimp quesadilla in a corn tortilla. I'm not a fan of cheese in tacos but this worked. The dining partners enjoyed their birra tacos. The horchata was fantastic. Would not hesitate to eat here again.“

“One of the best up-and-coming breweries in Northern California. Brewery itself is great. Good selection of very drinkable beers and a lot you can buy cans for. We've had them once before when in Santa Rosa and look forward to when they will be available all over.Brewery is really nice - kid and dog friendly (yes, we did have the people with the screaming kids next to us - people who do not understand other people exist in the world and don't want to hear your screaming kids the whole time we're trying to enjoy some beers - but that's not the brewery's fault - just be aware - if you don't want to be around screaming kids and parents who just let their kids go - this is not the place for you).Any place that lets dogs in is going to a good place. They have games here too and of course we left with shirts and hoodies.Support this place. With a lot of the breweries in the area closing down, it's good this place is thriving and hopefully will grow. It seems like Henhouse (who we also love) has really taken over the area but there's plenty of room for another great brewery.Also, if there's a beer you want to take home that they don't can, they will bottle some for you right there. That is awesome!! We of course took advantage of this - love it.“

“This is my go to lunch spot. Everything is amazing! I usually get a sandwich and soup. All of their ingredients are fresh and the soups are to die for. Get the broccoli cheddar whenever it's available. Trust me. Everyone who works here is super friendly and I always love stopping in.“

The menu is extensive, including all the classics for breakfast and lunch plus some unusual offerings like cabbage borscht, gumbo, and a delicious homemade mushroom gravy served on biscuits or as a side which I almost always order- it's great on poached eggs, the potatoes served with eggs, or even just to dunk toast into . The chef personally came out to deliver the food and explain that it was a new menu he created for dinner. The lamb shank was so perfectly cooked that it fell off the bone. “Region was the highlight of our day. Tons of options to choose from, they had a winemaker doing pours of their new selection , and the staff is top notch.Best of all you can get food delivered from the local restaurants. We loved the vibe here, and it used to be a dog friendly place.Definitely come with friends to hangout, or just read a book. It’s a fantastic wine and food experience.“

“I've had combination banh mi from here many times in the past, but I would have to say, today's sandwich hit a home-run for me. I can't get over just how perfect it was. The best traditional banh mi can be found in the South Bay, but this place is just as good, if not better. The bun is nicely toasted, crisp but not hard. The meat was tasty, pate super creamy and the tangy pickled vegetables balanced off the richness of the mayonnaise sauce. Party in my mouth with all the amazing flavors. I highly recommend this place. (Hint: ask the lady owner to make the sandwich. Wink...) It's out of this world!“

We had sparkling to whites to reds. We enjoyed sitting outside in the comfy chairs and the view of the vineyard. Such a relaxing place to visit. Walked away with some sparkling wine.“

“Every visit to Bravas is a delight. We make sure to always enjoy a lunch or dinner with them when we're in wine country. The servers are friendly and helpful with suggestions of different tapas plates to try. The wine list is diverse and delightful with most wines available by the glass. The outdoor porch and patio are beautiful - with orange trees and lush vegetation as a backdrop.“

“Excellent BBQ sauce. Love the Cobb Salad with BBQ sauce on the side for the chicken. Every one of the 4 of us loved our meal. BBQ Ribs, Tri-tip, Chicken, Pulled Pork, Pork Chop, Cole Slaw, Mac & Cheese, crispy fries were all very good. The sausage is meh (crumbly and not firm enough and falls apart before you can get it on the fork). Good flavor but wouldn't order again. Our server was Chris. She has been our server before and we would ask for her again. She's very bright, cheery and attentive. Hurricanes and Spicy Blood Orange Jalapeño Margaritas were excellent! All & all an excellent experience!“
