I'm not kidding when I say I haven't had a better pasta.. Their portions are huge and I would be lying if I say I don't think about eating at this place like once a week. I get the creamy pesto with burrata and it is absurdly good. Enjoy the vibes of SteelCraft and go get yourself some delicious pasta this place is great.Vegetarian options: There is no vegan meat to add to dishes to my knowledge but pasta is pasta and you can make what you want it is heaven for a vegetarian pasta lover.Parking: Very easy to find and very easy to park at.Kid-friendliness: There's a playing area for kids in the Steel Craft which is the eatery in which Al Dente is located in.

Seriously have never had a bad meal whenever we come here (and we come here a lot) and it's one of our faves at Steelcraft. Had the bbq chicken flatbread last week and added some pineapple (fight me) and jalapeños - love that they didn't charge for extra toppings. Crust, sauce, cheese, and everything about it was perfect! It was a beautiful day outside at Steelcraft and we couldn't have asked for better service and weather! Must try items imo: bbq chicken and margherita flatbreads, any of the pastas but especially the pesto creamy and pink sauces!

Heard that a new vendor occupied one of the spots in Steelcraft GG so I knew I had to stop by and try it out. I don't particularly crave pasta often but when I do, I want something creamy. My choice is usually alfredo, carbonara or pesto. I liked that they have options that are pre-set and they also have a customizable option. I really wanted to try the burrata pesto pasta but it seemed like they took that out of their pre-set menu, so I customized my own. I ended up spending close to $20 because I added chicken and mushrooms to my order. It was very delicious and I liked how generous portions were. As to whether this is authentic Italian pasta, I don't eat enough pasta to say anything about it but I enjoyed my meal.

I've been on the hunt for a good pesto gnocchi that's more local instead of going out to LA, and wow this place delivers!!! I built my own pasta with gnocchi and pesto sauce. I added chicken, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and topped with Parmesan. I would hold off on the chicken next time for sure. It's a small amount, but for $2 more I actually can't complain too much. The QUALITY of the chicken did creep me out. I appreciate small pieces of chicken but these bits were kind of hard and cartilage-y. I'm weary with trying chicken at new places, so after today I'll definitely opt for other protein. Everything else was just amazing, which is why I'll still give 5 stars. Thank you Al dente!!! Update on 11/19 this meal messed my stomach up for a WEEK, possibly more. My sister had the spicy fusilli and she also experienced the same thing... food was good but after effects were not..

Wanted to try this place since there was a event here and wanted to try something new. I usually go here for duck duck donuts, Bird Talk, and the other variety here. The staff were super friendly and helped me very generously. We got our food in a timely manner and it looked presentable. However, it may look good but the taste was deceiving. It didn't taste very great and it taste cheap for the price it was worth. I was hoping it be more tasty since I enjoy a good Alfredo. Again, props to the staff and how fast it cooked, but I won't be eating here again.

I tried the Lobster Ravioli and my boyfriend tried the Chicken Alfredo. We both were disappointed and would give both dishes a 5/10. The lobster ravioli sauce was suuuper watery and the ravioli itself wasn't great. It's a decent sized portion, but considering how it tastes this would be a bad thing :/ service was pretty fast though.

The food was delicious. I got the sausage and peppers in a pinck sauce with linguine. Steelcraft is a great place to eat. Lots of options.

I got the meatball sandwich and a pasta Meatballs were great a good portion for the price food comes out nice and fresh. Pasta was just ok, I would opt for a panini instead. Don't forget dessert.

Visited steel craft garden grove and was craving pasta and Al Dente got me! I loved the option to build/make your own pasta bowl. Flavor is 10/10 and portion sizing of everything is also amazing!! Also got to try their flatbread pizzas which was also really good! Honestly was really surprised with how decently priced everything was on the menu and loved that the portions for their food were large and in charge. I've gone to steel craft garden grove two or three and always choose Al Dente for my food! ps. They also offer ice cream cones!!!

Got the bacon carbonara to share with my son. He didn't want the last few bites so I had it. Bit into something sharp with my teeth and had to spit it out. Turns out to be a large piece of glass. When I went back to the shop, the person that originally took our order just said oh, okay, we don't have any glass in our shop. Didn't seem to show much care. I didn't know what else to do and left. Food was decent but wouldn't want to buy again due to the experience. Plus, it would have been dangerous if my son was the one that had the last bite.
