We called to ask if they had any sesame balls available. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude, asking us "what sesame balls??? Of course we have it." Before we even said thank you, she hung up the phone. Was planning to eat here for the first time but we don't deal with rude ass people.

Cashier is rude to customers. Especially the lady with short hair and glasses. Very bad. Need to be nicer.

This is probably my favorite location for Banh Mi Che Cali chain. The prices jer are definitely cheaper than all.the other locations. The cheap prepackaged lunches here are top tier for the price. When you ate trying to save money without having to cook for yourself at home, I highly recommend coming here to pick up something cheap, quick and substantial to eat. I got the $6 grilled pork, Chinese sausage, meatloaf and egg over rice lunch

I’m not gonna post this but the owner should take this into serious consideration and talk to your employees. The store takes cash only, so at least it needs to meet the customers’ expectations.Ordered the promotion of chè (dessert) buy 3 get 1 free; it’s $3/each, and they gave me half of the plastic holder (not even half)??? As you can see in the photo, the one on the right was the leftover chè in one case that the employee gave me with 14 beans (literally, I could even counted). There was more in another case, but the lady tried to scoop little by little, tried to cleaned up the old one, and she didn’t wanna open the new case of chè…We pay to buy your product, not begging you to give us food…?If you scroll to read the reviews, I’m not the only one complaint about this.

This place has some amazing desserts. It’s buy 2 get 1 free. I always get the three colored one and then corn one. So good! The boba use to be buy 1 get 1 but I guess after COVID the deal went away.

Bánh Mì & Chè Cali is a go-to spot for those craving delicious French baguette Vietnamese style. The baguettes are a standout feature, with a satisfying crunch and soft interior that make them irresistible. Personally, I love breaking one open and diving into the middle - it's a sensory delight. However, while the Bánh Mì sandwiches are decent, they don't quite match the excellence of the bread itself. There's always a line at this place, but usually their service is pretty fast unless people ahead of you order so many of the Vietnamese sandwiches baguette, Nevertheless, the affordability and frequent promotions like buy two get one free on desserts or 10-inch baguettes with various meat options make it a popular choice. Overall, Bánh Mì & Chè Cali offers a tasty experience, especially if you're craving their signature baguettes.

Service is quick so don't be worried about the long line. It gives you more time to make choices on what you're going to get. You snake through tables of fresh goods so then you somehow end up acquiring more food than you expect. The sandwiches are good for the price as are the desserts (che). We did pick up some mini Banh Cam but didn't taste much of the mung bean jn there. The sandwiches are good and the bread is the right texture. The price is right for what you get for, so not earth shatteringly good but a great value

I visit OC often and I always come back to this spot for banh mi. Honestly, my favorite spot for banh mi! I always get the banh mi pate cha (Vietnamese pork meatloaf) with extra Vietnamese mayo and really enjoy it! The bread is nice and crunchy on the outside while being soft on the inside. The Vietnamese mayo here is so good I always have to ask extra of it! Sometimes, I order just banh mi and a container of pate and the Vietnamese mayo because they're good by themselves. I just wish the place could get a remodel because it does look very old inside. The service isn't the greatest, but they get people in and out fast!
