I love this place, great food and service. They have WiFi, but it does get packed. They’re open late which is also a plus. I would’ve given 5 stars, however the one thing that I do hate is hearing the kitchen cooks music on blast. It’s very hard to focus when he’s blasting rap all day. Please ask them to wear headphones or lower the music. I had headphones on and could still hear their music over mine. This honestly happens every time I’m here, to the point where I lose focus and leave.

Great boba spot that opens late! Studied here all the time during college, it gets very crowded during finals season both inside and out. Some seats are better than others since outlets are limited. They have swings and fairy lights outside. You have to buy a drink for the wifi and I think it's timed/limited. Lots of variety on the menu and they even sell snacks! I like the popcorn chicken and fries. I think they changed owners or just revamped the menu, I noticed some adjustments. Usually order the earl grey milk tea that came with grass jelly but decided to go with something blended. Uji matcha freeze was surprisingly super yummy! Nice matcha flavor, no ice chunks, not too sweet, and warm chewy boba! I was surprised since I came 30mins before closing. Drink did come out to $9, but considering everything and it's midnight and it actually tastes good. Definitely recommend!

I love their cute decors inside and outside - remind me of those young and carefree days of childhood and burning the midnight oil for school/exam/license. Popcorn chicken and drink came out really fast. Mango snow with cream cheese was deliciously refreshing, although it was a little sweet for me. I would give this place 5 stars but my popcorn did not taste as fresh or meaty as other places I had been to. It was good but I did not taste the hot chicken meat inside with soft/crunchy outside and flavor of Thai Basil leaves were missing. Parking was FULL. Small parking lot and I was too scared to park on the street and walk. My partner in crime parked illegally while I ran in to order and came back out to the car and ate/drank on the go. It was a full house inside and outside - which is good for business. It was around 9pm after the Superbowl. : ) I found this by accident because 7Leaves on Chapman/Harbor did not sell Popcorn Chicken at all and 7Leaves on Trask/Euclid stopped making food at 7pm when I called to check! I was in town tonight for an event and on a mission to find Popcorn Chicken after the Superbowl! LOL. This particular corner has changed so many owners and names in the last decade. I was glad Summerfield has lasted longest and business is thriving. Mostly young folks hanging out and working on their laptops. I missed those study nights - sometimes.

I like their spice and their popcorn chicken actually has the Taiwanese flavor unlike other places that just tastes like chicken nugget. Their boba drinks are nothing special and have a syrup taste instead of fresh tea and fruit juice. I always come back here for their popcorn chicken and fries, which are the best in OC imo.

This place is one of my go to study spots. Lots of outlets and great drinks and snacks. Truly a gem. The only issue I have with it is, for whatever reason, they have two different sets of music playing and you can hear both strongly which makes it really difficult to focus. They have speakers for the staff behind the counter and then speakers for the customers in the main area but both are loud and it causes some cognitive dissonance. They even sometimes have live piano, but you can't hear the pianist because other music is blasting from behind the counter. Interesting choice there, but other than that it's a great bubble tea shop.

Came here at 12AM with my co-workers after a closing shift. The vibes were very positive and the ambiance was amazing! There were a lot of people either doing work or just hanging out. The drinks were good too! I got the Moonlight Milk Tea and if you're an Earl Gray fan this is really tasty! I will definitely come back again. This place has wifi too and is open until 1AM which is great for late hour munchies. The workers were also full of charisma and all around I had a fun time with my friends because of this place :)

Summerfield is such a gem. nestled away in a small little street corner in Garden Grove, this location has a small parking lot that gets packed the later in the day it gets. inside, though, there's plenty of seating! i went two days in a row (Thursday + Friday) at ~4pm, and alot of the tables are taken already. i usually end up sitting at the long high table, and that's perfectly okay with me because the table has outlets built into it so i can always keep my devices charged. because this location gets packed, though, 1) don't expect to sit alone if you're sitting at this shared high table because people will sit wherever it's open bc it gets that packed! and 2) because it gets packed: it's pretty noisy. i wouldn't say this is the spot to go to if you're sensitive to noise or looking for a quiet spot. i wear my noise canceling headphones which help a lot, but sounds will still leak through so keep that in mind! as for drinks/food, i am a HUGE fan of the Aloha! i had that yesterday, and today i had the Rainbow tea which was also delicious!! their fruit teas are definitely A+. i haven't tried the food here yet, but a lot of people were ordering the popcorn chicken and it smelled divine. next time!! so all in all, this spot is great but i do wish it could be a bit quieter bc i would love to do work here until later but it gets too noisy. with all that being said though, i will def be back at Summerfield again soon! :-) follow @chrystaleats on ig for more good recs/reviews!

Super bummed out! Came here for a late night Thai Tea/Milk Tea and was so let down! Unfortunately i didn't try the drink till I was in the car and half way home or I would have came back and asked for another one. Didn't even taste close to a Thai Tea. I know they were super busy but no excuse for making a bad bad Thai Tea!!!!

I've been here a few times and every time has been popular specifically at night. Parking is somewhat easy, but can get hard if it's more crowded than usual. There is usually a line to order but it moves pretty fast. I ordered the Rainbow Snow and substituted the Rainbow Jelly to Honey Boba, and it was super delicious. If you're coming here at night and need a non-caffeinated drink, this is the one! Staff were also nice and friendly! I absolutely love how this place is a prime spot to get some boba and do work. Would definitely recommend!
