Our first visit here was in 2012, then returned again in 2014. I wrote a review back then and when we came back last year, it was time for an update. Then come to find out that this place has closed. Does it even matter now? It's like screaming towards the wind as it will be futile. OK, I'll keep it short and sweet. To be honest, I'm writing this review for the Yelp Challenge 2020. Goal is to write 100 reviews by end of the year so every little bit counts, including updates. You can stop reading now as I already accomplished my goal for the day. It's already evening so I have been procrastinating. To be real, I was a bit disappointed when we returned since we had fond memories of this place. You can still have AYCE for $15.99, which is a bargain for 2019. Options included Beef Briskets, Bulgogi, Black Pork Belly, Garlic Pork Belly, Wine Pork Belly, Curry Pork Belly, Paper Pork, Marinated Chicken, Hot Spicy Chicken Soup and a choice of Egg, Soft Tofu or Soybean Soup. If you wanted more options, they had the $20.99 and $25.99 that included more luxurious cuts of meats and seafood. We obviously chose the first one as the options were more than sufficient for lunch. But the quality of the meat was now different, particularly the Beef Brisket. Once it was cooked, it was dry, tough and crumbly. It didn't retain the tender texture that one is accustomed to. This means the quality is a cheaper cut of meat. Understandable for the price range, but comparing it to our previous experience is a no contest. Service here was also cold. It's as if they stopped caring and have gone apathetic. It was an awkward interaction as I was enthusiastically telling them that we were here years ago but the response we received was like, meh...whatever. Damn, that's cold. This was last year, before the pandemic so maybe they were already going downhill. Not the very least surprised that it's now permanently closed. The the cooking is fantastic and the stuff is attentive and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we enjoy a lovely time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

I'm really hate leaving bad reviews but... Lunch price as of June 25, 2020 is $27. First and last time coming to this place. Lettuce tastes dirty, and there was mold on our cheese corn.

I go to this unique place from time to time since I enjoy the ambiance that is exist in this restaurant. The staff is extremely loving and qualified. The service is certainly quick. Needless to say, the food they cook is first-rate. I have been there often and I was always pleased. The rate is honest. I suggest this place to to all.

Came here for lunch, the interior is pretty big. You get a lot of side dishes about 8 or so. Lunch menu is somewhat limited. We order the brisket, bulgogi, and garlic pork belly. I have to say that other than the bulgogi, none of the other meats had much taste to them. The meat was decent but nothing to rave about. Garlic pork belly did not have any garlic flavor. Everything else (tofu soup, salad, side dishes) was decent. Service was nice, and they have ice cream for dessert. If you want some quick korean bbq for lunch this place is good, but no kalbi. One last thing, the bathroom wasn't dirty, but the floors were really really sticky, so I think that says something. Between 3-4 stars.
