No one can match the professionalism of their team and the taste of their food. Jay’s Catering exceed expectations every time I’ve used them for an event or party.

My husband and I had our wedding at Hangar 21 South - a Jay's Catering venue and the food was phenomenal! Their menu selection is quite wide. They have different menu's to cater for different flavors such as a Latin, American, etc. And they do either plated or buffet style! We did buffet style and did their American BBQ wedding. For the appetizers we did mini corn dogs and gorgonzola and caramelized onion bruschetta. For our entrees we did BBQ chicken, beef brisket and a tri-tip carvery, and for the accompaniments we did mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cesar salad and corn bread with honey butter. The tri-tip carvery was really nice because someone was hand carving tri-tip. Our wedding was almost 3 weeks ago and people are still talking about how good the food was!The bar was also of course a hit! The bar package we chose has the bar open from cocktail hour to an hour before the event ends and although our guests didn't pay for their drinks it wasn't technically "unlimited" because they could run out of certain things. But nonetheless, they ask you in advance if there are certain drinks you would need to have heavier stocked if you know your guests have a preference. And their signature drinks are delicious too! They offer tastings at part of the package, I suggest going to them!Working with outside vendors - I highly suggest selecting from their list of preferred vendors when looking into wedding coordinators, dance floors and lighting and stuff. These are companies that have worked with their venue before and will know what they're doing for set up :) We did want to use a different lighting company but they said for liability purposes, they couldn't use lighting companies they weren't already contracted with. :( It ended up working out though because we ended up doing very simple lighting and it came out amazing. For wedding coordinators, I highly suggest Heidi Hou with The Fete Collective. She has an incredible team and they go above and beyond to execute your day. My husband and I felt so taken care of. We felt like we didn't even have to think because she handled absolutely everything, and STILL made sure we had drinks and appetizers during cocktail hour while we were taking pictures, AND had food waiting for us at our table. She is amazing at what she does, and you can tell she loves it.Our event coordinator, Casey, was amazing! She was very responsive to all our questions. And after our venue visit, they drafted a contract to show how much the grand total would be with the details we chose according to our headcount so we wouldn't be blindsided by pricing. They give you a complimentary 2 week soft hold while you make your decision and Casey made herself available during this time to answer all questions and make any additional changes for me. She responded very quickly and she kept me on track for all my deadlines. I highly suggest working with her :)

Good food and open bar was the priority for my wedding at Serra Plaza, and Jay's catering did not disappoint! Arielle was my event specialist and I was in contact with her for about a year. She was very responsive and answered all my questions by email and phone. I appreciated that she was easy to reach, and I enjoyed her very pleasant and helpful attitude (especially when the nerves started to kick in as it got closer to my wedding date). I received a lot of compliments from my guests on the hors d'oeuvres and dinner food. My personal faves were the beef wellington and short rib. Bartenders and all the staff were great and attentive too. Arielle had also helped me with ordering morning food delivery to the bridal suite as well! Highly recommend the palm sandwiches... everything was delicious and nothing makes me happier than a satisfied stomach.

Jay's Catering catered several events for us the weekend of our wedding and did an excellent job. The food was great and they were easy to work with.Based on that experience I thought they'd be our go-to caterer indefinitely, but I was disappointed with their customer service in my last interaction with them. We placed a small catering order (~10 breakfast burritos, ~12 muffins) with them for a small birthday party, but we had to cancel the party 2-days before the event because the kids got sick. When I reached out about canceling the order for a refund or credit for a future event, I got a short email within minutes that said no refunds or credits were possible and I could pick my order anyway.

I'm copying and pasting the exact email I sent to Lauren with Jay's Catering... Michael and I wanted to say THANK YOU for all your help from the day we inquired for Hangar21 until our wedding day. You were such a great help through out the whole process, we very much appreciated your patience and attentiveness! Everything was PERFECT and just how we wanted it all to be. The food and drinks were delicious, everyone is still raving about it! The entire staff and bartenders were all very professional and helpful. Again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your help making our wedding planning experience a 10/10!

Our wedding felt like a dream and we keep talking about how perfect the day was. We were open and honest with Brittany Klein from the start about how we were nervous about the cost, but we have absolutely no regrets and feel every penny was worth it. The Grand Gimeno was the picture perfect backdrop. Brittany and Jay's went above and beyond, and made everything feel truly special. She worked with us to get creative on maximizing our budget while not compromising the experience.

We had our wedding at Grand Gimeno in August 2023 and we got SO lucky to be paired with Lauren MacLeod to help us through the whole process!! First of all, she has an aura about her that makes people feel at ease and is very attentive to you. She was prompt and thorough with her emails, accommodating and so patient with all of my questions (even when I already asked the same question in a previous email). The venue itself was beautiful! We had our ceremony outdoors and the reception inside. If you do book Grand Gimeno, you must get the pizza during cocktail hour! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a slice as we were running around taking pictures but all of my guests loved it so much. One of the big reasons we also chose Grand Gimeno was because Jay's Catering included everything in a package -- from food/drinks, tables/chairs, staffing and more. It just made planning that much easier. When you meet Lauren, she instantly feels like a friend you've known but also professional at the same time. She seriously was amazing and really did make the whole wedding planning less stressful for me. If you're looking to have your next event or get married at one of Jay's venues, I would 100% recommend choosing Lauren as your event specialist as she will make your experience easy and guide you the entire way step by step, all with a great smile!!

We had our wedding at Grand Gimeno on 9/8/2023. When we first toured the venue, my husband and I knew that this was somewhere special. The upkeep of the building was amazing and the bridal/groom suite really sold us. We worked with Brittany Klein from the team, and she was very helpful with all our questions and is overall a super sweet person. During the wedding day, the team at Jay's really made it a point to make us feel special. After the ceremony, the waiters brought us our drinks and made sure we were well fed the whole night. Our guests really enjoyed the food as well! Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and jays played a huge part in that! Thank you to everyone on the team!

We had our wedding in August 2022 at Grand Gimeno. My fiancé at the time looked at so many wedding venues prior and later came across Jay's variety of venues which all had different styles to fit different couples. Jay's catering team helped us tour all the venues and what each venue had to offer, pretty straight forward. BUT we fell in love with Grand Gimeno which was their luxury venue at the time. A venue that finally fit both our styles. We loved how the venue was versatile, timeless, practical being it is in a tourist area with hotels near by and convenient for our local(almost 300 guests), just a few perks to say the least. I'd say Jay's is partial all inclusive and partial open vendor which has its pros and cons when it comes to budgeting but with a venue like that, I am not surprised that they want to preserve the space and keep vendors they trust. Casey Golding was our event coordinator and she was so great to meet our needs and budget. She was willing to see what they could do if we had any issues. It doesn't hurt to ask is what I learned! She was super sweet and patient with my 100s of emails! Our guests were predominantly Asian, so we used one of their preferred Asian caterers, but we did order desserts through them which didn't disappoint, but you ABSOLUTELY have to get the Kouign-Amann which were out quick along with the late night eats of their mini pizzas. Also, had we not used the Asian vendor we did enjoy their food at one of their complimentary events that had their catering. Overall, Jay's has great catering and has a the flexibility to have to be inclusive and open vendor. No complaints with staff. They were all very helpful, friendly and for the most part willing to meet most needs if they could. It will get pricey but I've also learned you just have to adjust budget in other areas. For us it was convenient for us and our guests and for the most party checked off all our wedding must haves. My advice is just ask if you have any concerns especially if you're worried about any cultural concerns. After all you are paying a lot of money for this special day. BEST DAY EVER, so far =)

Jay’s Catering at Hangar 21 is a unique wedding venue to wow your guests with delicious food and helicopter rides. Jay’s menu has a wide range of food and you won’t even go wrong with ordering from the Classic. The bao buns, the beef wellington and the chicken and waffles for hors d'oeuvres were a hit. For the entree, it was the veggie rotolo bolzano. Besides the food being phenomenal, what stood out for us was the excellent service. Some pass-tray servers went out of their way to serve food to other guests during cocktail hour (like the mother-in-law) whom were not able reach it at first. The bar manager, Matt, also made our guests feel special. Lauren, our event specialist, was very patient with us officially booking Jay’s for our wedding (since living on the East Coast), but she closely communicated with us and answered our questions in a timely manner even with the time difference. She helped guide our cocktail, buffet and late night snack menu, she set up our helicopter grand entrance with the venue manager and she was flexible with last minute additions, like outdoor heaters. We love that Jay’s also has a wide array of venue additions and we went with the ceremony backdrop that completed the look in Hangar 21’s ceremony space. Overall, our experience with Jay’s Catering was nothing but the best.
