If you go here for their cajun boil, don't. They changed their recipe and none of their spicy seasonings have any taste or heat. All the manager had to say about it was that he didn't make the changes, and for sure didn't want to make any attempt to correct the situation.
I arrived at the hotel late at night, so I took an Uber to get some shrimp.The shrimp were fresh and tasted good. There was a fair amount of food, and I wish I had eaten it again.

Kid-friendliness: Not just seafood on the menu. Our server "face" was so wonderful that we specifically asked for him when we came back a second time. Amazing place for the whole family. We had 2 adults, an eight year old adventurous eater and a 20 month old pickier eater.

A wonderful experience here. Tiffany was our waitress and she was amazing. Very friendly and took care of us. Perfect for a birthday. They encourage the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday to the birthday person so it makes it more special. When you order special drinks they sing things. Very fun atmosphere and will be back. Crab and food was very yummy and fresh. I was surprised.
Cute place, great service, good food, a little pricey.Worth checking out.

DO NOT GET THE ROCKEFLLER, was horrible. One or two had some cheese and Spinach, most were just oysters. Very disappointing. The rest of the food was ok. Server was great. Crab legs were amazing. I really enjoyed the nachos. The picture of the Rockefeller is the only good one out of 6
Visited the Garden Grove Joe's Crab Shack today and had a great dinner. First of all, our server "ANGELA" was absolutely terrific. She was very sweet and friendly. And very attentive. We got the cheesy garlic bread, the shrimp and crab dip, the fried fish, and the coconut shrimp. Everything was really good!

Overall the place for me is about the theme. It is cute with all the decor on the walls but I will say my meal was rather tasteless. I had the East Coast Platter and it just had no flavor even when I used sauce. The manager was nice and very attentive so I appreciate ther service. Overall I would pick other places to go but if you come here I hope that you enjoy your experience!

My waitress was very demanding that I put up a review after some pretty awful service, I think her name was Christine. I left out of there quickly without a copy of my receipt cuz there was another photographer asking me for even more money. This is definitely a Disney restaurant, always demanding more money. Despite the huge dent in my wallet, a great time. Woo.
