In terms of price, this place is decent in comparison to other Asian seafoody places. What was disappointing was the house lobster special as I had high expectations (I mean, when someone calls a dish house special - you would expect it to be really good). The lobster was well prepared - tasted fresh and succulent but the seasoning as blah; some kind of blend of sweet and salty that just didn't mix well. Kinda put a damper on rest of the meal.

I unfortunately thought the most recent reviews on the taste of the food was untrue. I ordered the orange chicken, Mongolian beef, lo mein, and white rice. The white rice and lo mein was the best out of them all. The beef lacks flavor and slightly chewy and the orange chicken is soggy with dry pieces and no flavoring to be found. For the price you're paying it's disappointing the main entrees were inedible.

Clean place, decent food but way too overpriced that's why its empty. Staff can be attentive and more direct with prices.

I went here for my parents 25th anniversary as it was recommended by a friend, it was really disappointing. The staff was really nice and friendly, which is the only saving grace for this review. I ordered a number of items and our total was over $300 and for that price I expected more.. edible food. What's worse is the bad food came out first and had ruined the meal by the time we got to anything that might have been half good. The house special squid and salt n pepper pork chop came out first. The squid had broken batter, the sauce was thick and dark and not spread throughout. When you tasted the sauce it was disgustingly salty. We tried to pull the batter off to eat the squid, but that barely made it edible. The salt n pepper pork chop was unevenly seasoned, my mom said it was salty. The small piece I initially ate had no salt. So I got a second piece and it was like someone dumped salt all over it. This was the tone set for my parents 25th anniversary.. great, isn't it? I told the server both dishes were salty right before the lobster and after the soup came out and they just said ok and never did anything about it. The crab and fish maw soup tasted bland, or maybe it was bland because the food we just had was disgustingly salty. My parents appreciated the break from the salt and this was eaten up by the table. The yang chow fried rice was unevenly salted, there were perfect parts and parts where you would just get a salty mouthful. The house special lobster (which was almost 7 pounds) came with noodles. I was scared that this expensive dish would be disgusting since the house special sauce is supposed to be the same as the squid and I my salty comment hadn't even reached the kitchen's ears yet. Thankfully, it wasn't salty, but instead came out on the sweet side (is it supposed to be)? Any place I've had this has it more like a delicious savory gravy, but now I have a sweet coated lobster and noodles for diabetic parents that took a bite and refused any more. Great (sarcasm). So what should have been a memorable day for my parents was ruined by bad seasonings. This was my first visit here and probably my last, it's really disheartening that they didn't seem to care the food that came out was salty (apparently you have to TELL them not to make your food disgustingly salty, wow).

Best lobster with their special house sauce around the Garden Grove area. After we found New Island, thìs will be the only place for lobsters. Other items are exceptionally good too since seen like they don't use old cooking oil like most restaurants.

I love their lobsters with their special sauce, and I trust they cooked my lobsters without being taxes by their chefs.Their lobsters are fresh 10 out of 10 times I ordered to go. Too bad we still not able to dine in due to CV19.

Came by to grab some take out because I was in the area and thinking of their fried tofu. My new favorite, must try, is the house fried fish fillet. Even my partner who doesn't like fish really enjoyed it. A little crispy, salty, garlic. I can't wait to eat my leftovers
