We were served in about two minutes. Best Pho I have ever had in my life.

Didn't have to wait for a table on a Friday night for a party of two. I think if you're a larger party, you may have to wait. Got cha gio, pho tai chin, and a cafe sua da. The cha gio and cafe sua da was nothing special. Not the best I've had, but not bad at all. The star of the show was the broth of the pho. It was very tasty, with no overpowering notes from a singular spice. All the ingredients from the beef in the pho tai, to the vegetables served with the cha gio were very fresh.

For some reasons, it's the best pho joint in little saigon for me: pho tai nam ve always. Cant point to the exact reasons, but the broth, meats, banh pho are just right. The place is old/dirty but if you can look pass that, their pho is the bomb!

Almost one queue up for lunch is worth it, the Pho broth is nicely done with slow cooked meat make it tender and soft especially the oxtails add on is a must have. The food portion is fairly generous with fresh herbs and sauces, highly recommended.

If you are looking for a good, hot noodle place, this is the place to go. There is beef that you can put into your pho and there is veggies you can add in. When me and my family came here, the wait was long but worth it. It was raining that day so this really hit the spot. The staff is so nice and friendly and they are very helpful. The vibe is cool and there are reigns stating that they are a Michigan star restaurant.

I honestly came here for the first time with low-ish expectations since I kept hearing from others that this place is overhyped, but I really enjoyed the pho here! I ordered a small pho tai. The broth was super flavorful and I really liked that it was spice-forward. The meat was tender and the noodles were perfectly al dente. The portion size was enough to fill me up as well. Service was prompt, and keep in mind that hot tea is complementary here! Parking was a little hard to find. The small lot they had was full so we had to park on the street. But overall, 10/10 would come here again!

Came here with my family on a week day for dinner. We were able to get seats for 6 ppl without having to wait. I don't get the big lines for this place when passing this place before. The broth is light but without the deep broth taste. It was a clean taste and meats were tender. We got a side of beef balls and it was good in texture but the taste was off. Quick service and nothing special for a pho place. My daughter got bun rieu oc (crab paste with escargot noodle soup) which was good, but again lack the deep umami flavor. Large bowl portions when without option for size selection. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

The best pho I have had is from here. They use a different broth for chicken pho and it is just as delicious as the beef broth. The oxtail is high quality. The service is hit or miss, one man (who seems like an owner) is always very kind. Some of the employees act like they do not want to be there. If you order to-go, you must purchase at least a medium sized pho, why? The building needs a little maintenance, but the food and price make up for it. Highly recommend.Parking: If it is busy, there will be no parking spots available. The lot is very tight and sometimes has suspicious activity.

0 stars if I could. We've tried many Pho restaurants in OC, and this one is definitely the worst. The broth tasted depressing. It's like plain water, no flavor at all. The medium size costs $16, but elsewhere, you could get a larger size that also tastes way better for the same price. Don't waste your money or your stomach space eating here.

Hailing from the 626, I have a high opinion of Pho. I found Pho 79 enjoyable, giving it a 8 out of 10. Though the broth was slightly salty, the oxtail was fantastic. While I'd suggest trying it, I wouldn't make a special trip there again; I'll probably stick with Pho Pasteur in the SGV.

Very mediocre pho broth. The tendon and meat were good. Not really sure how they have so many awards for pho though? Cha gio egg rolls were prob the best thing we had. Service was non existent.
