This is my mom's go to place for pho and it never fails! The broth is so hearty and full of flavor yet clean at the same time. Each time we've visited has been very consistent and the service is kind. I went for a pick up order right after opening during covid so I'm not sure if they have in door dining, but they do enforce masks and have implemented measures to protect customers and workers!

They have reopened!!! I don't know how long they have been open for but was supper excited that they reopened. Went yesterday and got the filet mignon pho and is as good as before. They do have a limited menu due to COVID but it's still a decent menu with many options. Please everyone go and support this business looks like a mom and pop place with great food great people. They did finally update their phone numbers so you can call in your order.

This review is based off the 4 items I have tried so far. 1) garlic butter chicken wings - BOMB (takes about 15 min so plan accordingly) 2) milk tea - good but on the sweeter side so you can ask for more half and half if you wish 3) rare steak pho - I got this to go and it was still good. I like the quality of meat and the broth wasn't too salty 4) pork egg rolls - so crispy and good! I love that there's vermicelli in there :P sweet and sour sauce, a must! *service was friendly! It is most likely family owned :) I attend nail school next door so this place is awesome on days I don't bring my own lunch! I don't think you'll be disappointed. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu when I have a bigger appetite!

This place is amazing!!!! My all time favorite is the shrimp pho, the broth is the best. The prices are just right and the portions will not disappoint. Its super clean and the workers are all very friendly Best part I work walking distance

Still one of my favorite go-to places. In January, my family switched to a vegan diet. I LOVE the tofu egg rolls, tofu bun bowl and tofu spring rolls. The staff is so accommodating and friendly.

I'd rate it lower for the service (I had to be the waitwr myself, they complained when I asked for a chair to put on the side bc it would block an unused table, they asked if they could get back the bowls we were about to use, place orders myself and ask for water from the kitchen myself, etc. Even though it was not busy at all). However the food is fantastic and perhaps the best Vietnamese food I've had, and it's clean. The quantity, or amount of food, is somewhat smaller than other places, though.

This place has great food. I have been coming here for well over a year now and I have never once been disappointed. After trying several Pho places in the area and being let down, I was thrilled to have found Pho 8888. I love chicken Pho, I get it almost every time I go. They also have many other dishes that are just as good. They greet you with a warm hello and a smile every time. They play music but not too loud, which is nice. If you are looking for a legit Pho spot then try thin other dishes that are just as good

Fresh fresh fresh & delicious! It is located at Garden Grove blvd corner. This is my second time. I am a pho mania. Pho 888 tastes very fresh. Price is good also. 5/5 stars!

There are so many pho options in Garden Grove that I never ventured out past our two "go to" spots. Pho 888 will now take a top spot alongside to Pho 45 who has those delightful fat noodles. Pho 888's tripe, meatball, brisket, etc combo is phenomenal. The tripe is cut into ribbon thin slices so it's really easy to chew and gives the dish a great texture. There are miscellaneous large pieces of tendon that people might be grossed outt by but if you're ordering this to begin with...the tendons are tender and delightful. We also ordered the vermicelli with beef and bbq pork. Both were given thumbs up by my MIL & Hubs. The egg rolls were perfectly fried. Definitely flagged to come back & I highly recommend if you aren't sure which pho place to try.

I can't believe I didn't write a review for this place. I came last week and ordered A1 spring rolls to share and P2. Special combination for myself. The pho I ordered had a little bit of everything. For really hungry people there is the superbowl which is huge! Whole family loves it here and is one of our favorite pho restaurants. Worth checking out when your in the area.
