We had a very nice experience at Saigon Photolab. We had our passport photo taken and the staff was professional and take our photo throughly. Staff even help straighten our hair, check on how to smile for best passport photo, let us see our photo beforehand to choose the best photo. Highly reccomended for passport photo taken here.

We had the best experience at Saigon Photo Lab getting passport photos for both my 10 month old baby and husband. The photographer was professional and even let us approve our photos before he printed them. The service was fast and courteous. Would highly recommend coming here for your passport photos! Initially I wasn't planning on posting this review and was going to move on from this experience, however I am a paying customer and people should not have to deal with anything similar to what I dealt with.I came into to get my passport pictures done and the process itself was very quick and efficient. I paid $33 for 4 pictures with editing and waited about 45 minutes before leaving. My 1-star review is for how they treated me. After having my photo taken and the editing process began, the owner and his wife started to say that I would be prettier if I lost some weight. That I had a nice face, it's just a shame that I was fat. The gentleman proceeded to give me a free 4x6 of the before and after shots of the photo editing as MOTIVATION for me to lose weight. He also mentioned that I'm fat because I eat too much and never exercise. I did not know this business was a doctor's clinic as well, 2-in-1! I felt so incredibly uncomfortable in the establishment, it was like I was a little girl at the kids' table again being picked apart by my aunts and uncles. I defaulted to being appreciative of the terrible things they were saying to me because it's how I was raised. I should've up and left right there but this couple doesn't know better. They believed what they were saying was helpful because that's how Asian culture is, or at least how I've lived with it my entire life. I understand, I'm not conventionally attractive but it's free to keep your mouth shut ESPECIALLY when you're providing a SERVICE to a PAYING customer. I am not your family nor a child looking to pay their respects to their elders. I will not be coming back here or recommending it to my friends and family despite the decent work they do here, but if you fit into the beauty standard, you'll probably have a great time here.
