You know the restaurant you've passed a million times, but have never gone inside? It's been around for as long as you remember? So it's gotta be good, right? So my friend grew up nearby & her family has always gone across the street. How can two Chinese restaurants survive right across the street from one another? Well, because the food is good. Very good Cantonese style Chinese food. We shared: beef chow fun(dry) Really good. We perhaps have found a good chow fun place since our standby,TG garden has closed. Nice bouncy noodles. Tender beef with great flavor. That's what's missing at most places. The amount of soy sauce, oyster sauce etc. The salt & pepper squid was nice and crispy, not greasy. A thin batter coating. White pepper brought to the table. So I'm guessing the salt & pepper is for the diner to add. Salt & pepper can really be subjective. Same for the salt & pepper pork chop. I added white pepper to my serving. Light batter with green chili slices & green onion. Very good. The sautéed ong choy was very good too. Nice and garlicky. Perhaps a bit too much oil though. Had to ask first containers a few times. But that's classic Chinese restaurant. A friend who is Chinese tells me, you need to be very assertive at Chinese restaurants. Cuz they're very busy, kind of understaffed(?). Be that squeaky wheel. Overall, we're glad we came. We'll be back to our new (old) neighborhood Chinese restaurant.

Love to go here for some Chinese food which is good and affordable. They have the lunch specials with the veggies, meat and seafood galore.

We sat down and needed to flag down a server to order and get any table services. The hot and sour soup was better than average. Hot tea and rice are not extra charge as in some places. We ordered the hong kong style (dry) beef chow fun. There was little beef and what pieces of beef were stir-fried crispy. Flavor was okay but the protein portion was disappointing. We also ordered the basil clams. This was okay but there was sand on several of the clams. The best dish was the steamed whole fish with ginger an scallions. The steamed fish dish took the longest to come out as we were warned. All three dishes were on the lunch menu for $15 each which isn't exactly a bargain. I have not been here for over 20 years and I won't probably be back any time soon.

Updated review. Came here on Saturday night to celebrate my son's birthday dinner because he wanted lobster! Expensive taste buds lol We love the family style entrees and sharing what we don't normally order with our friends and family. We ordered the House Special lobster that was 37 dollars a pound, house special live crab 19 dollars a pound. Salt and pepper fish filet, salt and pepper pork chop, fried tofu, stir fried garlic pea sprout, Combination fried rice and the honey walnut shrimp. They were all delicious and so savory! I absolutely love it here. We come here all the time with our family - table seats 7 to 10 ppl, so it's a great place for sharing and trying new items on the menu. My family love ordering the same things, but this time around with our friends, we got to try some different dishes. They did not disappoint. It's not too fancy or the best looking inside, but the food is always, always on point! When you're surrounded by your friends and family enjoying delicious Chinese cuisine, that is all that matters!

Says dim sum is served until 3pm. Made the drive there and they said it's 2pm. If your website is outdated then it's probably a good idea to update it.

This was our belated Valentines Day dinner. The lobster was fantastic. Cooked beautifully, and so much flavor! There is no way to eat this delicately, but it's oh so worth being a little messy.

First time was good, second time no: food was cold, did not taste good. Waitress wiped her hand on my napkin! OMG! Disappointing. Bathrooms are very dirty. Whole place is dirty. We won't go back again. It seems like it is Chinese food made for non-Chinese people.

Came here for lunch and it didn't disappoint! The food was ok it could have been tastier! Needed hot sauce and a little soy which they never brought to the table! The service was not so good but you go for the food not the service! The place was dated and needed updates! It has been 15 years and maybe not going back! Times have changed!
