As we landed ANA(Santa Ana Airport), first thing we craved was the Korean food. I managed to use Google maps to search for nearby Korean food, but Soondae(Korean Sausage) caught my attention first. It really wasn’t only the review score, but the awareness level of this place from the locals. It’s conveniently located in H Mart (Korean Supermarket), but it’s well known for making its own Soondae and Jokbal. There are more than 3 options for the size offering and it will fit whether you visit as a solo or with big family.Soondae, not only was it fresh, but its Gan(Liver) was also very fresh! (Talk about being moisty instead of the usual ‘dry’ ones you come across)All the side dishes (Lettuce, Jalapeño, Garlics) were on points and the staff were readily available on spot to re-fill at any given time.I highly recommend for those who have love for Jokbal and Soondae, but also those who are seeking for a new Korean food/menu to try out.

Nice ladies and food taste so good! We ate in the food court area which was okay but the bathroom is kind of bad. Other than that the spicy pork feet sauce was so good my boyfriend enjoyed it so much. This was his second time eating pork feet ever in his life and he loved it. But they are very spicy!!

Did the owner change? There is a big difference from today and 2.5 weeks ago. I have been coming here for 3 years since I moved to the area. The bossam meat quality is a different lower quality. The banchan is significantly reduced to less than half. I also got the 얼큰순대국밥 which was weak, kimchi was like 4 pieces, black rice smelled old. The price is expensive but the owner gave a lot of tasty banchan which was worth it. The owner wasnt there today. I will have to find another bossam jjokbal place now.

The flavor and prep of the jokbbal is like we're in korea. The side dishes are sooo good and compliments the entree. Surprised to see less then 100 reviews here. Highly recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood.

Was craving Korean but didn't want the heaviness of bbq, so bossam sounded like the perfect choice. Navigated to So Moon Nan Jokbal and was surprised for a sec that it was located inside the H-Mart food court--heads up, if anyone else was like me and stumbled across this randomly from maps/Google/Yelp. The bossam is said to be enough for two to three people, according to the menu;but my partner and I left with enough leftovers for another meal for both of us--generous portions would be an understatement here! The pork belly was cooked to perfection, and we were given an awesome selection of kimchi to go along with our meal. Although you're dining in a humble grocery store food court, I think that adds to the charm, authenticity and overall dining experience. My hot take: Mister Bossam's bossam doesn't come close to So Moon Nan Jokbal's! Will definitely come back!

Love the spicy and regular jokbal as well as side dishes. The marinated perilla leaves and jalapeños were amazing. 3 stars cause we found multiple dead fruit flies between lettuce.
