No wait on Wednesday evening. Great pork BBQ grilled to perfection for you. Banchan was also great. The only sad thing was that due to the rise in the price of green onions, they no longer have green onion salad...

Been here twice. Quality of meat is amazing. Very authentic - you will feel like you are eating in Korea. :) Side dishes they bring out and SERVICE also are very good. Little descriptions of how they cared the meat is also a nice touch. Can't go wrong with this place. It's about 30 min from my place, so it's a bit of a drive for us, but we will be back for sure.

When it comes to pork, Sookdal is easily one of my favorite KBBQ places! Our go-to orders are Combo B and C, with an order of the Chilled Kimchi Noodles. However my two favorite meats are the Pork Belly (wet-aged) and Pork Neck (Jowl). The wait can sometimes be hit-or-miss. In some instances I've been seated upon arrival, but have also had to wait over 30minutes other times. Nothing special in terms of service, but the staff at Sookdal do prepare the food and do all the cooking for you, letting you know when ready to eat. The meat is simply delicious. The combo orders allow you to try a variety and you can't really go wrong with any of the meats here. Combo sizes are good for 2-4 people so it may be a bit more difficult coming with a larger party. We always add an order of the cold noodles to share as well. Refreshing and a change of pace with all the meat!

My husband's favorite pork belly place. It's not ayce but the quality is up to par with korea's meat. The way they cut the pork belly is pretty thick compared to the general thinner kinds. It's super juicy and tender. We really like the kimchi and the kimchi soup. It's more savory than the other type of kimchi we had. We come back whenever we're in the area. Totally worth the trip!

Sookdal is one of the best kbbq spots for Pork Belly. This has got to be the closest to Korea I have had so far in OC. 5/5 spot

The meat here was really below quality. I don’t understand how they have such high ratings. If I would to order something again, it would be the ribeye but for 49$ is literally crazy. I could get the same exact piece from Stater Bros for half that price. Their skirt meat is inedible from being so chewy and tough. Brisket is cut into spaghetti strips.. we also we weren’t finished order and they dropped off the check. smh I would never come back.

Food was great, meat quality is phenomenal, order the risotto you won’t regret it.The service on the other hand? I get that you want to churn and burn customers to maximize your profits, but at what cost? Reducing the experience of your paying patrons? TLDR: we were rushed into leaving the restaurant. Even before we had finished our food/drinks, the bill was dropped off at our table - a great way to ruin the appetite. We were then asked to leave quite literally the moment we paid and put down our cups and utensils, because there were other people waiting for a table. Poor experience where all 8 of us left with a bitter taste in our mouths even though the food was delicious. Yeah it’s cool to make more money, but at the cost of churning customers like it’s a fast food restaurant or something? We will unfortunately not be back.
