Writing this review while waiting for my order, because I gotta pay my respects to this wonderful small business 1 day before they officially close down. It's a sad moment in life when healthy, high quality businesses have to shut down because of inflation and high costs for high quality! The drinks are delicious, lower in sugar and healthier than most boba tea shops. The variety of what they sell here in the store includes soy pudding, milk, and tofu snacks. Everything delicious! Plenty of parking in the strip mall. Be patient as lines are busy due to the overwhelming support as the close down. They are doing orders in batches. I'm wishing the future if this business well, hoping they can maybe even be a good tr

Unfortunately, I found out through my Yelp friend that Soy Good is closing down on 3/6 due to rising costs of goods and supply chain issues. This is the only boba shop in the area that specializes in vegan drinks. I love their unique concept of incorporating the traditional tofu pudding dessert with their drinks which are all soy based. Being lactose intolerant, I love that I can enjoy the drinks without getting an upset stomach. I've tried the drinks Jade Bliss and Yin Yang Twins both of which were good. The pudding and other add ons made the drinks fun to drink. As opposed to drinking regular boba, I do feel better about drinking boba at Soy Good since there are beneficial nutrients in soy beans such as protein, b vitamins, fiber etc. I wish the shop owners and employees all of the best in their future goals. It makes me so sad to see a business with a great concept like this go. Hopefully in the future, Soy Good can re-open when the economy is in a better state.

You really have to love soy milk before ordering. My husband does not like soy milk but was willing to try their Vietnamese coffee with soy. He didn't like the beany flavor of the soy milk. I had the mung bean with soy milk. It's pretty good; sweet with the texture of mung bean. Prices for drinks were $5 to $6 which seemed fair.

A bitter-sweet ending to an amazing concept!! Soy Good is a vegan boba shop that located closer to the corner of Brookhurst and Chapman, right across Chuze Fitness. Parking is structured in a one-way style, and it can be tight during dinner rush hours since there are other restaurants in the small area. It is not very well-lit at night. I often came here for their Purple Marble and Major Matcha drinks, those never went wrong at any times. I love their soy pudding, very smooth and not overly sweet. Smooth Jas was good for those who wanted a more standard boba drink. It was an interesting combination with jasmine tea and soy milk. It was weird the first time I tasted it. But I grew to like it over time. Service was usually very fast and efficient. Sadness came when the shop announced their last goodbye on an Instagram post a couple days ago. A part of me just broke into pieces!! They will be closing down this place for good by the first week of March. We will never know if they ever decide to start it over again at a later time when the economy is more stable. But at the mean time, I wish they will have a wonderful last week that leaves nothing but good vibes and unforgettable memories. Thank you for every creative mind that contributes a huge part in empowering those who always enjoy a good soy-based dessert. Salute!!

I have never been here before bust the customer service is immaculate! Tristan served me and I'm telling you...it was amazing. I got the soymates mung bean drink and it was better than I thought! I also got the Thai drink and the Taro for loved ones and they really enjoyed them. Not to mention Soy Good's taste in music! ? They really won me over. Thank you Tristan and the other employees at Soy Good!

Great spot for all those who are lack-toes-ant-hollerant such as myself!! All drinks are made with soy milk which is what I prefer when getting any milk substitutions. The top drinks are all filled with so many delicious toppings. The Major Matcha was my first drink to try and it comes with boba, jelly and other toppings. Subtle matcha flavor. I also got the Smooth Jas which comes with boba, jelly, small tapioca balls and other goodies. I prefer a strong tea flavor which didn't get but great spot overall. All drinks were ordered less sweet but tasted overly sweet still.

This is a must visit every time I visit socal ? soy products(goods) made from scratch, and an attention to detail on their menu offerings. My only gripe is that.... it's 400 miles away from me. :(

While recently visiting SubVegan sandwich shop in Garden Grove, the owner recommended that we go visit Soy Good which is a vegan beverage restaurant nearby. Before entering the restaurant, I noticed a sign on the door regarding mask wearing from customers. I also appreciated that the restaurant's menu is placed on the window so customers can know what options are available. Upon entering the restaurant, I appreciated that there is signage asking customers to inform staff of any food allergies. Hubby informed the employee of his nut allergy and the employee replied to hubby that the only drink he should avoid the midnight dream since it contains black sesame. After the employee told us this, I ordered a hot cocoa, hubby ordered the soychata deluxe, and sister-in-law ordered the yin Yang twins. As we waited for our drinks, we were impressed by the fact that the restaurant not only offers drinks but also sells tofu snacks, tofu bricks infused with different toppings , and half gallons of freshly made soy milk. The restaurant is well organized and I liked that there is ample indoor and outdoor seating. Our drinks were perfectly made, flavorful and delicious. Hubby throughly enjoyed his soychata deluxe and say he'll be back to order tofu bricks to use for tofu scramble, their sister-in-law said she will definitely be back soon with a goal to try everything in their menu.

Let's be clear. This place is good! It is not too sugary. It is not too watered down or thick. The milk they use is kept in large jugs, then they have a little ice cream looking area where they keep the yogurt/custard things and the boba. It is a small establishment, with a small bar seating area--maybe 5 stools. Then a wall area with a bench and a cool wall painting about being lactose intolerant! So cute. As an aside, I have a sensitivity to dairy. But, cow dairy is a disgusting concept to me. I'm not sure which aspect of soy goods/drinks brings the "omg let's take pics of myself ordering, drinking, waiting, sitting".... In such a small establishment it is too much--read the room. Aside from myself, there were these 2 teens, taking pics, a gentleman waiting for food delivery, and 2 folks who came in for their pickup, and a lady checking the menu. Not the establishments fault of course but just pointing it out. Waiting outside might make more sense. The drink itself, I purchased was the strawberry one. I liked it and would order again! I'm excited to try the rest of the menu! Five stars for the young ladies busting butt trying to keep up with orders. Theyve done a good job and were very kind. 1$ card minimum. I didn't see it posted but when the teen girl forgot to add boba, it was 50c, but she wanted to use her card. 1$ minimum isn't so bad though! Most places are 5$+

Really good and unique soy milk based boba shop! Came in here because I was trying out the vegan Vietnamese restaurant next door and it looked cute. I ordered the Thai Joy with a soy pudding substitute instead of boba and it was delicious!! Can't even tell that it has soy milk in it. Price is average for a boba shop these days. Will definitely be back!! Extra points because it's all vegan!

I came here with a relative of mine and this is our first time. We both really liked the drinks! I had the Midnight Dream and my cousin had the Jade Bliss. We can both taste the soy and it's not too sweet or not too bland for us to drink.

Sooooo good! A unique tea and snack shop for the lactose intolerant. Wish we had one in sgv as this place is 40 mins away. The real winner is their fried tofu! Which is tofu mixed with other ingredients. They have 3 flavors: - plain - mushroom, onion, vermicelli - lemongrass, green onion Get the sampler! Their house made sauce is delicious and I ate tofu for the next two days as the portions were hefty. Make sure to get their tofu pudding. We added the pandan syrup and tapioca sago.

We live several hours away and have found our way here twice in a month! It is the only dairy free boba place we have found and loved. My daughter with a dairy allergy had not had boba in 10 years (since she had an allergic reaction due to cross contamination). This place is legit dairy free as she had NO allergic reaction after. Our favorites so far were the Thai Tea and the Soyberry. Out of the fried tofu, we loved the mushroom & vermicelli....have not yet tried the sundried tomato. Thank you for making dairy free delicious drinks! We will always make a point to come to Soy Good when we are in the LA area!
