I was craving sugarcane juice and haven't found one that hit the spot. This place is near Rodeo 39 plaza so my friends and I wanna try it out. We all got the OG sugarcane and requested kumquat to be added. It's not great but it's also not bad. I think the sugarcane tasted a little too clean as in there wasn't anything that amplified the flavoring. The kumquat usually does a good balance to the sweetness but it didn't blend well together. If you want to get your cravings out of the way, definitely check it out. I personally tried a lot of Nuoc Mia places so it was hard to place this in my top3 favorites.

One of my favorite places to stop in Garden Grove. I love that they have variations of sugarcane coconut. Like if I wanted a basic on I could go to cococane, however they make flavored cococane drinks here. I really enjoyed their mango jasmine flavor and their sugarcane boba. Its extremely clean and the staff is nice.

Although central Orange County (Garden Grove, Westminster, Stanton) has their fair share of Sugarcane drink spots -- this one takes the cake. With its convenient location right outside Planet Fitness (LOL), the Whole Young Coconut -- $6.50 -- is my personal favorite. It's quite a steal given the effort required to crack it open :) Make sure they leave the cap on though, that's where all the meaty bits are!! Yes yes, please make sure to request spoon(s) to clean out the coconut meat when you have downed the refreshing fruit's water. Clutch underrated drink spot in the city of Garden Grove, come visit soon!

We stopped by here late one night when we were in the area and my other favorite sugarcane place was already closed (Cococane). Tallgrass had an extensive menu and they do have some reserved parking right outside. You'll be in and out pretty fast though, so no worries. We ordered a plain sugarcane juice. I do appreciate that it was freshly made in front of us (we saw them pressing the sugarcane). They also didn't fill the entire cup with ice. It might have been the stick of sugarcane used and just bad luck, but the sugarcane juice didn't really taste like much? It tasted very diluted compared to the juices I'm used to.

Came into this place wondering what drinks they had sugarcane drinks and honestly I was not let down. I got the mango jasmine tea and it was good! I was impressed by how well everything tasted and made me want more!

The store is quiet and cute. I love the variety of sugarcane drinks, you just gotta try them out to find your favorite. The only thing that stops me from coming here often is the nightmare of parking in this plaza. It's really just a hassle to get a quick drink. But if you can manage to find a parking spot, then go for it :)

We came here on a whim when we were walking back to our car from eating at Rodeo. It's easy to miss when you're fixated on fighting for a parking spot and then running to feed lol Inside was cute and quiet, the little swings by the entrance could be a cute photo op lol I ordered the OG sugarcane with kumquat and my bf got the Cocoloco. Both were good for sure. We haven't gone back to try the other drinks but I feel like getting something with too many add ons wouldn't be my flavor. I love the classic sugarcane taste too much to mix it with much else lol The staff was also very helpful and gave their fav recommendations to first time customers. Even though we've had sugarcane before, it was nice hearing what was popular and gave a little sense of confidence trying something different. Did I still get my classic OG? Yes. But still.

I got a Aloha Friend drink and this was an underwhelming drink. It was lame because they basically poured me warm pinapple juice from a bottle that was kept outside and a tiny bit of coco water and then a little of sugarcane. Paid 7 bucks for pinapple juice. LAME

I've always been curious about sugar cane juice with kumquat since joining yelp so figured it was a good time to try it when I was in the plaza. Even though this plaza is a nightmare to park at Tallgrass is far enough away from Rodeo39 I had no issue snagging a spot right by the door. Store was nice and the employee friendly. I went with the "OG" classic which is sugar cane juice and kumquats. I also added basil seeds. They had a large variety of other juices that were either sugar cane based or coconut water based. Employee fed long sticks of sugar cane into a industrial sized juicer and my drink was ready in seconds. I thought it was extremely refreshing and the sourness of the kumquats helped cut the sweetness of the sugarcane. I really like basil seeds so that was an easy to sneak in some fiber and omega-3's. I'm glad I could scratch this off my culinary bucket list!

Came here after dinner for a sugarcane drink. I ordered the panda pandan with sugarcane boba and it was GOOD! Perfect amount of sweetness and delicious coconut bits for texture. The boba was chewy and sweetened with sugarcane, so the flavors were cohesive. Very thoughtful touch there. Standard over-the-counter boba shop service and minimalist ambiance. Great stop if you're looking for drinks at Rodeo 39!

If you're a fan of Cococane, then I'd definitely recommend that you check this place out! The drinks are very tasty and refreshing. Tallgrass uses sugarcane juice as their base and because it's mixed in with other juices, the sugarcane flavor isn't too prominent, but it's still refreshing nonetheless. They also juice the sugarcane upon order and you get to see them do it! There are additional toppings such as boba too for an extra charge. It's kind of like a sugarcane boba shop. I tried the Summer Fling w/ basil seeds, coconut bits, and crystal boba, the Coco Loco, and the Panda Pandan. The Summer Fling was a unique drink. It combines sugarcane, watermelon, and mint. I usually don't order watermelon drinks but this one didn't disappoint. The flavors were so well-balanced, the mint was subtle and didn't overpower the other flavors. The Coco Loco is like the original at Cococane, so if you want a similar taste, I'd recommend this. The sugarcane flavor is the strongest in this drink and this drink was actually also my favorite! The Panda Pandan is a great drink if you aren't a huge fan of sweetness-- the sweetness level was just right and the drink is still tasty and thirst-quenching. The ambiance is super cute! It's trendy and casual. It's instagrammable, so you can take some cute pictures inside.

1. The drink tasted delicious as it had a nice silky texture! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a cute wall decor to take photos! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with the drink! 4. Parking can get crowded on the weekends after 11:30 am! Note: There are no tables! Photo: O'Matcha Latte

When I saw this place I was so interested because I love sugarcane. I browsed their menu and saw they had jasmine tea, so I thought I'd try the jasmine tea. But at the start of my order I was already disappointed. They were out of jasmine tea. As I'm trying to figure out what to order, he then says "we're not completely out of jasmine tea it'll just be ready in an hour." I wasn't going to wait an hour for Jasmine tea. I was also bummed because he didn't really offer or mention any other drinks that were popular or a favorite. So I just tried the Pucker up (their passion fruit). After walking away and trying it, came another disappointment. It was warm, there was very little ice, not even enough to make it somewhat cold. I couldn't drink it. It's not what I expected at all.
