BEWARE: This is a ghost kitchen. I had to call them directly to find out. This kitchen resides in a small little yellow building called South Coast Take Out which is where many ghost kitchens have orderable menus, all under one roof.Another takeaway is that Trapshack Kitchen is not under the filter 'American' for some reason when you order on the touchscreen. There was no search function either so you're gonna have to scroll thru the pages of the main menu in order to find it.Now let's get to the review: I ordered a single patty smash burger with a side of fries. The fries got a little soggy on the way back home so I reheated it in the oven to get it nice and crispy again, and the extra wait was well worth it. After finally biting into the burger and taking a bite of those hot crispy French fries, I was pleasantly surprised. The patty wasn't as smashed and crispy as I would have preferred but it was nonetheless a great tasting burger. The biggest takeaway here is that the burger and fries came out to only $10 ($6 for the burger, $4 for the fries). These days, McDonald's charges about the same for a Big Mac and fries which is pretty ridiculous. At Trapshack, you're going to get a much better burger than a Big Mac. So I highly recommend checking this place out in case you're craving a quality burger at a low price.

Don't let the outside of this spot fool you. The food that comes out of that small window is just amazing! These aren't any "normal" breakfast sandwiches. The GF got the Breakfast Smash and loved it! I decided on the Trap Smash and added a egg over easy. BEST decision ever! When that egg yolk broke as i bit into my sammie, ugh, just amazing! Looking forward to trying more from their menu!

Ordered the Breakfast Smash, which comes with a brioche bun, American cheese, sausage patty, an over easy egg, and waffle fries. The waffle fries gave it a nice lil crunchy texture. Service was great, especially for a grab n go spot. Love that they ask you how you want your eggs and that the food is made to order. I will be coming back to try their other items. :)

A literal hole in the wall place, if you weren't looking for it, you would never know it was there. Got the Classic Sando and added mayo. Adding the mayo was a mistake because the sandwich was already greasy, and the mayo did not help. It was greasy and messy but it was still a solid sandwich. Would definitely get this again, but without the mayo. Also got the monte cristo, it was pretty good but even better with the maple syrup. The sandwiches looked small but they were pretty filling. The menu is limited and they are only open Thursdays to Sundays currently.

Trapshack kitchen, as I was sitting here at work, I saw the Garden Amp story on Instagram showcasing some breakfast sandwiches from Trapshack Kitchen, I looked outside my window and saw the exact location, grabbed my keys and walked my hungry big stomach right on over. Located at the Garden Amp, if you are looking at the entrance, to the left you will see the ticket sales office, a small window with a blue paper and then the restrooms. Trapshack is the small window with blue paper also known as their menu. They have only been a week at the time of this review. I first ordered just the breakfast sando with bacon on a brioche bun, than last minute decided to add an order of the monte cristo. On the menu it says both were $10 each, but if i remember my total was under $20 because the worker apologized they may not have change(as I was paying with cash obvi), I grabbed a few extra ones in my wallet and said keep the change and some for tip. As for now I am sure they prefer card payment over cash. There was only two people working, I can tell the person behind the grill waited to hear what I ordered as I started to hear the sizzles of the grill. Food made to order is already a big ups to them. There are no dining tables or chairs, there are some benches scattered around Village Green Park where you can sit and eat, also scattered around the park are trash bins to throw the food away. After receiving my food, I talked to the staff, they mentioned they do have a lunch menu that starts at 11am, but breakfast is also served all day. They also told me that Trapshack Kitchen has this new location, when there are concerts going on they have a taco shack also in the garden amp and lastly a new spot over at the Anaheim packing district. To start things off, I opened up with the breakfast sando, which was a breakfast sausage patty, bacon, over easy egg and American cheese in-between a brioche bun. I am glad I also ordered the Monte Cristo, the breakfast sandwich is pretty small, but everything was cooked fresh! It was pretty good, think of microwave breakfast sandwich from a grocery store, but just prepared fresh for you. It wasn't mind blowing, fresh and hot food, it does its purpose by putting food into your stomach. The Monte Cristo, bigger than the breakfast sando and to me was better of the two. French toast brioche, breakfast sausage, Canadian bacon, scrambled egg and cheese. Make sure you have your napkins with you, as this sandwich is messy in a good way. I can easily tell syrup was used from the beginning, to the middle and then finished off during the French toast creation. As I said above, its nothing mind blowing but pretty damn good sandwich. For a pirate king my size, the two sandwiches filled me perfectly, wasn't too full. Have my usual cup of coffee would top it off nicely! I am happy to know these guys are literally walking distance for me, I will most definitely be coming back to get my breakfast fix, if I forget or running late to work. I will also come back and update this review with their lunch time items. Rooting for them, if you guys can get a banner or even an A frame to help show theres a restaurant right here. Village green park has a lot of foot traffic from students walking to school, early morning work out classes or people walking their dogs. Feast well my fellow yelpers! - Taicho
