The service was great. Lots of parking. It has been remodeled since the last time I've been here. Got three items. The fried ribs was not done and the guy kept saying that it is but I can tell when ribs aren't done as I won top 3 in a bbq festival.. It's pink and you can still taste the fiber. 14.95$, I'm all for supporting locals. But you can definitely tell, and my stomach is hurting today. I wish the fried egg was cooked less as the egg on one of the rice dishes was over cooked so the yolk was not runny. There was about four tables that had stuff on the table for awhile. He waited for the Hispanic workers to come and bus. The crack sauce is great tho!

The most important is the food so delicious. Taste just like in Thailand and Lao. Service is good. The place is cozy and comfortable.

Overall rating: 4/5 stars Normally, it would be a higher rating but this weekend their service let me down. I've visited this restaurant 2 times previously and they were wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was decent. This time I took my family here to celebrate a birthday. They took forever to serve my food. We had to remind them to bring us our food. It looked like they forgot about us. They were not too busy. There were two parties in front of us to sit down. Other people were getting their food. Even pickup orders were getting their orders. My family was getting hungry! All we had was the salad! Now it was beef salad and it was tasty...but the point is I shouldn't have to wait that long for my fried rice and pad see ew. They finally brought out our food piping hot. Looks like they rushed to get us the foods. Thanks! I hope this won't be a common occurrence. Everyone has an off day. Like I said, the previous times I've been here they've been great.

One of the best Thai places in OC! There's limited amount of seating inside, but nonetheless it goes by pretty quick! My favorite dish from there would have to be there beef pad see ew. So much flavor, such generous portions, everything is so good!

I wish I had a photo to share, but if I'm being honest, I'm usually halfway through my meal before I can slow down enough to think about anything else- that's just how good the food is here. My absolute favorite dish from here is the crispy rice, and I haven't found it replicated anywhere else. Every dish I've had, both Thai and Laos, has met or exceeded expectations. Service can be slow sometimes, but that's because it's a traditional mom and pop shop that occasionally gets slammed with waves of orders at once. I've always been met with a smile and a can do attitude when it comes to questions or substitutions. TLDR; It's a humble restaurant with consistently good food!

Amazing food and friendly staff!! This was my second time coming to this place and it did not disappoint. This time I got the pad kee mao & boat noodles. They def don't skimp on their portion which i love. Most thai food restaurants nowadays have such small portions & it's so expensive. The noodles in the pad kee mao was cooked perfectly and it wasn't in little pieces. Overall, super happy with prices, services, and the food! I'll be back for sure :) I didn't take pictures this time, but these are pictures from last time!

Ambiance - typical family style restaurant, clean Service - we were immediately served with plates, silverware, water glasses and a pitcher of ice water. Food - we ordered crying tiger, papaya salad, fried catfish with curry sauce, Thai coffee and steamed rice. The papaya salad was okay. Wished there was more peanuts. We were very disappointed with the crying tiger. The beef was cold and dry and it was very tough. The deep fried catfish was covered with curry sauce. The sauce tasted very good. However, the fish was fried with the fins and the middle bones. I did not see it in my first bite because it was covered with sauce. There was so much fish bones, I had to spit it out. Anyway, the serving portion was small. Thai coffee was okay. Overall, we were unsatisfied and quite disappointed. Our bill, including tip was around $66. Will not be back.

Big portions and extensive menu! We got the khao piak Sen Tommy style, boat noodles, and the Kao moo dang. The Kao moo dang probably shouldn't be listed under fried rice since it's served over steamed rice. It was on the sweet side but maybe that's how it's supposed to be. The noodle soups were both amazing and the chili oil provided is legit spicy in a wonderful way since chili oil isn't usually spicy. Everyone had leftovers, even the husband and that never happens. One thing though, make sure you come here when you have more time because the wait to get food can be long.

The Tom Yum was pretty good. I went here with my mother and we had an okay experience. Service was pretty slow, waiting pretty long for our food. I order the Pad see ew and it was super spicy, my mom liked the taste of it because she likes spicy, however she said it was also spicy for her. I, on the other hand, could not handle it. On top of that, the beef was a bit undercooked and still a bit red. I just wished the menu stated that the Pad see ew was spicy, so I could've asked them to make it non-spicy. I recommend the Tom Yum though! Restaurant was pretty dim. Edit: I was previously writing this review when I was eating. Now a bit later after I payed, they gave me the wrong receipt of another table's order making me pay $20 extra. Had to wait long in line to get back a refund. I don't understand! I came here five years ago and loved the service and food. Now it sucks, from reading other reviews, it must have been a new ownership.

Came here for a early dinner. We ordered the boat noodle soup, stir fried watercress, larb minced meat salad, and the raw shrimp. Everything was delicious, but especially loved the raw shrimp. We also bought some of their pork rinds to take back home and that was amazing as well.

food was okay not the best I ordered ka poon, nam khao, papaya salad. the Kapoon was a bit too spicy to my taste. the papaya salad was too sweet when I order it with less sugar, but it seems like the sauce was premade. the sericve was okay. very busy on a week day
