Ambiance: Typical restaurant vibes, I usually opt for the drive thru, but the inside does have a lot of seating both inside and out.Service: Though I'm usually in the drive thru, there is always a wait. I've never been able to get in and out like most places. But the food is always hot.Food: I first tried chilaquiles here, and I've been in love with them ever since. The red sauce is my favorite. The plate is always heavy, and I'm always full after I've had them. It's not spicy but rich with flavor. I always ask for just one egg since I'm not a big fan, but they almost never listen.

I've been going for years and it's a great place. The service is fast but not friendly at all and I've over looked it for a few years as it's a great local spot. You would have more business I suspect because most people just don't do back. There is a young man maybe family but his bizarre attitude and almost confrontational and simply mean and obviously hates people and his job. I get it when you don't like your job but there is no reason every time to be mean to folks supporting your business that have not been rude. It was funny at first but It's been like this for a couple of years this young man is mean . whoever owns this is a great place. Maybe time to look at the quality of service as most seem very angry and taking it out on customers. I will not go back there is a place by the dollar tree maybe try and get those folks to work at your place they are all very nice. Again there is no reason to be rude to people that are not being rude to you. I don't ever really do this but I think from the good reviews here you need to check the bad ones as again as they are being honest and honestly most people don't go back and word of mouth is just as bad and a few will tell you the truth. And again I have over looked it as I know people don't get paid much etc but this is down right out of control. I don't know his name but if he is family time to find another family member that wants your business to flourish as you can just by changing the attitude of your staff. I do hope you take time to figure this out. I hope you can fix this problem you have as you have those new condos coming.

10/10 all around amazing restaurant. I live around the corner and come here all the time. The staff is amazing and the food is delicious. My dad is a picky eater and one time complained the burrito was too fatty. (personally I thought it was fine) regardless, Giannis happily made him a new one. As a regular customer, I've grown to love the place, and take pride in it as it represents Gardena. My cashier Moises has show exceptional hospitality and customer service. I guarantee he has my usual orders memorized by now. He is a huge part of what makes Giannis feel like home to me. Give this man a raise for real. My only suggestion, please bring back latte's! Also, I recommend matcha ice cream and matcha latte's. I see there's another review in here who worded it perfectly. Giannis is one of the many hidden gems of Gardena. I really hope they grow and expand. I also see in one of the other reviews it mentions the staff having attitude problems. Personally, in my experience, this has never been the case for me.

GREAT FOOD. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Ok, so I've been wanting to come on here and leave a review to prepare you to be in a bad mood. This place is so underrated and a hidden neighborhood gem. If you're looking for good food, whether Mexican or American, this is the spot. Burritos, ceviche, burgers, chili, and breakfast are bomb. There is even good vegetarian options. Green salsa is also really good and homemade. Cooks are friendly and handle special accommodations well. Now the server/cashier staff, yikes. Every single woman in there, except the blonde, has an attitude problem. It feels like the DMV. You know when they make you feel like you need them and are on their time, while inconveniencing them? Yeah that's the treatment you get. Good luck asking for anything, even your total because you'll get a snappy & rude response. My boyfriend is a long time patron (20 yrs) and friends with the two owners who are brothers. When they're there, service is better. The owners are always investing in the place, fixing, updating etc. It breaks my heart to see them work so hard just to have their staff chase off business. As a marketing professional I can say the customer experience is the key to business longevity. It will be worth it to replace the cashiers with experienced food service workers or invest in training. The long term effects of these toxic employees will be detrimental to this business and I know he community will be sad to see it go. Here is a list of what to expect: -No greeting while waiting -When you ask for service, they rudely reply "wait one min" -You can stand there for 10 minutes without ever being acknowledged -Drive thru experience is similar, expect 15-20 wait times even if you're the only car -not knowledgeable of menu -no appreciation for your business -no total given, just accept your money / payment -no thank you for your business after the order -don't ask for extra salsa, 2 is the max and they'll argue about it -if it's the young cashier, she'll rush you through your order

My orders are generally correct. Good prices. I generally order the breakfast egg and bacon sandwich or the breakfast burrito with bacon-satisfactory.
Had a cute lil breakfast solo date. Ordered the chilaquiles verdes plate. My usual is the veggie breakfast burrito but the cashier recommended the chilaquiles for a change. She was super sweet. Chilaquiles were 10/10 although I wish they were crispier. Beans were refried and super good too. Also comes with a side of rice and sour cream Highly recommend this place.
