Very easy and tasty solution for the situations where you don't want to make your own banchan. I sometimes pick up from here to make an easy bibimbap - just throw the ingredients in a bowl of rice, add gochujang and sesame oil and I have a nice meal ready for my family in no time. This would be a good place to cater if you need lots of Korean side dishes at an event or a potluck.

i love this place, great korean food and banchan at a good price not sure what everyone is complaining about i was treated with a warm smile and mutual respect when asking about some of the dishes being offered, i know they are quite busy and i appreciated their time and effort making all of the wonderful dishes on the menu sometimes these zoomers waltz in and act so entitled and superior "ong" just because they are a customer or have money and think other ppl dont see it - just makes me laugh, please get some manners and skills with human interaction (not by being fake super smiley and bouncing off the walls like you're on adderall) and not constantly act like you're the center of the universe and maybe you'll get some respect back anyways, back to the food - if you like korean food you will definitely like Zip Banchan. 5 stars baby~ thank you Zip Banchan!

I've driven by this place a ton of times but it always looks closed. I wasn't sure what the name of it was so I had to look it up on google maps. It's called JR Catering in google. The Korean name on the storefront is not a strict translation either. Anyways, I checked the opening hours and finally got to check it out. Right off the bat, the lady behind the counter is super unfriendly. I guess they don't need or care for business. I would give them a 1 based on customer service. I was all happy and excited to check them out so I was smiley and friendly but she wasn't having it. So I went to head-down, just check out the dishes mode. Things I gotta do for a quick homemade type meal. Lol I tried four different dishes. They were all pretty good. So I'm giving them a 4 regardless of them being rude. There was also another person behind the counter but to the side sitting in front of a computer (back turned) who never turned around. Just general bad vibe. Anyways back to the food. Its just a takeout place so food counts most. I got dwenjang jjigae which is a soybean soup. They cooked it just the way I personally like it. Flavor was good, low on the broth, heavy on the potatoes, tofu, and zucchini. I also got fried beltfish. My son liked it. Last I got meat patties and fish patties. Not sure what they are called in English so making up my own name. They were pretty decent. The meat patties had carrots and scallions and veggies inside which I liked. Pricing was $10 flat per dish. Seemed fair considering the ingredients seemed good and they were time consuming to make. I'll check out some more dishes next time.

I ordered the set menu for the first time and really like it. Banchans were well packed and insulated. Especially they are using "PP level plastic" which is safer one for hot food!!! I would like to order again!

Wow I was so shocked. My wife bought some kimchee and it was $10.00. An elastic strap was inside the kimchee and my wife went to return it. The worker asked how much you paid and my wife said $10. The worker gave her $8 saying no it doesnt cost that much. After my wife was arguing with the worker, she eventually got the $10. I am not sure I want to come back here, while some of the side dishes are good, I do not like this customer service.

called for a quote and the owner is extremely. if youre going to do customer based business then please dont answer the phone like that. you have pictures of catering on your yelp page but you're yelling at me saying it's not a catering service. I typed catering as the keyword and your store popped up. I did not get mad at you, I said sorry for calling if it's the wrong type of shop. No need to sound annoyed and give me attitude
Food is delicious and well priced! I've been coming here for years and I love the korean dishes they make. Their korean kimbop is always fresh and they make it daily!

Love zip ban chan. Used their ban chan service during the summer after I had a baby and everything is so good and kid friendly!! Would definitely recommend. Their packaging and ease of preparing everything is great!!

Delivery man arrived almost in timeand the food was super duper delicious. I strongly recommend for everyone especially working moms. Thank u zip banchan ^^I will definitely order next time.
