I picked up the salmon salad for lunch and let me tell you it was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. This will be my new regular lunch spot. Lettuce fresh and crisp. Dressing tasted homemmade and that salmon marinated and cooked to perfection.

Place is so chill with a laid back vibe. Erica our server gave exceptional customer service. I dont know why this place aint busy as heck! The food is bomb... the braised short ribs is fall off the bone, and my favorite was the lady bug fried chicken. So tender and crunchy!!

Very cozy, friendly staff, and excellent food! It's like a community go-to for older crowds, families with little kids, reunions, office lunches... Consistently yummy!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, not a stuffy place.

Food is good, but the service is lacking. Went for dinner took a while for the server to take order. 2 servers only 5 tables of diners. I received food but had to ask for my drink I ordered. The server never came back to check on me until they were delivering the bill. 3 older women came in and still didn't have order taken while I was waiting for bill. 3 young women came in, and the server almost immediately took their order. The 2nd time in a couple of weeks, I've received the same kind of service.

The butterfish may very well be the best fish I have ever eaten. Perfectly tender, moist, with a miso glaze (I think) and a little bit of char, it is superb! Expensive, but it's that good.

Visited Ladybug for dine-in service. We ordered the chicken katsu curry rice and LB fried chicken / teriyaki chicken combo plate. It's quite a bit of food, which made sense for the price ~$17/plate. Overall, the meal was a bit disappointing. The katsu was fried well but the breading easily separated from the chicken. It was also a little dry and needed to be eaten with the curry (demi glaze would have helped). The curry was good but came out lukewarm. The combo plate was overall dry and lacked a good teriyaki flavor punch. The staff was nice and friendly, though I was a little surprised at the service. It was great at the beginning, but then once our food was brought out, no one came back. We had a napkin and fork each in the place setting, but no knife or spoon were given (extra napkins would have been nice too). We waited a little while then eventually walked up to the counter to ask for some additional cutlery.

Excellent Hawaiian diner. Greet selection of food, variety for kids and adults, and plenty of aloha spirit. The French toast is unique and their American Japanese fusion take is worth trying. Highly recommended!

I love their kalua pork from here! They also give pretty big portion sizes in person compared to when ordering to go. I'd also recommend their fried chicken, but id skip on the kalbi. The meat slices are super thin & not worth it for the price point. Overall, Ladybug is great! The workers are all friendly & personable.

I had seen this restaurant on social media several times so while I was in Gardena I decided to go check them out I was surprised to find out thatLadybug is the old Sizzler building across the street from Clearview Convalescent. The food was good I would go back the staff is great I recommend this place to everyone

Ladybug does an excellent job of catering for events with delicious Japanese and Asian cuisine. We order their kalbi, fried chicken, teriyaki beef and chicken, and Chinese chicken salad. For many years, my mother-in-law requested their butter fish, and my wife enjoys their teriyaki salmon. They moved prior to and during covid, but they are worth following, and they're located in the building where Bob's Hawaiian used to be on Western Ave. and Redondo Beach Blvd. I highly recommend them.
