Listen this some Ghetto ish it’s sad that’s it’s us as black people don’t know how to treat our own kind the little chicken head girl with the braces that sits at front counter needs extreme customer service etiquette classes the tall black man YALL got running the front ain’t no help he’s a big kid needing a job as well but understand this the way Black people conduct there business is the reason why they fail trust me this business in our community needs better understanding when it comes to customers and our needs the way to handle any situation is to make sure customer is comfortable especially when food is being handled NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL ON ANY ACCOUNT OR LEVEL BLACK PEOPLE MAKE IT BAD FOR THEMSELVES WHEN NOT KNOWING COMMON COURTESY SFS NEEDS A BUSINESS ETIQUETTE CLASS FOR EVERY LEVEL OF FLAWS ESPECIALLY THAT LIL GIRL YALL GOT WORKING THERE. They worked me out of $60 dollars for a plate that was unflavored, dry and unsatisfying. The fried chicken breast was I believe the shoulder or some other body part of the chicken, dry and nasty with no seasoning flavor. The cabbage was well overcooked and very salty. Cornbread was hard and stuck to the paper smh. The red beans and rice was plain and unseasoned. Everything was whack! Not worth the money at all. Very disappointing.
God the food here was so good. Portions are massive, I had lots of leftovers. Ordered the lunch special with 2pc of chicken legs, mac and cheese, two cornbread muffins and collard greens. $9.99 before tax, after tax came out to $13. It was my first time ever having collard greens but sadly I personally didn't really like it. Not because of the way they made it but I didn't know collard greens has a natural bitterness to it so next time I come here I'll probably get a different side. Definitely doesn't deserve to get a star docked though. Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had, it was SO cheese and flavorful, I highly recommend. Cornbread muffins were moist and delicious with crispy edges. Fried chicken was also really good, light (but crispy) breading, super moist chicken. Service was great, the girl at the front (didn't get her name) was really sweet and attentive, and another guy (I think one of the owners?) was really friendly. Both of them made sure I liked the food. The dining ares is kind of small but super clean, there are no bathrooms but there's a McDonald's right across the street if you need to go. Lots of happy regulars coming in and out.

Waited over an hour for food here today and it was mid AF and cold... Pork chop was definitely fried in old grease and it was dry as hell. Chicken was overcooked and fried in old grease.. Waffle was cold as hell! They always say support black owned businesses and this is what you get... Never again!!!
