The view from the Terrace, cannot be beat! I will start with that. The service from our wait staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, the food falls short. Stale croutons on the Caesar salad were disappointing and the Linguini with Clams was awful. Bitter with overpowering wine flavor and nothing else. Cooked too al dente for my taste (and I am Italian) I did not have the heart to send it back, I was enjoying my lunch with my Mom and we had a beautiful table overlooking the roses on the terrace! WOW! I will be back, I have dined here before and it is a nice place to bring guests for the views and the experience. I will say my Mom's fried polenta with mushrooms was very good! :)

The scaping views of the vineyards and the friendly service are the only redeeming qualities of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the lackluster dinner my wife and I were served this evening spoiled the positives. The Bolognese pasta lacked any flavor and was lathered in watery red sauce-- any can of sauce purchased at the grocery store would have been better. While my wife's pizza crust was decent, the toppings were mediocre at best. A very disappointing way to end our trip to California...

I have been there several times. The food is just average. Really they never have changed menu or added to the menu since the place opened. Eons ago. Time for a change. And improved menu. It’s tiring. Food is so so. Service can be slow. Views are the best. But I want better food. Please change it up!!

Pizza and pasta was really good. The restaurant got really busy and loud quickly. Outside was too windy for many. Service was slow and not because of the kitchen. Also, bar was slow.
What a lovely day capped off by a delicious dinner in a beautiful atmosphere with the kindest person taking care of us. From the crisp and fresh Caesar salad to the yummy dessert, our anniversary dinner was perfect! We enjoyed a pizza and shared two pasta dishes as well. The pizza was flavorful with pork sausage and white anchovies which were far superior to anything we've ever tasted. Linguine and clams were seasoned well with fresh garlic and herbs with a generous amount of tender clams. While the above were all fabulous, the rigatoni bolognese stole the show with the pasta enrobed with the meat sauce in perfect harmony. Maggie timed our courses in such a way that we were able to enjoy the incredible view from our table and savor each dish without feeling rushed. She is a gem! Thank you for making us feel so special!

The worst Pizza I have ever had. Picked Up take out. When I opened the box at home all the cheese was on one side of the box. Hardly any cheese on pizza. Will never order from them again.

My only complaint is the menu no longer offers the bacon cheeseburger. 2 people in our party love the cheeseburgers; they were disappointed. Other than that, lovely lunch in a lovely setting with great service.

Always an enjoyable time here! They have a new desert (sadly their menu on the website is not complete, so I can't tell you the name of it) which is quite good, it is: chocolate mousse layered with a salted whipped cream, sweet diced strawberries, and a Florentine-type cookie. Unfortunately there is not a whole lot of the chocolate mouse (so proportionally this could have a larger portion of the mouse, and a smaller portion of the salted whipped cream), and the salt seems a little heavy handed, so a bit less salt in the whipped cream and this desert would be dynamite! Always enjoy the cocktails here & they have lots of fun (and some new) ones to choose from. This time we had the Peach Spritz which we really loved: Sophia Brut and peach balsamic vinegar (sounds "strange" but it is FANTASTIC!) Pizza Luigino is a favorite.

Good food with a great view. We dined at Rustic on 4/19/24, and had the pleasure of being seated on the patio, adjacent to the vineyards. The view was awesome, the service was excellent, and the food was better that we anticipated. We share a Caesar Salad, and our entrees were the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe and the Pizza Sofia. All of our food was very good, and I would recommend both entrees. It was also fun to walk around the property, and see all of the Coppola artifacts. If you're a film buff, it's a must see. I'd definitely recommend Rustic, and we'll likely be back the next time we're in town.

We had a tremendous birthday lunch at Rustic where we dined inside. The meal was absolutely delicious but the server, Melissa, went out of her way to make our lunch experience memorable and more than enjoyable…from requested suggestions to her patience and especially not rushing us at all. I would highly recommend lunch and if you’re lucky, Melissa will be your server !Vegetarian options: I observed several dishes that were vegetarian, some with seafood and some without.

I was disappointed, when I made the reservation, I said we were celebrating a birthday, it was not acknowledged at all. The waitress never even brought us a dessert menu, just our check. I was also disappointed that the menu has been shortened, no longer offering the meatballs. The burrata was way too cold, it should have been served at room temperature. Overall, it was not such a special experience as we had the first time we were there.
