The pizza dough was really good and the salad was refreshing but that is all they have on the menu - pizza and salad I was a little disappointed, but it satisfied my son's craving for pizza after camping for a week.

Unfortunately you have a fantastic breakfast menu. But your hours are horrible!! Who in the world eats at 3pm for breakfast??? Your missing out on a lot of business for that.

My husband and I were on a date night for a Friday night after a long day of work. We decided to go downtown Monterey and search for a nice glass of wine. I found Bella Viva on the internet and we were so amazed at how this place looked so sophisticated, fancy and inviting. The reviews were great. Richard the owner had great customer service skills. We decided to first try their flight sample of the set of 3 red wines called the Call A Cali Cab which were all delicious. The Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon CA was our favorite so we decided to buy a bottle of this to take home. We also decided to open one of their bottles of their sparkling wine there and drink it while we devoured their exquisite Bella Panzanella salad which was made fresh with their very own homemade dressing. The sparkling wine we chose was the Campo Viejo Cava Brut and it was very delicious. I definitely recommend this place for a nice date night for couples. This is going to be our anniversary tradition.

My husband and I had a fabulous dinner at this local restaurant. We sat outside on their cozy and romantic patio and enjoyed a glass of wine, salad and their New Yorker pizza. The food and service were excellent and the ambiance was perfect for our date night. If you haven't given them a try, I would highly recommend them. We will definitely be back!

The wine as great, I had a flight of both red and white. The setting was a nice rustic feel, great patrons and friendly staff. The food selection was not that robust or tasty, thus I'd say go for the wine.
