I absolutely loved this restaurant, do they know when and where they will re-open? They were very accommodating to my whole family, I was vegan, my husband ate regular food and my son is picky but always loved their delicious food.

I just enjoyed their dishes. I always get excellent customer service there. The place is well kept and the cashiers are always welcoming. Highly recommended.

Loved this place. Sadly, it is gone. There is a Mexican restaurant where it used to be.

I don't know if it's under reconstruction but it is not open anymore.

The food here has been consistently good, we've had the pork chips, fish and pasta dishes here over the years. Their service was not consistent but they always tried. I hope they re-open, it was my favorite place in Gilroy.

We literally just got home from having dinner at Cafe Thyme tonight for the first time. The food was amazing. We had short rib tacos appetizer, cioppino and my husband had pork belly with a creamy polenta and it was all so great. We told the waiter how pleased we were and come to find out they close for good tomorrow. We were both so bummed. I want to send our apologies to the owner for not coming in sooner and giving her our business. Makes me sad, we are 3.5 years into living in Gilroy and we see that it is truly difficult to run a business here. Gilroy-ans need to get their act together including me, to eat out!

Taste did not equate the price. We had the filet, cioppino, and spaghetti bolonese. The filet cost $38, but had no salt or pepper. The cioppino was $33 but the seafood was not fresh; you can tell the shrimp was from a bag. The bolonese was ok. If you reduce each dish by $10-$15 then the price would equate the quality. I don't mind paying as long as the quality is there.

When looking for a venue for a rehearsal dinner, I was glad to come upon Cafe Thyme. Diane S., the owner, truly made it a most special event. She asked questions to create a menu, made place cards, set tablecloths, and had her daughter, a professional florist, create lovely centerpieces. She was attentive to our needs, and the food was fabulous...the best filet mignon I have ever had! All of our party are still raving about the delicious meals that we all had. The presentation was amazing and so was the flavor of every meal, fish, chicken, filet mignon and vegetarian. The bread pudding is a family recipe and one to try. Diane is modest as she complemented her fabulous staff for all of their work. She is the kind of boss that everyone should work for. Her kindness and attention to detail, along with the fabulous food, is a reason why everyone should come here. She is humble, and a true host. The wedding party could not have had a more fabulous time, and it is all due to Diane and her incredible staff. Thank you.

Ok, this restaurant is a hidden gem that absolutely must be visited. We came here with a party of 16, and not only did they do a great job taking care of us, but the food... oh my the food. My wife and I split a filet and scallops dish, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. Scallops are an easy thing to ruin. Cook them too long, and they're rubbery, buy them cheap and they're sandy. These were hands down some of the best and most perfectly prepared scallops I have ever had. The filet was cooked just right at medium, and was melt in your mouth delicious. We cut it with our forks it was so tender. Topped off with their amazing blueberry cheesecake, and excellent coffee, this is a place that cannot be missed. It's a little spendy, but bring that special someone and enjoy some of the best food to be found in the South Bay.

Clam chowder tasted like a water down canned soup. The macaroni and cheese seemed to be out of a box.

Wow what a Find! We turned a sad visit to an aging father into a amazing date night! Right when you open the door and walk in you feel like you've stumbled into something good. The wine my husband picked a Argentinian Malbec was perfect From an amazing menu we settled into. Chicken mushroom pasta .. the flavor was scrumptious.. a beautiful plate of fillet mignon with absolutely delicious scallops was amazing Truly! Clam chowder better than any we have tasted..... To top of the perfect meal... the owner herself came over to visit... how special that was.... Our ride home to Paso went by so fast as we just kept talking how wonderful this experience was

The food was pretty tasty, but the wine selection was really bad. Tried three different reds and couldn't drink any of them. I got the feeling they were trying to save money by not getting something better than 2 buck chuck. This place has a lot of potential if they'd just go the extra mile.

Great, high quality meals at a surprisingly reasonable price. One of out favorite restaurants when we visit the Gilroy area.
