It was a good bakery. I didn't like the bread that I tried so much. Maybe other breads are better, but the prices definitely fell over time.

This place is a gift from GOD. On the busy day of the year they were able to pull off an astonishing spider man cake for my 3 year old when all the other bakeries said I had to order a week in advance!

Wow!!! This place just changed ownership about 8 months ago. I have bought a few cakes for birthdays at work and also for my kids. Their frosting was amazing! It was like nothing I have ever had, super light and fluffy, excellent taste!. They also sell these baked breads stuffed with cream cheese, jalapeno and ham!!! Excellent affordable lunch on the go! They also sell all the Conchas and other Mexican sweet breads! Definitely take the time to go check them out!

The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. The pastries were unbearably dry... I'm talking sawdust crumble in your mouth dry. I'm very sure that the Pattie's they have there are not baked fresh. There is no way a pastry can be that horribly dry and flavorless and be less than a few weeks old! I threw my dejection away uneaten. My hubby has a thing for bolillos, and they were the whole reason I walked downtown. I did not see any bolillos in the display case or anywhere and mentioned that I was disappointed to find they were sold out again. The nice woman behind the counter said there were some in the back. They seem pretty well baked. Hubby was happy with those. They also seemed much more fresh than anything else they had on display. They had some pre-made sandwiches on display for purchase ... but they were Sitting on top of the display case. The store itself had no fan running, no air conditioner ... it was very hot ! The poor lady behind the counter was pouring sweat. I don't think it's 'food safe' to leave prepared sandwiches (tortes?) out like that in the heat... Just as a warning I wouldn't purchase the tortas if I were you.

Really disappointed that this bakery isn't what it used to be. I remember this place having the best tortas in town, which consisted of your choice of meat, fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onion, avocado, queso fresco, sour cream and jalapeños. The quality has changed immensely. A torta is $8.50, is missing ingredients and the produce is old. In my order, the lettuce appeared to have come from a bag and was already brown. Came with two slices of ham and one slice of tomato. The bread to meat/produce ration is disproportionate. Unfortunately, I noticed this when I got home and called the bakery right away. In my opinion, the owner is defensive and dishonest about the food quality. I'd prefer being told a business isn't offering an item than being given inedible food. As much as I try to support small businesses, I would not return here since it's apparent they're taking shortcuts and aren't willing to do the right thing the first time.

They offer a wide variety of pastries. It's overwhelming for anyone's first time because there's barely any signs around and despite no other customers in the shop, they didn't seem patient answering my questions. I was trying to go down the real asking about different desserts but she tried telling me that everything is the same, it's just a different color. I ended up picking something that was rather dry. $.50 charge for purchases if you use a credit card for a transaction under $10.

Items did not seem like they were fresh.

Went Saturday morning for the first time. Bought some pan dulce, was not very fresh

Got an assortment of baked goods for my kids, got home and one had very noticable mold on it... Which leads me to believe 1. It's not fresh 2. It's not being stored properly 3. Things aren't being tossed when they should be.
