“Los Pericos is a family owned restaurant. All of their food is amazing. They are known for their carnitas. It is fantastic. You can not go wrong with carnitas tacos. Their carnitas super burrtos is massive. It is so good with fresh avacado and cilantro.bAll of their food is amazing. From their Pazole to chili verde to carne asada plate or carne asada tacos or burrito, All of the food is so good. Their beans are so good. They make a fresh batch everyday. Lately, I have been getting the chili rellano and carnitas tostada combo with rice and beans. It is fantastic. The 3 daughters who run the place are so nice and helpful They treat you like long time friends. You gotta come check it out. I promise you that you won't regret it.“
“I love family owned businesses because you always know the food is authentic and really good! We were looking for food spots in the area and found this place. We went for Saturday lunch and it was pretty busy inside. There are lots of seating inside so we were seated right away and got our food in about 15-20 mins. Everything is so freshly cooked and grilled and everything was big portions so we had plenty to take home. My family ordered the Chimichanga Plate, Chile Verde Plate, and Pescado Frito Plate. It was all so flavorful! I got the Carne Asada Plate and while it was also good, the meat seemed a little bit overcooked in my opinion. Our server really made sure we were taken cared of and everyone else really enjoyed their food. I would definitely come back though as they have a really big menu!“
“First time here.. My wife and I loved it. Place was clean. Service and staff were very friendly and the food was great!! Very tasty authentic Mexican food . I recommend the Chili Verde plate. It was amazingly delicious ? We will definitely be back when around Gilroy area.“
“my boyfriend and i were just passing through and decided to stop here for a late breakfast/ early lunch. the chips and salsa were great and the burritos were ordered were hot and so delicious. i got the burrito with jamón and my boyfriend got his with chorizo and we were both very impressed. the service was prompt and we were quickly helped. would definitely come back!“
“Excellent food in a nondescript location. Enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and sweetie had the caldo de res. Both were well seasoned and flavorful. Informal but nicely decorated and clean inside with helpful service. Will go back next time we are that way.“
“I forgot the names of the sushi but they were both really good, I was happy with the taste and quality. I had a lemonade mojito that I actually ordered twice! And I'm usually cheap with my drinks lol. Dessert was good, had the molten lava cake and I'm a sucker for chocolate. Gabby the server was suuuper attentive and friendly. Didn't have to wave her down or do weird things to get her attention. My one complaint would be the music being connected to a random persons phone and it would disconnect often. We found it funny and don't care too much about that stuff but putting it here in case someone does complain and the owners get the chance to get Spotify premium. I promise it's worth the investment. Brother also approves of this message“
“It's real Mexican food . The service is extremely fast there curtious and attentive checking if our drinks are low try it I bet you will go back for more .. try the chicken chimney changa with avocado and sour cream on top and a Arnold Palmer for the thirst non alcoholic of course.“
“Super tasty authentic Mexican food! The tortillas are to die for as they are made fresh by hand! This location gets extremely busy around lunch and dinner times and the parking lot is tiny so fills up fast! Parking can be found just down the street or around the corner of the block, and trust me the walk is worth the food!“
“We were from out of town and wanted some Hispanic food. The place was not busy at all but I saw a few takeouts. The food was delicious, but I had expected the quesabirria to have more flavors in it. Also, It was my first time trying it. The server was a young man who was very patient and enlightened us about the ingredients. XD The con was the restroom, I won't say what I saw but I just wished it was cleaned.“
“THE BEST CHICKEN AND CABEZA TACOS YOU WILL EVER HAVE. I've been struggling to find a well seasoned chicken taco that's very tender and no fat. The tortillas are hand made and to die for. The owner serves you himself and is the most accommodating person ever!! Yes it's a taco truck technically, but they have 5 large picnic tables and the ambiance is the best with dim natural light!“
“Very bad service, the waiter wrote down everything and I didn't bring anything. I never go back to that place. I asked him for food and drinks. He only brought me the food and never brought me the drink. Then he wanted to charge me for everything when he knew perfectly well that he didn't bring me everything I asked for. I really don't recommend very bad service.“
“We have been to dinner here several times recently & the food is always good. Not sure why it took us so long to try but glad we finally did. We've had the guacamole which was excellent, different tacos, carnitas platter, chile relleno, etc. their margaritas are excellent too. We even have taken family visiting from out of town & they all loved it. Done night they gave Karaoki which was fun to watch. I think the only complaint I have is that they always seem to be out of pins coladas. Other than that everything is great. It's always very clean inside too.“
“The food was amazing! We ordered mixed fajitas, ceviche and sope de al pastor. It was all so delicious in their own way, definitely recommend. The service was very good as well. Very attentive staff, they took the finished plates as we were continuing the other dishes, asked us how everything was several times. The atmosphere was great as well. We ate a late lunch, the restaurant was pretty empty but still felt very lively. Music playing, the smell of the food cooking in the kitchen and very great decor everywhere inside. I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Gilroy.“
“I was just visiting Gilroy for a few days. I really wanted some Mexican food. I checked for a place near where I was staying. This place was near the grocery store I had to also go to. I went inside, it was very clean. Smelled great too! The front counter person was very nice. He helped me decide on the birra taco. I also got a few other things to go. It was all just delicious! I will be back!“
“Traditional food with a good satisfying tummy as you get up from your table and at a fair price just adds to the pleasure of not paying a lot of hard earned money for something as good as a nice big portion starring at you when it's placed in front of you . Ready set eat“
