Stopped by here on a road trip, the food was delicious. The garlic butter wings were my favorite while the ahi tuna nachos were a close second.

I've been here several times and I want to like this place. There's 3 major things I look at, cleanliness, Staff/atmosphere and food. The place is clean and the staff is 5 ? plus, very nice, attentive, they make you feel welcomed... the only part lacking is the food and drinks. We had their stew last time and it looked and tasted like it was days old, runny... presentation wasnt good either. Another time, the English breakfast had raw tomatoes, beans were a soup and the rest was meh.Today we had the breakfast burrito and a small pozole, the burrito was good. I wasn't that hungry and offered 3 options, kids (or for an adult that is not that hungry size- says on the menu) $9, small $12 and large $16. I opted for the small AND it was small even for the kids menu. No condiments that go with the pozole, just had to ask for them. It was good but ridiculously small for $12.The drinks are hit and miss. I had a bloody mary but it was super watered down with some junk chamoy and tajin on the rim. Don't get me wrong, I like that on some things but on a classic bloody mary? And they garnish it with pickle chips... COME ON! DO BETTER!Anyways not a bad place, I just hope they read the reviews and improve. I've been going back because of the atmosphere and wonderful staff, hoping their food and drinks have gotten better.

Food is absolutely amazing, the burgers ARE HUGE, not even kidding. Burgers and sweet potatoes fries are amazing and the wonton nachos are definitely packed

My friend and I ate here on Saturday 16th. They were serving St. Patrick Day food so I was excited. Food definitely wasn’t up to expectations. I had been to Ireland last February so I looking forward to eating. My friend had the Irish beef stew. It was a soup instead of a stew. I had the corned beef and cabbage. Absolutely no flavor, totally disappointed especially for the price we paid. The waitress hadn’t brought us silverware so we had to get up and ask for it. She never came back to check on us until after we were almost done eating. We were sitting on the patio outside so maybe she just forgot about us. I don’t think I’d go back here unfortunately.

The calamari tacos were huge, delicious, loved the jalapeños!!!I had the burger with cheese. I like that they had sautéed onions and raw onions, lots of good green lettuce. Salad was really good, i would just ask for the dressing on the side because i prefer less, but my husband loves his salad fully drenched., so for him it's perfect.Onion rings were good too.

The food and service are great! We love bringing family and friends here when they visit and everybody we take enjoys their food and the atmosphere. I also appreciate that the restaurant is spacious and has a nice outdoor seating area.

Wow, I can't say enough good things about the food, and I've only had it once. I had my hubby bring home buffalo wings and a side Caesar salad since he was having lunch with friends. Usually, to-go food arrives not so fresh, and wings can be kinda soggy but not these! The salad was super fresh and delicious with the dressing on the side. The wings were crispy and very tasty, with both Buffalo sauce and ranch dressing on the side. I can't wait to come back in person next time and try other things on the menu.

Came here on a Friday night with my husband. I made a reservation, but there was plenty of seating available. Great ambience. Good service. And we both enjoyed our food.! Yummy
When we walked in everyone was very friendly and welcoming. It was very clean and the Gilroy Garlic Burger was amazing. Would recommended Pop's to everyone. Jamie

The service was very slow. Granted it was busy but a server walked past us several times without greeting us or even talking to us. Finally the bar tender came to take our order. The Bloody Mary was awful and they made it again but still wasn't good but at least we weren't charged for it. Fish and chips breading was thick and not good. Coleslaw is horrible tasting, maybe someone likes it like that and it ruined the Ruben which they make with sourdough instead of the preferred and usual rye bread and it didn't do the sandwich any favors. Soup was good, fries were good but that's it.

I love going to Pop's with my family. Today I had the tropical chicken taco which was soooooo good! This is my favorite place to go in Gilroy.

I loved this place, food is great and drinks are even better. I brought my family and friends often. However, every time I come here alone and sit at the bar I am ignored and left with one drink for over an hour. Bartender serves me and then leaves, while the other bartender ignores me and helps everyone else at the bar. I usually shrug it off. This last time I came in I sat at the bar and got a drink immediately. That was it, never saw her again. Watched several people come and go for the next hour and forty five minutes. 3 bartenders and not one acknowledged me. Finally one asked if I wanted anything, I asked for the check and they couldn't even find me in the system! I told her that I had been there for quite some time did none of you see me? She responded "oh thought someone closed you out, you're not in the system so you can just leave" I don't care about a free drink.. just wanted to have a couple drinks after a long day at work. Will not be coming back and will stop recommending.
