Cool place, but the pancakes were not impressive. Kinda dry. It's not worth the price, in my opinion.

While I appreciate the effort to offer vegan options, I found the quality disappointing. The vegan pancakes, priced at $18, were incredibly dry, no vegan butter options, felt like a waste of money. Literally felt like power and water mixed.Additionally, the $8 hash brown side seemed overpriced for its portion size.It would be nice if they offered individual pancakes instead of just full 3 pancake stacks.

Didn’t like the French toast but everything else tasted great! The pancakes were amazing. Portions are a bit big but that’s expected. Overall great brunch place.

Such a weird vibe in this store. It almost feels like a pop-up that's utilizing an abandoned restaurant. We almost thought it was closed.Service was friendly but completely disappeared after dropping off our food. If it had been busy I might have understood, but it was empty. The food was very good.

We attempted to eat here earlier today, 1/27/24. We sat at the bar bc no tables were available. As soon as we sat down, a staff member placed a stack of dirty dishes near us so we decided to place our names on the waitlist. While waiting, we ordered juice. We were then told by the hostess that if we ordered drinks at the bar, any drinks, we had to stay there and couldn’t sit at a table. Seems like a dumb rule. So we asked to cancel our juice order (it’s not fresh squeezed so it shouldn’t have been an issue). We were told we couldn’t cancel or transfer the drinks to the table tab OR close out the juice tab. Then a table was ready for us. It was a tiny table in the back corner that was empty the entire time we were there. There were 2 other tables ready as well. One indoor, one outdoor. But they chose to put us at the tiny table in the back corner. The entire interaction was very weird and unwelcoming. I believe they treated us this way bc we are Black people. We left and went to Atwater village. Much better experience there.

I was excited to discover Bea Beas. The menu looked amazing. As we chose our breakfast, I was already plotting what I wanted to try on my follow-up visits. I ordered the Pooh Breakfast, which was to be 3 bacon, 2 eggs over medium, and an apple-caramel crepe. And a coffee. The coffee was great, although we were never offered a refill. The bacon was nothing special. The eggs looked great but were filled with runny clear gloop, and the crepes were bland. The crepe was large and folded over into a triangle, with caramel drizzle and apples on top. It just didn't hit. Honestly, I could have spent 20 bucks less and had a better breakfast at Ihop.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, so I skipped reading the offerings. Could be great, I don't know.

This is my go-to spot for matcha pancakes. Wow they are sooo soft and delicious. Their pancakes are overall extremely filling and great. You'll most likely have food to take home. If you want the works of the traditional, basic American breakfast (eggs/bacon or sausage/potatoes and hashbrowns) then you'll need to ask if the works are extra from your order of pancakes. The lovely part of this place is that they have plenty of condiments to decorate your meal. It's a great spot for breakfast or brunch. The food is pretty darn delicious. In terms of seating, it's a little compact. They have plenty of tables both indoors and outdoors, also, they have seating with their diner bar. I've gone twice already and the wait staff are just great people. The customer service is good because they are attentive to you and your meals. Overall Bea Bea's is a great spot, just be prepared to wait if your party is big. The wait is worth it.

First time here and we were pretty excited! We came for bridal dresses early in the morning and we were looking up places for brunch. The person assisting us recommended Bea Bea's! So we were actually seated real quick, there were a lot of people already and even bigger parties outside, so that was a nice surprise. The restrooms are a little dirtier than expected, but it's all private and unisex so that's nice to know. The service we got was really great! Almost every single one of them was friendly and helpful. Especially the main girl who took our order. However, there was this one Asian guy in a brownish/pink shirt who was actually kind of rude to us. He brought us the wrong omelette with jalapeños and something else. We told him that it wasn't correct, but he gave attitude and said it was. We looked at the other plates and we said yes, the other ones are correct, but not that omelette. He goes but this one goes with all of these. We repeat it again, and someone else brings out the correct omelette now. And he just walks away. That kind of left a bad feeling, but everything else was pretty good. Eggs were runny as they should be. Potatoes were great. But the French toast croissant was the best thing we had there. Highly recommend. Besides that one guy, everyone and everything was great! I'd give a 9/10.

A cute little breakfast/brunch spot for locals. The food was decent, lots of options, but overall I feel like they used too much oil and everything came out cold. I did, however, like that they had turkey bacon option for those who dont eat pork. The pumpkin french toast was very underwhelming and a bit blah. The service was awesome though! Im pretty sure its a family run spot
