Just went here for the first time today. Ordered ham, cheese, and jalapenos croissants for my husband and me, and donuts for my son. The owners are very friendly, and the croissants were absolutely delicious - and HUGE! My son is still asleep so i don't have his review of the donuts yet but I'm sure they'll be fantastic. The owners even threw in a few donut holes for us - and they were great!

Donut Star was pretty popular when I was growing up. This did NOT disappoint! It was delicious and the women and husband team were the sweetest people ever. The DONUTS ??? so delicious!

It's just good donuts! The owners are the cutest couple I've ever seen, they are always bright and pleasant and welcoming. If I'm feeling like having a donut of some breakfast, my wife and I go out of our way to eat here!

Decided to try donut star for the first time a few weeks ago. We got a box of donuts and croissants. The lady at the counter was super sweet and threw in a couple of bags of donut holes for our little kiddos. Even though the place is small and they don't have a lot of donuts, the ones they have are delicious.

Easily the best donuts and ham and cheese croissants I've ever had! The texture of the donuts is on point and the croissants are sooo delicious!! I got the ham and cheese jalapeño croissant with a box of assorted donuts. A very well kept shop ran by the nicest owners.
Best spot in La Crescenta for donuts and a good conversation. The owners of this shop are so kind & warm, it feels like you're visiting a friend and catching up. Donuts have the perfect texture and flavor, perfect amount of sweetness. I like to get a dozen , my favorite is the apple fritter- yum!

I love this place, not only because it's around the corner from the casita but because the lady that works the counter is so sweet and always smiling. They take debit and credit cards also which is convenient.

So I'm not a huge donut fan but my neighbor brought Donut Star donuts over this morning for a gathering. I was totally impressed! Fresh, light. She said the owners are family run business and just the nicest people. So if you wanna splurge and try a new place Oh and hear cinnamon rolls are great too!!
