Fresh bakery items. Typical, meaning DELICIOUS, Mexican bakery. Service is fine. Can't wait to go back!

The bread is good. They have a good variety, BUT the service sucks! The two ladies at the counter are rude and not friendly.

Food - the BEST place for Rosa de Reyes or Kings Day Bread, a Mexican tradition to eat on January 6 (twelve days after Christmas). Service was good and helpful. Ambience is a little hole-in-the-wall bakery but Clean. We have tried so many different bakeries for Kings Day Bread and find this to be the best yet authentic compared to Mexico City.

Born and raised on this bread! Bolillos,Conchas,etc...Some employees have been there since the 90's... there is no other as good as this.

The bread is not bad and I would recommend. But I would not recommend the tamales. They lacked flavor and needed more spices and salt. The masa was slightly undercooked. The service is adequate.

It's a nice bakery. I went for día de los muertos (day of the dead) to buy pan de muerto. Picked up some pan dulce and it was all delicious!

I go here for the "elotes" which is the sweet bread with sprinkled sugar on top and cinnamon flavored. I've had these at so many other places, but this one is tops! Every time I take them to work people come up to me and ask where I got them from. My husband likes the croissants, but my faves are the elotes. They also have empanadas and tamales if ever you need them for a party or potluck.

I've been here late in the day and the Mexican pastries have been stale possibly from the day before. Luckily this time I came before noon and the bread was soft and fresh so I'm giving them four stars instead of three. They have all the classic Mexican pastry staples from elotes to conchas and empanadas. They also have a little selection of groceries like milk and tostadas (pericos the best tostadas). They have a small fridge of cakes as well I'm sure you can preorder custom cakes. Definitely recommend this bakery especially since there's not that many Mexican bakeries in the Glendale and Atwater areas.

They sell tamales with raw dough!!! Avoid going there

This place has a strange set up. The baked goods are on the opposite side of the register vs pointing out what you want and having them put it in a box like donuts. They give you an orange colored caffeine tray and a pair of tongs. You pick what you want and put it on the try. It seemed a bit unsanitary to me as the try’s weren’t wiped down and they didn’t put down a clean sheet of paper on them. I mean what if somebody coughed or sneezed while using a try. You’d never know. I wasn’t comfortable with the set up so I just left.

The bread is good but it lack of customer service. Also, I get it inflation is bad but they are taking advantage of the prices, and on top of that they do not provide with receipt and if they do ia because you ask, but do not expect to pay the same price every time, it seems they charge you whatever they want each time. Also if you do by some miracle get the receipt do not expect to have how much each item cost. This place is shady and I hope the IRS check on them because it seems receipt are an inconvenient for them every time you ask for one
