This was such a beautiful little spot I would definitely come back here This is one of those original spots where everything on the menu is probably good! I had 3 pastries Don't judge me please lol But yea I bought two pastries, and then the owner/manager came and offered a pastry saying it was her favorite! And let me tell you, if you want some of the most tasty pastries you can get in LA for a reasonable price - then this place is the spot! Their pastries will make your mouth water the moment you see them! When you bite into those pastries, it makes you wanna hug whoever cooked them! We got the Nutella croissant - yumm We got the strawberry cheese danish - solid And the "favorite" from the owner - the blueberry cheese danish - OMG!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, The almond milk hazelnut latte I got was perfectly balanced And the ambiance was nice They have a nice front patio that I am sure gets popular in the warmer weather Parking is okay, you'll probably have to pay and walk but it's so worth it Needless to say, the service here was warm and impeccable! Sure I got the free pastry but it was more than that! The first words I heard when I opened the door was "hello, welcome!" It was nothing but warm conversation and easy laughs with the entire staff from that moment on! Great sandwich but didn't offer anything but salad with it even when we said we cannot eat spinach. He should have offered us chips or fruit (the girl told us later after it was served). So that made us disappointed. Waste of food, needlessly. The desserts were delicious. But parking nearby was only for 30 min, so we were stressed trying to hurry. Prices were quite high. And seating area was quite limited. But the sandwiches were great. I recommend getting the sandwiches to go and then eat and take your time like at the park or at home. And definitely get a dessert.

As I'm writing this review I'm sitting across from my fiancé from inside Gio's. I couldn't wait to get this on Yelp. This place is amazing. Small French style bakery that w love to go to. We had to pick up wedding invitations nearby in Montrose and took the opportunity to stop by. Great coffee, delicious baguette sandwiches and some of the best muffins around. Highly recommend.

This place was so cute and cozy for lunch! Food was delish! One thing I didn’t like was I ordered a chicken salad it’s like $14 bucks. I didn’t appreciate the fact that I only had 4 little tiny chicken on my plate. I mean come on it’s was $14 bucks. I seriously had to order and share another sandwich cuz that wasn’t enough.
