Glenwood Smokehouse offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff, but falls short in several key aspects. While the ambiance is inviting, the food quality leaves much to be desired, bordering on mediocre. The staff, though amicable, are unfortunately inattentive, which detracts from the overall dining experience. One of the most disappointing aspects is the value for money. The prices at Glenwood Smokehouse are outrageous considering the portion sizes. For instance, their "platter" offering, which includes two meats and two sides, comes at a hefty price of $31 and includes minuscule portions such as two 3-inch ribs and about 3-ounces tri-tip strips. After spending over $160 for a party of four, we left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and hungry. Overall, while Glenwood Smokehouse may have potential, its lackluster food quality, inattentive staff, and poor value for money make it a regrettable dining choice.

The food wasn’t what I expected, mash potatoes had no flavor, the barbecue sauce was gross and it cost $9 just for two little pieces of corn bread. I spent over $100 and it was not worth it.

Despite the company's efforts, their BBQ unfortunately falls short of expectations. The flavors lack depth, leaving the meat somewhat bland and the sauces fail to deliver that punchy, memorable taste. Despite their enthusiasm, the execution lacks finesse; the smokiness doesn't quite penetrate the meat, resulting in a somewhat lackluster BBQ experience. While some aspects show promise, the overall outcome lacks the rich, tantalizing essence expected from exceptional BBQ.

We are {were} regulars there... so disappointing. The service was so slow, even though we were the only customers there. Surprisingly, although there were long lines at every other restaurant around the corner at the Americana, for some reason Glenwood was completely empty. Once we got there, we sat at the bar. The mood was "cold" and dismissive. My brother and I had visited the Americana for Holiday Scenery and local appetizers and decided for some Glenwood Smokehouse to take home. The food was overcooked and cold. So disappointed with the service and food. This has happened before with local eateries where they start off strong and then lose it. No need for us to continue going.

Bland, flavorless, dry and cold. You're better off eating a TV dinner. If you're thinking of eating here, don't. In N Out is across the street.

Amazing food. Service was great as well- we had the 2 plates two sides (ribs, tri-tip) , brisket sandwich with fries, smoked wings and yummy drinks. Everything was

I loved this place! The ambiance was really cool, they had a really good playlist to match the vibe. I liked how the lightening was fairly dim too. I had the brisket sandwich and fries, which was pretty good. I will say, the brisket was a bit salty but overall the meal was pretty good & well portioned. The fries and onion rings were bomb! Especially with the side of bbq sauce. The staff was really friendly offering great service as well. I look forward to going back and trying the banana pudding next time.

Great food! Even half a slab of the baby back ribs were enough for two people! Definitely worth the price. Loved the look of the place pretty modern and and trendy and there's tons to do around it! Servers were very nice.

I went to Glenwood Smokehouse last night, and I had a mixed experience. The food was average and the service was good. The staff was welcoming and friendly.I ordered the hot wings, and they were too crispy (overcooked). I also asked for bleu cheese dressing for my wings, but they didn't have any. They offered ranch dressing. The potato salad was dry, and the baby back ribs were missing meat and a wee bit on the dry side. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The bartender was attentive and helpful, and he made sure I had everything we needed in a timely manner.Overall, I had an average experience at Glenwood Smokehouse. The food was okay, but it wasn't good BBQ. Recommendation: If you're looking for a place with good service and friendly staff, Glenwood Smokehouse is a good option. However, if you're looking for the best BBQ, you might want to try Maple Block where the service and food are both great!

My bf and I walked in on a Saturday at 12:30pm and were the first ones there (they open at 12 on weekends). The restaurant was dim with a modern American BBQ theme. They put on a pretty good indie/alternative playlist, and the music wasn't loud. Our server was friendly, fast, and proactive. The food kept us full for 8 hours even though we walked 10k steps that day! Next time we'll stick to one plate, lol. - Beef Rib ($43.80 - 20 oz). This item is only available on the weekend. I liked how the meat was pre-sliced and presented with the bone. It had a smoky bark and was fork-tender. Pickles and pickled onions offered a nice contrast to the fatty beef rib. The creamy horseradish was not overwhelming. Though this dish was on the expensive end, it was done well.- 1 Meat 1 Side Plate ($19 - 1/3 lb meat). We chose the brisket mix, which included lean and fatty cuts. While the portion looked small, it was filling. Once again, pickles and onions helped cut the fat. The smoky lean brisket had a small fat cap, but the meat was kind of hard. The fatty brisket tasted less smoky, but had a better fall-apart texture. We enjoyed the original BBQ sauce, which was tangy and sweet. I tasted a hint of fruit (apple?) in addition to the pepper and spices. We also got a side of the spicy BBQ sauce, which was more one-note with chipotle and straight spiciness/capsaicin.Our side of Mac n Cheese was good. The noodles were al dente and extremely cheesy.
