Cafe. A word with origins in the early 19th century from the French for "coffee" or "coffee shop." Hot chicken is not something I associate with this word, but the lazily conceived name is only the first thing that isn't right here. We ordered the chicken and were told they were out because they couldn't source it. They had bought some chicken thighs from the market to replace it. Switched to burgers. They don't have lettuce or tomatoes. We got a handful of smashburgers. The things are absolutely dripping grease and not in a good way. They are overly slathered in mayo to the point that the bun absorbed a bunch of sauce and grease. It got soggy in the less-than-ten-minutes it took me to walk home. The meat had a weird taste. Don't know precisely what it was, but it didn't taste good. Not enough salt either. Clearly this place jumped on board the dying hot chicken craze too late and then saw fit to plaster "Smashburger" over their sign to the point that Google confused them for a downtown burger establishment. I know smashburgers are the new hot chicken, but this place has failed to execute on either.

Sad to say, this place is closed for good. Was my favorite chicken sandwich place in the area. That said, it's now a smash burger joint and a great one!

Had this yesterday and it's literally the best chicken I've ever had. The sauce is amazing. I'm going back today but it's only 7 am so I have a few hours to wait lol! Highly recommend. 100/10.

How is this place still in business? Terrible customer service. They must just ask their friends to work the day of because there's no common sense. They don't answer their phone. They run out of something like they just shop down the street daily. No quality in their food. No clue how they have 4 stars. I'd be surprised if they had 2 stars. The chicken wings I ordered had no meat and some pieces looked like it wasn't even a wing. Fries weren't crispy. Tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp. Absolute waste of money. At least they could've provided service. Don't recommend coming here if you're looking for a chicken sandwich. Save your money. Terribly ran.

Good was much better than I thought it would be, fair prices, good quality, really good customer service they called me instantly to tell me they were out of regular fries (bummer) BUT! They gave my curly fries for no extra charge, very cool and very good. Highly recommend.

It's edible, hence one star. The chicken is soggy and bland, despite ordering medium heat. The bread is soggy, the fries were clearly something frozen got from a store (with no seasoning), and the coleslaw was sweet also from something preassembled. Would have been better off trying to make this myself. An extra star for the niceness of the employee who took my order.

Great alternative to daves hot chicken and others. I would say its at the same level so it is amazing has its own taste gotta try.
Although the flavor of the food isn't the best, the quality of it is really consistent. I'm not a big fan of some of the employees improperly wearing masks. I'm only knocking down a star because of the lack of mask wearing. Despite the average customer service, it's a very safe bet (quality wise) if you want Nashville hot chicken. That's all.

Good solid chicken tender sliders and chicken tenders Mild spicy had a nice snap not kick but more importantly did not overwhelm the taste of the chicken and seasoned coating Fries traveled well

Walked in at 3:15p on 7/21 and the place was empty. The door was unlocked, the door chime alerted that I walked in, but I never saw an employee. I could see the fryers and the food prep area, but no food and again no employees. Waited a few minutes and left. I hope the owner reads the reviews, there's a good chance you have great chicken but an absentee employee is costing you business.
