This is one of my family's favorite burger places. Got the Maui Burger, and it was jammed with avocado. Sweet potato fries are so good. I just wish they weren't so expensive to add. The daughter got the sliders, wife got the wings, and they were perfectly spicy. The guacamole and chips are a good appetizer, but the salsa taste extremely store bought from a can. The pineapple butter cake is such a good dessert. I recommend it. Tried the blond beer, and it was just ok. The oreo shake was also lacking.The parking structure, specifically the Island section now has 4 spots that are for pickup. So very limited in the section, but its a big parking structure so I'm sure you can find a spot. Oh and they validate.

I got the Kilauea Burger and the black pepper crust added a really nice touch to it. The fries that came with the burger were also good nothing too special though. Tropical Flight drinks, which are 4 small alcoholic drinks, were great and a good way to try a little of each. And to finish it off I got a Seasonal Butter Cake topped with pineapple and vanilla ice cream. The butter cake was good. Creamy, buttery, refreshing and not too sweet. Overall a great atmosphere and great food. Would definitely come back.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger

The Kilauea burger is amazing, always delicious. The Locals Lager is a fine beverage, top notch. The service is spotty, and the restaurant seating/tables need more regular thorough cleaning.
The food was terrible. We were used to going to the Burbank branch and we were happy but the Glendale branch destroyed the Islands for us.

With a menu that encompasses some old favorites, additional items for health conscious eating makes a welcome update.Your old favorites burgers are still delicious and cooked medium to order unless specified other. These are true restaurant burgers. Sized and constructed with good balance. Orders are accompanied with fries, or you may choose alternatives including a salad for an additional costs. Choice of buns and lettuce wrapped offers another layer of goodness.Most folks do choose the burgers, but there are seafood, salad, chicken, and alternative protein options and entree choices.The drinks, other than adult beverages, are Coca Cola corporate. I do miss the Hawaiian Punch that use quench the best of thirst in this tropical burger oasis.Validated parking is in the building. Just look for the entrance on Broadway St. The staff here is also another reason to return to such a humble fixture in Glendale.
