I've always enjoyed coming here in the past. The food is very good however, the last time the owner was totally rude and told me that he didn't need to take lip-service from me because of having to wait over 40 minutes and we had reservations. He proceeded to tell me everyone had a reservation and there's plenty of other restaurants I can go to. I will never return until that grouchy old owner is gone permanently.

5 stars for the enchanting old-school atmosphere of this cozy establishment. 5 stars for beautifully made cocktails by skilled bartenders. 5 stars for friendly service and knowledgeable servers. The sole reason I'm deducting a star is for the total lack of non-meat dinner options. I made an exception and had a salmon caesar salad that was very delicious, but I so wish they'd throw a vegetarian a proverbial bone. It certainly won't stop me from coming back for a classy drink, but it would make it a hell of a lot easier for me to stick around after I've finished it.

A wonderful and off the radar bar-restaurant with an old school elegance and excellent service. It’s dark and beautiful and we love it.

This is my favorite place in Montrose. Pablo takes care of you behind the bar. And come on, that French onion soup is ridiculously good!

This is great little spot. Great decor. A big bar that you can have dinner on. The kind of place that ou can have a conversation with a friend while enjoying a Sazarac. You can have all the old school favorites steaks, pork chops, and chop salad. It is all reasonably priced. Great service! It just feels good. Not trendy. I moved to the area. My best friend and I usually get together on Wednesday afternoons.

The food is absolutely delicious! Everything in the menu is very high quality. I love coming here for the holidays because they always go above and beyond with service and treat you like family. It's a small but very ambient atmosphere that has comfy booths and open tables. I recommend making a reservation during peak dinner hours.

What a great restaurant/tavern. It has that sophisticated neighborhood pub feeling where you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The food is delicious. And the service is welcoming. The space is well designed and the menu has a very wide selection of items. We went for lunch this time and loved the corned beef. The potato salad, unexpectedly, was layered with flavor. The Ruben is delicious and the fries are absolutely perfect. When it comes to cocktails, they have lots of favorites and specialty cocktails. Don't forget to check out the Tiki menu! Three different Zombies to choose from. My friend who is big into the Tiki culture leaned first to the original 1934 and then settled on the 1950 because it is was "post-war when the Tiki phenomenon really took off based upon the G.I.'s nostalgia of being in the South Seas." Cheers!

I’ve been waiting for the bill for about 30 mins now. The waiter seems to be preoccupied with regulars. I won’t be coming back.

Went here because we found the place off Yelp and wanted reservations to have a dinner destination before going to descanso gardens. Ordered their brisket and it was way too salty. My son ordered their vegetarian dish that was cauliflower and mashed potatoes. Disappointing. So many other options so next time we will look elsewhere.
