I asked the old gentleman, if it is a halal restaurant. He replied everything is Halal. The menu he handed over had nothing which said " PORK " else I would have known that he is not telling the truth. Anyways ordered chicken kebab,lulla kebab plates. It was take away. Got home and had our dinner only to see the menu card along with food which says " pork chops ". Can not tell you guys how disappointed and cheated I felt. Why they have to lie to the customers just to make money.Hate it.

Wonderful people! Everything is fresh and home made. It doesn’t get more authentic and delicious than this. Highly recommend the kebab and the khinkali dumplings. Can’t wait to come back here over and over again!Vegetarian options: Armenian cuisine is extremely vegetarian friendly. All kinds of salads and hummus as well as roasted vegetables off the fire.Kid-friendliness: They adore kids here.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating and plenty of room to sit at a table with wheel chair.

Very nice Eastern restaurant with delicious meals and friendly service. The restaurant was empty when we got in there, and it was super clean, and I liked that their food was kind of healthy. Price was OK, and the gentleman who served the food was really nice and liked to joke with our daughter.Too bad that Monterey doesn't have such restaurants.

I'm so sorry as an Armenian lady for all the Hispanics who felt discriminated against. Unfortunately there are people from all walks of life who are still very closed-minded and prejudiced. Armenians love Hispanics, so please don't take it personally l. Honestly, I've experienced prejudice when I would shop at cities with Hispanic communities and it feels awkward. But I tried not to take it personal since there are many people who just have racist views..... the food is very good but they definitely need to improve on their customer service support to succeed for the long-term.

Owner is very accommodating. If you like a small semi-private gathering, you might want to consider checking out this place. I, in particular, love their beef entree. Not so much of the chicken. Liked their pita bread and hummus as well. It's by a small strip mall. Parking is available.

I don't understand all the hate on the service reviews on here at all. By far some of the nicest people I have ever met!The food was so good! The trout was incredible! All recommendation by the owner.Best part was watching the family lunch it was so cute!Definitely wanna come back again!
The khinkali (dumplings) is absolutely delicious, better than other places I’ve had it at. Remember to grab the tail and hold it upside down when eating. Also, their homemade cheese balls are very good.

The food was great and the service was friendly. The two desserts that we tried were the highlight of the meal, I have never have had those and they were delicious. I would like to see more rice options apart from white rice but that's nit picking.

While the owner is nice. The food is dangerous! He served us RAW CHICKEN! His excuse and explanation was that we were rushing him, to have ordered it on a salad. There was a definite language barrier, not a problem, but it is universal to know how dangerous it is to serve raw chicken. It was the most bizarre atmosphere. No wall decorations. We almost didn't even go in because it looked like a private party with a long table and a family of 10 that we interrupted. Overall I would absolutely not recommend this place. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the owner was kind and apologetic, but truly. It was awful!!! BEWARE
