ive been coming here 2 years and every time it gets worse. the tornado fries used to be 3x the size and used to come with sauce but instead I got this depressing image. I saw cockroaches on the floor as well. Im done with this place and strongly recommend you to not waste your time.

Yolo Hot Chicken is stationed at a prime location on Brand Boulevard in Glendale. My boyfriend and I were craving hot chicken, and we came to the conclusion that this place was... decent. While the chicken tenders we order were satisfying we just don't believe it stood out as "hot chicken" the seasoning seemed to be prominent on one side, and it seemed pretty dry. Service is wonderful, and their patio is amazing, but it didn't really stick out to us compared to other places we've been too. Things to note: Parking: I recommend parking on one of the side streets or the parking lots on those side streets. Cheers!

The best hot chicken out here... They started doing these fried Cornish game hens.. They are super delicious the chef is great.. The chef makes everything from scratch .. The Yolo sauce is the bomb .. I get my chicken fix daily here!!!

If you're drunk and want good late night chicken, look elsewhere unless you want loaded fries. Not only will they skimp you on what you order, but their chicken is way under par. The texture and breading is mediocre at best. However, their fries are actually amazing. If you have to order anything from here, order their loaded fries. Don't waste your time with their half a** attempt at fried chicken. You'll be disappointed. Stick to the fries. Trust me. Their fries are well seasoned and the sauces are actually really good. Their chicken sucks, straight up. Thank me later. You're welcome.

I’ll have you know that I am a hot chicken connoisseur. I’ve eaten at all the countries top hot chicken establishments. Cluck n Blaze, Dave’s, even the original Princes in Nashville. And even though I’ve completely forgotten what it tasted like, I do know that it tasted like hot chicken which is more than I can say for YOLO. Chewy, reheated chicken with a “hot” dusting. My grandma could handle the heat of these tenders, and she won’t even eat mayonnaise because it’s too spicy. You only live once? You only go once…. to Yolos. YOGOs Hot Chicken. You can use that by the way. That’s all I have to say. I’m going to go back to trying to throw the food away because the trash can keeps giving it back.

None of the employees were wearing a mask. The cashier had is mouth half covered when we came in and by the time we got the food it was down. The cook didn't have a mask at all. They didn't enforce the mask policy and someone who came in wearing a mask took it off when talking to the cashier and cook. It sucks. I like this place, but now I don't want to go back. This is the most contagious variant of covid and there was no effort made by employees. We ordered food to go, so we knew there was some risk going to a restaurant to get something but not to this extent. I really did like this place. It's a shame.

3 stars for decent hot chicken (including sandwich stability, it wasn't soggy). Zero stars for sad fries; definitely pre frozen and not really seasoned. I'd try the chicken again, but it seems lackluster.

I can say great things about the food because it is really good. But more often than not, customer service is way below acceptable. I placed an order over the phone and was told 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I’m still waiting for three items and no one working here even bothers to say anything. After waiting an hour I walk in about to say forget it all, and the girl working there grabs my order off the table which to me means she was just going to continue to have me wait. I don’t mind waiting, but if you’re busy just say so and give me an honest estimate when my order will be ready.

Delicious !!! We had the chicken tenders, a wrap and Yolo plate. Amazing flavor, tender, juicy chicken and perfect fries!! Been here three times and each time the customer service was outstanding.
This place is beyond garbage, never eating here again, food tasted like it was drenched in vegetable oil, chicken felt like rubber, the cheese was literally all black, no utensils, even specifically when I asked them for some, food was just awful period, better off going to another chicken spot, like Dave's hot chicken! Trust me.

Nasty cold chicken. No flavor whatsoever. The buns were nothing special. The potato tornado was full of batter that i couldn't even taste the food. It wasn't tasty. Overall dissatisfied. Lacked flavor and presentation .

They should offer a - option on yelp. Cause I'd give yolo hot chicken exactly that. Electric Dusk Drive in recommended then on there web site as a spot to get good eats before entering the pop up drive in. So we placed a online order to pick up on our way into the movie. Got there, walked in, told the girl at the counter I was there to pick up my order. She says ok. I stand there 10 min. Then she says oh. Sorry, we aren't doing on line orders right now. I was like what???? I knew I should a avoided this place. They have a plethora of poor reviews for the service.

We ordered the sliders that came with fries and the wrap. They're both decent but the chicken wrap tasted better. The chicken in the sliders are slightly on the cooler side and the fries tasted like they have sat there a little bit too long. The sauce that came with them is good. It's not a place to get your socks knocked off but cool enough to hang if you don't mind the loud music and funny murals on the wall. The wrap was good with nice grill marks on the outside.Unfortunately, a cockroach tried to join us and be a fly on the wall. It went into the flower pots for hiding. We switched tables. They've tons of online orders so our food took slightly longer to make.
