A great small restaurant with excellent food and many choices. Sitting is limited but very clean.

I went here last week and got their beef koobide. It tasted great and I thought the quality of the food was amazing. The price was very reasonable. If you haven't tried their food, I surely recommend you trying it. I will be dropping by soon.

We got a whole spread today. Falafel plate, Sarma plate, Fesenjan, Vegetarian Ghormeh sabzi, Gheymeh Bademjan, and homemade bread. So delicious. Big portions. Price was right. We will definitely be back for more.

Thick beef patties, full and juicy, sandwiched with vegetables and cheese, and matched with its sauce. The outer skin is crispy and the inside is soft, with distinct layers. It will explode and satisfy with one bite. It's so delicious...

I had one of my family members order on the phone, to pick up later at the restaurant. We had ordered a gyro wrap, falafel wrap, and kabob plate. I went in to pickup my order, and also got 3 cokes while in the restaurant to pick up. The older man in front of the restaurant started to ring me up, and I noticed that he is only charging me for 3 cokes and none of the food we had ordered. So I thought that my family member already paid for me on the phone, as he didn't charge me for the food. I then received a call 10 min later on my phone, and did not answer as it was an unknown number. I then received 2 voice messages from Khatun restaurant with one a women yelling saying "I took the wrong Food", and another voicemail with an older man yelling again, saying " I never paid for the food, and that they will take legal action and call the cops". I then called back few min later and as soon as I picked up they start yelling on the phone, cussing me out in Armenian, and saying I stole the food, and they will call the cops. We then went back and forth on the phone , with them yelling at me, and giving them an explanation of saying I never knew the food was not paid for. FOR THEM AS BUSINESS OWNERS TO YELL AND THREATEN ME ON THE PHONE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, AND THEY SHOULD ABSOLUTELY HAVE THEIR RESTAURANT CLOSED DOWN!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE NO MATTER WHAT! ITS A DISGRACE FOR MY OWN RACE AS AN ARMENIAN TO HAVE ARMENIANS LIKE THIS!!!DISGUSTING!I will file a complaint on their restaurant, and will never return back!

Worst service in LA. Completely disrespectful. They were rude to my mother. Never ever come here.

I got the beef koobideh sandwich and oh man... This place is amazing. The hospitality feels just like home, the service is amazing, and the food is delicious. There are a lot of kabob / Mediterranean places but Khatun stands out. The difference in the level of flavor you get here is insane. I 100% recommend!

WTH, WTH if we weren't hungry we wouldn't even eat the food. I am Persian Armenian and for sure i know what is the good Persian food is . Khatuns food was disaster and nothing like a fresh food. We ordered beef Shawarmas and it was basically meet with salt, Someone's leftover. i chicken kabab i ordered was undercooked and almost pink.0 positive thing about this place, honestly what a waste of meal.

While the owners are incredibly nice people, it seemed that the food was prepared by a newly wedded bride who under the supervision of her mother-in-law is still learning how to not burn the food but also cook it adequately. We ordered Ghormeh Sabzi and different kinds of Kabob. While everything seemed fresh, our taste buds were not even remotely inspired! The Ghormeh Sabzi didn’t taste like anything- the bean was way undercooked and the meat was quite over cooked. The bread, however, was heavenly and their mixed salad was amazing. If you’re Persian or Armenian and used to the taste of authentic Persian food you might get disappointed beyond repair. I guess this is what happens when you’re in Glendale and decide not to go to Raffi!

Just ordered from Khatun via Doordash. We'd never heard of it but thought we'd give it a try b/c it had really good reviews....and now we know why! Pros: + prices are so good for what you get + portions are massive + their rice is super fluffy and legitimately made + their pita is handmade and piping hot (unlike Zankou which doesn't even compare to this spot and is more expensive!) + they flame broiled veggies are really big and perfectly cooked + hummus and yogurt cucumber sides were really delicious + it's obvious the order was assembled with care / quality Cons: NONE So glad we discovered this place. I was so pleased with everything that I even called the restaurant as soon as we received our order just to say "thank you" and they were so friendly. We plan to order from here often and hopefully eat inside one day as the interior looks really nice from the photos! Thank you so much, Khatun! You gained new fans and I'll be sure to spread the word to my friends. :)

Awwww the lady helping us at the counter was very kind and helpful when we placed our order. We ended up getting the daily specials. Chicken and beef koobideh, and the chicken shawarma each for $7! Omg the chicken shawarma is so big, juicy, and delicious!!! I would definitely come back for that again. I just wish the koobideh plates came with a garlic sauce. Otherwise, a good price for lunch!

The portion for the entrees are huge. I had a combo kabob plate and it came with salad, rice, and flat bread. My bf enjoyed his wrap which came with fries. Our food easily could have fed four people. This little hole in the wall is found in a strip mall. It might be family owned, as the lady who took my order also offered to clean the small table outside when I asked if we could eat outside. They told us that they were going to add more tables in the parking lot with a tent. Id come back if I were in the area.
